REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT OF SPARES TO HT VCBs 11 KV SUB STATIONS RMUS LBS 11 KV OH LINES GOD LIGHTENING ARRESTORS HT UG CABLES LT UG CABLES CONTROL CABLES LT PANELS APFC PANELS LT SWITCH GEARS AND ITS CONNECTED EM WORKS AT EETF DSST DSP CIC MRSAM ARMY

Taking out the Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB) of 11KV Voltage rating 400/630/800/1250 Amps, 3 phase, 50Hz from 11 KV HT panel board for overhauling of VCB, carrying out visual check of panel, inspect, clean and tightening of bolts of busbar chamber, cleaning and inspecting CT & PT's, checking cable tightness, control circuit and servicing of VCB for the following :-

(a) Drawout mechanism

(b) Driving mechanism

(c) Cleaning of insulated parts

(d) Functional testing of VCB

(e) Measuring of IR values and contact resistance, checking of inner lock within panel board, checking of indicating lamps and zero error of all accessories, cleaning dusting, physically checking for any damages, tightening of bolts, nuts, greasing and lubricating by SIEMENS grease of all moving parts, lubricating spring charge mechanism by suitable oil, checking and tightening of control wiring for its normal functioning, applying petroleum jelly for top and bottom arm, female contacts and jaw contacts, checking of ON / OFF mechanism, mechanically by removing control plug under test condition and by operating the breaker tripping coil, closing coil manually.

(f) Checking of breakers closing and tripping operation through protecting relays (both overload and earth fault relays) meggaring the breakers, vacuum interrupter bottles, checking ON / OFF indicators, replacing unserviceable parts viz indicating lamps, Ammeter, Voltmeter, TNC switch, vacuum interrupter bottles, rotary / selector switches, strip heater, body insulators, insulating rods etc., to make VCB in trouble free condition, assembling the VCB, testing and commissioning the system complete all as per manufacturers instructions and as directed.

(g) Note : Replaceable parts will be measured and paid separately under respective items and the labour element for taking down and fixing is be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Overhauling should be done through authorized OEM or channel partner of OEM or State Government Approved License holder. (VCBs of make : Schneider Electric, Siemens, Crompton Greaves, Areva, Kirloskar and Alstom )

(h) No payment shall be made towards this item till submission of satisfactory test report duly verified by Engineer-in-Charge.

Testing and calibration of 11 KV HT VCB panel protection relays, over current / earth fault, tripping and closing circuits by primary and secondary injection method for their optimal tripping and closing performance including resetting of the time whenever required including submission of test report in duplicate complete all as directed.
