Strengthening and Widening of Kufri to Chail road Km 0/000 to 25/000

Excavation in soil in hilly area in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil , ordinary rock and hard rock .All work of rock cutting by blastingshall be carried out by taking all necesary precautions against soil erosion ,damages to hill side ,water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side .Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) .All earth work in cutting /excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines ,grades ,sides slopes,width,camber,super-elevation and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge in conformity with the requirement of MoRD technical specification for Rural Road, Section. 300 & 1600 to achive designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materials useful for constrcution at suitable sites safe manner and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load and animal transport and mechanical means along with its levelling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. The land for dumping sites shall be arranged by the contractors himself and nothing extra shall be paid on this account,filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for smooth riding .The recovery for stones ,whether useful or not for 24.03 Cum (forty point zero four) cubic metre at the rate of Rs 300/-only (Rupees three hundred only ) per cubic meter shall be effected on prorata basis in all circumstances .Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor ,which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Earth work in excavation for structures in all depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads August 2004 clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated Suitable materials. All work of rock *cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock(where blasting is prohibited). all earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner treaming filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects including all incidental charges.

Providing and laying Cement Concrete 1:2:4 (One Cement: Two coarse sand: Four graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) curing complete including the cost of form work and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & laying heavy duty precast cement concrete inter locking paver blocks vibro compacted upto M-50 grade i/c border or kurb block grey or coloured over sub-base of the concrete with 25mm thick average thickness of cement mortar 1:4(1 cement:4sand) laid over and jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of blocks i/c curing rubbing & polishing complete sub base concrete floor to be paid for 80mm thick inter locking blocks.including hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated P.C.C. M-10 nominal mix 1:3:6 (one cement: three sand: six graded stone aggregate 20 mm (twenty millimeter) nominal size for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification for rural roads August 2004 clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete mechanically mixed and vibrated PCC M-15 nominal mix 1.2.5.5 {(one cement: two and half sand: five graded hard stone aggregate 20 mm. (twenty millimeter) nominal size for plain concrete in foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification for rural roads August 2004 clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and hauling of in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Providing and laying PCC M20 reinforced cement concrete in sub-structure complete as per drawing and Technician Specification clause800, 1205.4 and 1205.5 and curing complete including the cost of form work and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Laying Reinforced Precast R.C.C. Box culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar but excluding excavation, protection works, backfilling concrete and masony work in head walls and parapets. Complete as per drawing & specification &dirction of Engineer -in-charge. ( Size 1.00 x1.00 mtr) (Nine hundred milimetre)

Laying Reinforced 900mm dia Cement Concrete Pipe NP2/ Prestressed Concrete Pipe for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation, protection works, backfilling concrete and masony work in head walls and parapets.as per dirction of Engineer -in-charge.

Compacting original ground supporting sub-grade Loosening of the ground upto a level of 500 mm below the Sub-grade level, watered, graded and compacted in layers to meet requirement of table 300-2 for sub-grade construction and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
