Construction of Structures For Canal No. 1 in Bramhagavan Lift Irrigation Scheme Stage-II Taluka- Paithan Dist. Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Item No.1- Excavation in soft strata including boulders upto 0.6 m diameter (0.113 cum) for canal, seating of embankment, filter drains / catch water drains etc., and placing the excavated stuff neatly in dump area or for formation of service road / embankment as directed including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, dressing bed and sides to required level and profile etc., completed with all lead & lifts, as directed and as per specification.

Item No.2 :-Excavation in hard rock of all toughness by breaker including boulders above 0.6 m dia. (0.113Cum) minimising damage to side slopes of excavation and placing the excavated rock neatly in approved dump area as directed including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, levelling bed etc., completed with all lead & lifts, as directed and as per specification.

Item No.3 :-Providing and laying rubble soling below foundation in layers including filling with rubble chips, murum etc. completed with all lead & lifts, as directed and as per specification.

Item No. 4 Providing & Erecting M.S. pipes made out of MS plate conforming to IS 2062:1992 including procurement of plates, gas cutting to required size, rolling, tack welding, as sembling in suitable length s to form pipes on automatic welding machine and transportation upto 500m. The welding Shall be ERW/SAW using electrodeshaving weld mark E7018 (Low Hydrogenel ectrodes)and forming 'V' edge on both end s of pipes, Including third party inspection charges, lowering and laying to correct position on prepared bedding or on pedastals or chairs, field hydraulic testing at specified test pressure as per IS 5822:1994 sec 11, field welding to join pipes after laying, Radiographic (5%) and ultrasonic (10%) test ing of welds including all equipments submitting report, expert personnel required for testing, interpreting and submitting report along with developed film where applicable all incidental charges etc complete as per IS-3589:2001 and as per specifications (Nonegative tolerance in thickness is permissible) with all lead & lifts, as directed and as per specification.

Item No.5 - Cleaning the surface of rising main pipe by Sand Blasting to expose fresh metal surface ready for painting including removal of all rust, oil, grease, etc. as per specification including all material, labour and equipments etc completed with all lead & lifts, as directed and as per specification.(Qty. of sand 3cum/100sq.mtr.).

Item No.6: Providing & applying Liquid epoxy coating system to the interior surface of Rising Main Pipes as per Annex - B of IS 3589:2001,with one coat of Zinc rich epoxy primer (90% zink ,DFT 40 micron , coverage 9 Sqm / lit) and three coats of coal tar epoxy paint (DFT 120 X 3 micron coverage 5 Sqm/Lit/coat) including cleaning the surface to the satisfaction of Engineer in charge by sand blasting /chemical cleaning / scraping removing oil, grease, other foreign materials including all necessary material, labour etc. completed with all lead & lifts, as directed and as per specification. (Qty. of sand 3cum/100sq.mtr)

Item No.7:- Providing & applying Liquid epoxy coating system to the external surface of Rising Main Pipes as per Annex-B of IS 3589:2001, with one coat of Zinc rich epoxy primer (90 % zink (DFT 40 micron , coverage 9 Sqm / lit) and two coats of coal tar epoxy paint (DFT 120 X 2 micron coverage 5 Sqm / Lit / coat) including cleaning the surface to the satisfaction of Engineer in charge by sand blasting / scraping removing oil, grease, other foreign materials including all necessary material , labour etc. completed with all lead & lifts, as directed and as per specification.

Item No.8 - Providing and laying expansion / construction joint with shalitex super expansion pad (jute fiber) 12 mm thick including sealing the joint with shalitex sealing compound etc. completed with all lead & lifts, as directed and as per specification. (For all slab thickness).

Item No. 9 :-Back filling up to ground level behind the canal structures etc. complete with suitable material of approved quality in layers not exceeding 20 cm without disturbing the structure etc. complete as directed.

Item No.10: Providing and laying in situ cement concrete of grade M-15 of trap/granite / gneiss/quartzite/graded metal for foundation and bedding by Batching Plant &Transit Mixer including centering, shuttering, scaffolding, placing, compacting, curing etc. completed with all lead & lifts, as directed and as per specification.
