SPECIAL REPAIRS TO EXISTING CI/DI PIPE LINE AND AUGMENTATION OF WATER SUPPLY AT CRUSHERS LINE AT BMS, UNDER GE BRICHGUNJ PORT BLAIR.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and n.exc. 1.5 m deep and getting out for taking out or laying of pipes / cable of any size in Soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returing, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cms thick in soils complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing the surplus soil not exceeding 50M and depositing where directed by Engineer-in-Charge at a level not exceeding 1.5Mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out old unserviceable water mains of 80/100/200mm bore including all fittings with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete for repair complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, lay in trenches, connect joint, testand commission of 200mm dia bore Ductile Iron Pressure pipes, centrifugally cast(spun), Class "K-9" with socket and spigot ends conforming to IS-8329 in standard lenghths suitable for Push- On Rubber gasket jointing with inside morter lining and black bitumen external coating complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Supply and fix in repairs of 80mm bore ISI marked, GI tubing medium grade, galvanised with and walls and ceilings or laid in floor / trenches etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, fixing and testing of Cast Iron, heavy duty, Specials of any size, radius and length confirming to IS - 1538 Part - I to XXIII: 1976 such as bends [any type, radius and angle], tapers any type [straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc], sockets, tail pieces, connecting pieces, tee pieces, single branch, "Y" junction, double branch, cross, [all sockets or socket and spigot or Flanged], collars, caps and plugs, ( required for shape as per site ) adopters etc suitable for CI / DI Spigot and Socket or Flanged pressure pipes up to 250mm dia complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F Sluice Valve, Cast Iron body, Stainless Steel Spindle, Gun Metal Rings including Wheel for operation, Flanged and Drilled, 200 mm bore of pipe, confirming to IS - 14846, Class PN -1.6, Long Body type including all Joints with Rubber Gasket and Jointing Materials, Bolts, Nuts, Washer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repairs Air Release Valve, 100 mm bore of pipe conforming to IS - 14845, with 2 Air Out lets of 25 mm bore with suitable Flanges, GI Pipes of Medium Grade 25 mm bore, MS Clamps, including all Joints with Rubber Gasket and Jointing Materials, Bolts, Nuts, Washer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Construction of Valve Chamber of size 900 x 900 x 900 mm internal size suitable for Sluice Valve, with PCC (1:4:8), Type D2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate for foundation, 200 mm thick Precast Cement Concrete Solid Block Masonry of (1:3:6) Type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in Cement Mortar (1:6) 40 mm thick PCC, (1:2:4) Type B1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate Coping, rendering in CM 1:4, 15 mm thick including provision of Mild Steel Sheet Cover 3 mm thick with required size Angle Iron frame work embedded in concrete with suitable hinges and locking arrangements including two coat of synthetic enamel black paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer to steel surfaces and including necessary earth work excavation in any type of soil etc., removal of surplus soil and rubbish not exceeding 50m distance and including demolition of old Valve Chambers of any description complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4) Type B-2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, filling mass concrete, for supporting / encasing of CI / DI / GI Pipes of any description, valve chambers, Pilasters, Columns, Pillars, Buttresses, Boundary Pillars and Posts including necessary form work etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4) Type B-1, using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in Coping and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including formwork [straight or curved] complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting the existing water main 200mm dia and insert 'T' reducer for taking branch connection size 150 mm including all materials as required and excavation, earth work complete all as specified and as directed.
