Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:3:6/ M-10 with minimum cement content 220 Kg/Cum (1 cement, 3 crushed sand, 6 graded stone aggregate of maximum size 20 mm) including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specificationsand drawings but excluding the cost of Form work shuttering, centering Complete at all levels
Providing and laying design mix cement concrete of M-45 grade in roads, taxi tracks and runways using crushed Sand, graded stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size in appropriate proportions as per specified design criteria approved by Engineer-in-charge, mechanically vibrated using needle and Surface vibrators including steel form work with sturdy M-S channel sections including curing and providing and filling construction joints and dummy joints with approved joint filler primer or equivalent including rounding of the edges and filling the grooves 10 x 25 mm deep at top for construction joints and 10 mm x 50 mm deep at top for dummy joints with joint sealing compound (conforming to grade B of IS:1834) including making necessary arrangements for expansion joints etc all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Extra for RCC/PCC Using Ready Mix Concrete from outside project area including transporting and pumping from approved batching plants .
Dismantling Kerb stone carefully without damaging the stone, including removal of earth, base pcc etc. and refixing the same in line and level on newly laid base PCC 1:3:6 and pointing the exposed faces in cement mortar 1:3, curing etc. complete as directed by the Engineer in charge. The rate shall also include charges for disposal of unserviceable materials within 50 m lead. The base PCC laid shall be paid separately under relevant item.
Preparation and consolidation of sub-grade (Proof Rolling) with power roller of 8 to 10T capacity , dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and rerolling the subgrade .Note: Excavation shall be paid in relavant Item.
Manufacturing supplying and fixing retro Reflective overhead informatory roads signage boards made up of 2 mm thick aluminum sheet face to be fully covered with high intensity and encapsulated lens type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type III of ASTM-D-4956-01 as approved by EIC letters, borders etc. as per IRC:67-2001 in silver white with blue colour back ground and with high intensity grade, pasted on substrate by pressure sensitive adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying presure ocnforming to class of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same to the plate of structural frame work by means of suitable sized aluminium alloys, rivets or bolts and nuts @ 300 mm centre to centre all along the periphery as well as in two vertical rows along with theft resistant measures. The rate includes the cost of painting with two or more coats of epoxy paint in grey colour on the back side of aluminium sheet including appropriate priming coat. The rate includes the cost of rounding off corners, lowering down the structural frame work from the gantry, fixing and erecting the same in position all complete as per drawings, specification and direction of the engineer-in-charge.
Lead charges for lead exceeding 2 KM but not exceeding 3 KM, by mechanical transport including loading, unloading, stacking / levelling etc.
Debris Note: The rates in respect of this items are applicable for NET Quantities arrived at after making deduction for voids @ 30% for Debris & @ 20% in respect of soil from corresponding TRUCK Measurement.
Providing Reinforcement Mild Steel for reinforced cement concrete at all levels including supplying, preparation of bar bending schedules,cutting, bending, transporting, fixing, tieing in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire all labour charges, cost of cover blocks in specified grade of concrete etc. complete including cost of binding wire as per specifications and drawings. Providing and laying polythene sheet of 200 Micron on prepared surface for pouring of concrete. The plan area to be measured only. The sheet should be approved by the Engineer-in-charge.
Supplying man power along with necessary pans, spades, shovels pickaxe, punjas, ropes, small special spade, raincoats, safety shoes, etc. minimum two number of labour per day upto maximum any number of labour as and when decided by Project Engineer to work for eight hours per day or monsoon period to carry out the cleaning of choked drains grating grills/hume pipes /footpath by removing the dry leaves, silt etc. and also carry out seasonable departmental work allotted by Project Engineer from time to time.
Carrying out Civil Engineering works like surveying & leveling, checking of formwork fabrication, reinforcement fabrication as per drawings, witnessing sample retrieval & testing for various construction materials, ensuring concrete ingredient ratio at batching plant and pouring of appropriate grade of concrete in plain and reinforced concrete works, ensuring proper mixing of approved ingredients & waterproofing admixtures for mortars and brickwork, plaster, flooring & waterproofing works, and other civil & PH works including supervision of construction safety as per BARC specifications & relevant documentation, compiling, binding and preparation of tender documents & Agreements overall as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (1)Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Technician having minimum SSC or Trade certificate in Masonary/Plumber/Carpenter/Painter Trade of less than one year duration from ITI/Government Recognised Vocational Training Institute. (2)Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Technician for each job for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintainance work, the person will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account. (3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out 1 Job per day for the period mentioned in NIT. (4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one Technician exclusively for the particular job. (5) Person should be engage after scrutiny of BARC Engineers and approved by Competent authority.

(2)Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Engineer for each job for minimum 26 working days per month for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintainance work, the person will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account.(3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out 1 (one)/2 (two) Jobs per month as per requirement at site for the period mentioned in NIT.(4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis.
