Cutting in earth work by mechanical means or manual means in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil, including saturated soil comprising of pick work, jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiesling and wedging out of rocks (where blasting is prohabited) and their intermediate classification of soil including dewatering whereever required,settling out to required lines,levels as shown on the drawing and directed by the Engineer in charge at site according to the HP.PWD specification of 1990 (one thousand nine hundred ninety) volume-I (one) and sorting out useful materials to be stacked at suitable site as per satisfication of Engineer -in- Charge along with levelling fine dressing andwith all kinds of labour , mechanical tools and equipment and safety measures and incidental necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour (if required). All useful materialsuch as stones, shingles, aggregate,sand slates shall be properlystacked at site to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Any loss to thepublic and private property during the course of execution and disposal of serviceableand unserviceable materials shall betheabsoluteresponsiblity of the contractor and shall have to be dully compensated by him in all respectsincluding all incidental charges.

Excavation in drains and channels etc; in earth work in all kind of soil, such as pick work, jumper work, pick jumper work, blasting work, hard and soft blasting, saturator soil including chiseling or any other mixed variety of soil, lift upto any heights within all leads, lifts of materials and other incidentals.

Excavation in foundation and trenches in earth work . in all heights and depth etc. in all kinds of soils including , saturated soil comprising of ,pick work, jumper work, blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiselling and wedging outof rock ( where blasting is prohibted) and there intermediate classification of soils including dewatering whereever required, setting out to required lines, levells as shown on the drawing and direted by the Engineer-in-Charge at site, according to the PWD specification of 1990 ( One thousand nine hundered ninety) volume-I ( one) and sorting out useful and unuseful materials and transportation of the useful materials for disposing at dumping site ( to be arranged by the contractor) as per satisfication of Engineer-in- Charge through all modes of transportations including head load, animal load or mechanical means along with levelling fine dressing and with all kinds of labour , machineries, tool equipments and safety measures and incidents necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour (if required). All useful materialsuch as stones, shingles, aggregatesand slates shall be properlystacked at site to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. . Any loss to thepublic and private property during the course of execution and disposal of serviceableand unserviceable materials shall betheabsoluteresponsiblity of the contractor and shall have to be dully compensated by him in all respectsincluding all incidental charges.

Filling in plinth with sand under floor including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete within all leads, lifts of materials and other incidentals.

Disposal of excavated earth by mechanically or manually means upto all leads and lifts upto approved dumping site of M.C Shimla, which will be arranged by the contractor by himself including his own risk and cost, through all mode of transportation including head load, animal load or mechanical means alongwith transportation of the unuseful materials for disposing including payment of prescribed charges of dumping to the owner of dumping site through all modes of transportaion alongwith its levelling, fine dressingcomplete the work by mechanized means and labour ( if anyrequired). All useful materials such as stones, aggregate andslates shall besorted out and stacked along roadsside or or building sidte. Any loss of the public/ private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be dully compensated by him in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

FORM WORK: Providing form work with steel plates of 3.15mm (Three decimal One five millimeters) thick, welded with angle iron in frames of 30x30x5mm (Thirty into Thirty into Five millimeters), so as to give a fair finish including centring, shuttering strutting and propping etc, with wooden battens and ballies for all heights/depths of propping and centring below supporting floor to ceiling and removal of the same for in-situ reinforced concrete and plain concrete work including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts. & at all floorlevels:-Foundation footing and basis of columns, etc. and mass concrete.

Flat surfaces such as soffits of suspended floors, roofs, landings and the like :-Floor etc. upto 200mm in thickness

Vertical surfaces such as wall (any thickness) partition and the like including attached pillasters, buttresses plinth and string courses and the like :-

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8(One cement Four sand :Eight graded cursed/broken stone aggregate 40mm) (forty millimeters nominal size) mechanically mixed and curing complete, excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth, within all leads, lifts of materials and other incidentals.

