REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for Walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, butteresses, plinth and string courses etc.

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level. Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Portland Pozzolana / Ordinary Portland /Portland Slag cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads; but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the following grades of concrete. Note: Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum specified cement content in design mix shall be payable separately. In case the cement content in design mix is more than 1.10 times of the specified minimum cement content, the contractor shall have discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the cost of extra cement. Including waterproofing compound as non per manufacturer recommendation. All works above plinth level upto floor V level Concrete of M25 grade with minimum cement content of 330 kg /cum

FLOORING

Cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat cement, including cement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc. complete. (With top layer is mixed with Red oxide finihses) 40 mm thick with 20 mm nominal size stone aggregate

FINISHING

20 mm cement plaster of mix :As per waterproofing compound as per manufacturer recommendation 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand)

Pointing on stone work with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand): Flush/ Ruled pointing

Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC content less than 50 gms/litre, of approved manufacturer, of required shade and colour complete, as per manufacturer's specification. Two or more coats on new work

Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface : Water thinnable cement primer

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : One or more coats on old work

Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready made) having VOC content less than 50 gm per ltr. of approved manufacturer and of required shade and colour complete. as per manufacturer's specification. One or more coats on old work

REPAIRS TO BUILDING

Raking out joints in lime or cement mortar and preparing the surface for re-pointing or replastering, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

DISMANTLING AND DEMOLISHING

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.

MARKET RATE ITEMS

Surface preparation : The existing floor surface shall be grinded to remove red oxide paint & roughened as per the directions of Engineer-In-Charge. (Cost inclusive of all materials, consumables, labours, equipment hire charges, tools and tackles etc.,comlete).

Providing and pressure grouted for the cavities if the existing cavities in the size stone masonry wall joints, shall be pressure grouted with micro fine cement after fixing the nozzles/packers/non-return valve as per manufacturer's specifications, (under a pressure of 3 to 4 kg/sq.cm) sketch and directions of the Engineer-In-charge (Assuming 3 kg consumpton per nozzle/packers)

Providing and laying of non adhesive non bituminous WPE-55 waterproofing membrane such as Talrak flexeal PEP or any equivalent as per the directions of Engineer- In-charge and manufacturer's specifications

Providing and laying of Screed Concrete of M25 grade shall be provided with slope as per standard practice & the directions of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and coating with two coats of acrylic polymer modified elastomeric waterproofing membrane coating such as brush bond or any equivalent as per manufacturer's secification and directions of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing of water proof plaster (20mm thk) after ensuring adequate slope to avoid stagnation of water as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge.

Removing and refixing of heavy duty MS sliding record book racks track channel including necessary accessaries etc. complete as per engineer in charge.
