REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF SEWAGE LINES MANHOLES SEPTIC TANK BRICK DRAIN AND CERTAIN MISC B/R WORKS AT AF STN ARJANGARH UNDER GE (AF) GURGAON

Cleaning /removal of blockage/De-silting of sewer line 300 mm dia with mechanical device like super sucker machine, high pressure jetting machine/gantry machine or any other mechanical device. incl taking out debris installation of adequate number of over pumping system leak proof stanching arrangement of U/S & D/S side of work length, temporary rising main etc for smooth flow of sewage system to avoid flood in the area complete all specified and as directed.

Cleaning /removal of blockage/ De-silting of sewer line 150 mm dia with mechanical device like super sucker machine, high pressure jetting machine/gantry machine or any other mechanical device. incl taking out debris installation of adequate number of over pumping system leak proof stanching arrangement of U/S & D/S side of work length, temporary rising main etc for smooth flow of sewage system to avoid flood in the area complete all specified and as directed.

Dewatering/desilting of existing manholes of internal size n exc 0.60mx0.60m depth n exc 1.50m and removing of all solid/semi-solid matter of silt residue both organic or inorganic in nature (manual or mechanical system at contractor's discretion)and incl removing RCC manhole Covers and refixing the same after cleaning the same position, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dewatering/desilting of existing manholes of internal size n exc 1.00mx1.00m depth exc 1.50m but n exc 3.00m and removing of all solid/semi-solid matter of silt residue both organic or inorganic in nature (manual or mechanical system at contractor's discretion)and incl removing RCC manhole Covers and refixing the same after cleaning the same position, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking out thick/solid sludge (sedimented sand sludge/grit, ash rages, fibres and springe material etc) by mechanical process from septic tanks including inlet and outlet chambers and soakage well, removing and depositing the sludge outside MoD land in a pit and covering the sludge in the pit with earth and finally spraying unslaked lime, dry around the septic tank and covering the pit with earth complete all as directed and specified. Notes :- (i) Cost of earth work in the pit is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the tenderer. (ii) Thick/solid sludge shall be measured under this item when it is not feasible by dewatering under ser item No 7

De-watering of septic tanks and soakage wells, with mechanical pumping set and draining out the same disposal of sludge outside MoD land in pit to be dug out side and covering top with a layer of 25 mm thick earth filling compacting and levelling all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge, complete all as directed and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in-Charge. (i) Digging of pit shall be deemed to be included in unit rate. (ii) Contractor will maintain the hygenic condition in area all the time by taking suitable required measure.

M&L loose filling with brocken bricks of gauge 80 to 150 mm in sockege pits, sockage wells, complete all as specified.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5m width and n.exc 1.5 metre deep in hard soft/loose soil for foundation laying of pipes, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes & getting out, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm all as specified and as directed.