Providing and laying water proofing treatment with Dr. Fixit-FASTFLEX or equivalent with two components polymer modified cementitious coating consisting of cementitious powder and a polymer liquid in two coats for first coat:- clean and saturate surface and then applying a coat of Dr. Fixit -FASTFLEX by maintaning a coverage of 6-7 sft per kg to achive one mm thickness and the same process shalltended upto 300 mm vertically. The second coat shall be applied in opposit direction after four six-hours of application of first coat then sprinkle sand on top surface of applied Dr. Fixit-FASTFLEX while still tacky over the second coat. Then apply cement mortar 1 ; 4 ( 1 cement :m 4 sand) admioxed with 200 ml of pidiproof LW @ 200ml per 50 kg bag of cement over the floor with the suitable grediant towards drain pipe, while tyhe second coat of Dr. Fixit is still tacky including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts.

STEEL WORK:-- Providing and fixing M.S.B.P. sheet in eaves board / ornamental facia / soffit & ceilings including cutting, welding and applying a coat of red lead primer etc. complete as per the instruction of Engineer in charge including carrage of material in all leads and lifts for all floor levels. .

Steel work welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting hoisting fixing in position and applying a priming coat of red lead paint including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts :-(a) In beams, joists, channels, angles,, tees ,flat with connecting plates, angles cleats, as in main and cross beams, hips, jack rafters, purlins connected to common rafter and the like for all floor levels.

In gratings, framed, guards, bars ladders and railing, brackets including hollow sections of various sizes including door frames of ISLC 75 X 90 mm / 125 X 40 mm or angles as required and similar works including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts for all floor levels for all floor levels. .

Providing and fixing angle iron cupboard frames manufactured from M.S.Angle iron section 25X25X5mm thickness including hinges jamb,lock jamb,beed and if required angle thrashold of mild steel angle 25X25 mm welded or rigidly fixed by mechanical means,lugs with split end tails to each jamb including steel butt hinges 2.5 mm thick with provision for locking rrangement and shock absorber as specified and applying a coat of approved steel primer after preteatment of the surface as directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing and fixing in position collapsible steel shutters with vertical channels 20 mm X10 mmX2mm and braced with flat iron diagonals 20 mm X5 mm size with top and bottom rails of T.iron 40 mm X40 mmX6 mm with 38 mm dia steel pulley complete with bolts and nuts locking arrangements, stoppers,handles,including applying a priming coat of red lead paint including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts -.

Providing and fixing round or D shape moulded hand rail of M.S. hollow pipe 50mm diax2mm thick welded in straight lenght over M.S. flat at top of vertical balusters including one coat of red oxide priming coat complete (M.S. flat & balusters of railings shall be mesaured & paid separetely) including carriage of material within all leads and lifts.

PAINTING AND POLISHINGPainting two coats(excluding priming costs)on new steel and other metal surfaces with enamel paint to give an even shade including cleaning the surfaces of all dirt, dust and other foreign matters paint other than white. Including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals for all floor levels.

Applying one or more coat of paint based putty made of whiting and POP etc. mixed in required quantity of white enamel paint for application on wood based products after thoroughly brushing the surface free from mortar drops, dust, loose materials and other foreign matters sand papered smooth to give final matter finish to the surface complete including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts for all floor levels.

Applying priming coat over new wood and wood based surfaces after and including preparing the surface by thoroughly cleaning oil, grease dirt and other foreign matter sand papering and knotting with ready mixed paint brushing wood primer pink. The rate is inclusive for carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals

Painting two coats (excluding priming costs) on new wood and wood based surfaces with enamel paint brushing to give an any shade including cleaning the surfaces of all dirt, dust and other foreign matters sand papering and stopping within all leads, lifts of materials and other incidentals.

Synthatic white / other than whitw enamel paint.

PLASTERING WORK:-6mm (Six milimetre) cement plaster to ceiling in cement mortar 1:3 (One Cement is to Three Sand) in all floor level. The rate is inclusive for carriage of materials within all leads, lifts heights and other incidentals
