B/R (BLDG PORTION) Taking down cement plaster of any description, including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc, complete all as specified and directed

Dismantling of existing Expansion joint system and M & L applying TPO/FPO based joints sealing membrane, Sikadur Combiflex SG (150x2mm) with epoxy adhesive, Sikadur 31 C ( the joint shall be packed withing polystyrene board before application of Combiflex ). Then providing Sika pllystrene sealant into the gap after proper surface prepration after filling the gap with polyurethene backer rod, followed by precast RCC slab (1:2:4 ) 50 mm thick placed over the joint with minimum 150 mm projection on either side with proper drip course of size (length) n.exc. 1.2 mtr each and sealing the joints of precast RCC slab with exterior grade silicone sealant of size i.e. 10 mmx 10 mm balance with polystrene board complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr -in-Charge.
Chipping of unsound /weak concrete materials from slabs , beams,columns ,lintel,chajja, fin , facia etc. by any means as directed by engr-in-charge including tapering all edges, making square shoulders of cavities air or sand blasting etc and cleaning of exposed concrete surface of lightly picking materials by air blasting or sand blasting incl foreign matrials , loose concrete/aggregate etc and disposal of all debris out of MOD land and complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge ( upto 8 storey of building)
Removing of concrete all around reinforcement including from behind the reinforcing bars to give an average 25mm (but not less than 15mm clear air gap)by manual methods (using wire brushing ,chiselling etc) and applying alkaline rust removing chemical followed by removing rust including from behind the reinforcing bars by emery paper and cleaning the area throughly by water and allow it to dry all as per manufacturer,s instruction to give it a totally rust free finished steel surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge ( Make : SIKA/FOSROC) upto 12 mm dia bar ( upto 8 storey High. of building)
M & L for providing single coat of epoxy bond adhesive of prepared non metallic surface (existing surface) and applying by brush all as per manufactures instruction/specification. The bonding agent shall have minimum compressive strength of 40 N/Sqmm and complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge upto 8 storey
Supply and application of Epoxy Zinc rich primer on the prepared steel surface by brush the primer shall have a minimium specific gravity 1.75 minimum weight film thickness/coat 40 microns and minimum adhesive bond strength with steel is 1.5N/mm2 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Make ; SIKA/FOSROC upto 8 storey High.
M & L for providing and placing in position free flow non shrink cementitious micro concrete of Grade of M-50 to the effected beam, column including necessary form work etc. The micro concrete shall have a minimium 1 day compressive strength of 10 Mpa and 28 days strength of 50 Mpa, minium tensile strength 5N/mm2 @ 28 days, minimium flextural strength 5N/mm2 @ 28days and complete all as spd and dir by Engr-in-charge.( Make: SIKA/FOSROC/ELANTAS BECK/KUNAL CONCHEM) 50 mm average thickness of Column,upto 8 storey High.
Add/ deducted item No 12 above for each 10 mm thickness etc complete all as specified and directed.
Supply, mixing and application two component structural grade polymer modified reinstatement morter, where local spalling has taken place or shuttering is not possible . The morter can be applying in layers not exceeding 6mm thick in each layer in and upto any thickness in smaller vertical pockets and upto any thickness in horizontal applications. The mortar should have a minimium compressive strength 12N/mm2 in 1 day and 45N/mm2 in 28 days. Minimum flexural strength should be 8 N/mm2 in 28 days. A modified styrene butadience emulsion for use as a bonding aid and gauging liquid for cementious system to be mixed with cement slurry before the application of modified polymer mortar to be used @ 6 ltr/bag of cement. The bonding agent should have minimium compressive strength 24N/mm2. Minimum tensile strength 3.5N/mm2, minimium flexural strength 6.5N/mm2 complete all as spd and directed by the Engr-in-charge upto 25 mm average thickness and upto 8 storey High. [D] HOUSING:[i] The busbar trunking housing shall be constructed of 1.6 mm thick electro-galvanised steel and shall be provided with a suitable protective finish of epoxy paint. [ii] The busbar trunking housing shall be totally enclosed non-ventilated for protection against mechanical damage and dust accumulation and it shall be tested for its characteristics offering resistance against corrosion. It shall also pass at least 1000 salt spray test to ensure its anti-corrosion ability. [iv] Access shall be required to only see one side of the busbar trunking to tighten joint bolts. [v] It shall be possible to remove any joint connection assembly to allow electrical isolation or physical removal of a busbar trunking length without disturbing adjacent busbar trunking lengths. [G] PLUG-IN OPENING [i] The connecting jaw of a plug-in unit shall plug directly onto the busbar and have full contact with busbar itself. Welded tab at plug-in busbar is unacceptable. [ii] All contact on joint and plug-in opening shall be of copper strip in order to avoid external force damage on busbar while plugging in or plugging out operation.
[iii] On plug-in busbar trunking there shall be three dead front, hinged cover type plug-in opening on each side. [iv] All openings shall be usable simultaneously. Busbar trunking shall be installed in such a manner that plugs are side mounted to permit practical use of all plug-in openings. [v] It shall be possible to inspect the plug-in opening and busbars prior to the installation of plug-in units. [H] SUPPORT STRUCTURE [i] Support structure shall be provided as per OEM's recommendation. [ii] Indoor feeder and plug-in busbar trunking shall be approved for hanger spacing of up to 3 m for horizontally mounted run and 4.88 m for vertically mounted runs. Outdoor feeder busbar trunking shall be approved for spacing up to 1.5 m for horizontally or vertically mounted runs. [I] VOLTAGE DROP [i] The voltage drop (sending end voltage minus receiving end voltage) specified shall be based on the busway operating at full rated current and stabilized operating temperature in [ii] The 3- Phase line to line voltage drop shall not exceed 3.4 V per 100 feet length at 40% power factor concentrated load which may exist during motor starting. [iii] The line to line voltage drop shall not exceed 4.1 V per 100 feet at the load power factor which produces the maximum voltage drop in the busway.
[J] INSPECTION / SUPPORT OF INSTALLATION [i] The installation of busbar trunking system (BTS) shall be executed by skilled professionals with minimum experience of 4 yrs. having sufficient installation base and pre-commissioning experience. [ii] The entire installation shall be directly supervised by the OEM. [iii] The OEM shall also furnish a commissioning report underlining satisfactory installation after the commissioning of BBT system. 4000 A BBT (from CSS to Main LT Panel)

[i] The APFC Panel shall be procured directly from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or OEM authorized franchises only. The APFC Panel described as above shall be complete in all respect as per specification enclosed, up to the entire satisfaction of Engineer -in-charge. To ensure safety, reliability and accountability of component co ordination, all the major capacitor bank components such as capacitor units, de tuning reactors, PF controllers, circuit breakers, contactors and the enclosure system called for in this specification should preferably be from a single manufacturer. The OEM shall preferably manufacturer PFC components and switchgear.The OEMs specified cannot authorize any other partners / sub vendors to manufacture APFC Panels on their behalf.
