REPAIRS TO LEAKAGE/SEEPAGE, ROOF TREATMENT GUNITING CHAJJAS STRUCTURAL MEMBERS AND ASSOCIATED BR WORKS UNDER AGE BRI (W) OF GE (W) AGRA

Providing water proofing treatment over RCC roof including projection as follows :- (a) Complete removal of existing roof treatment of any description and in any position (b) The slab shall be finished with 10mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and smoooth (without using extra cement) mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer's instructions. The cement plaster shall be provided while the concrete of the slab in green (c) Apply a coat of bitumious primer conforming to IS-3384 @ 0.3 liter/Sqm on the prepared surface of plaster. After drying of primer, apply a coat of hot blown VG 20 paving grade (60-80 penetration) bitumen conforming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm of plastered surface. (d) Provide polymeric water proofing membrane ISI marked laid with overlaps, bonded with hot blown bitumen, end overlaps shall not be less than 150mm as side lap 75. Polymeric water proofing membrane should be five layered with centre core as 90 microns high molecular high density polythylene film Minimum weight of water proofing membrane shall be 3Kg per Sqm.

(d) Contd/-The contractor shall produce purchase vouchers and test certficate from the manufcture for the same. The products of following firms shall be used for water proofing membrane (i) Hyper Plus standard-Manufactred byM/S IWL India Ltd 755 LIG Flat Hest SAL New Delhi 110039 (ii) Multi Plus-Manufactured by M/S STP Texas Ltd, A-4/8, Ist Floor DLF city, Ph-I Gurgoan-1220002. (iii) Bengal Acquaflux-Bengal Bitumen, Sarita Vihar, New Dlhi (iv) Superior Poly Plus 310 by STP Ltd (e) Over the poly meric water proofing membrane apply semi hot blown VG 20 paving grade (60-80 penetration) bitumen conforming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm of roof surface and blinded with fine sand in dry condition @ 0.5 Kg/Sqm dusted over the bitumen coat (f) Covered fillet in PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 radius 75mm be provided at the junction of roof and vertical surface such as parapet wall/mumty/chimney around opening and treatment mentioned above except fine sand) shall be applied followed by a cement plaster 20mm thick in ceement mortar (1:6). Complete treatment shall be carried out by the applicator of the manufacturer of membrane. (g) Provide PCC padding 1:2:4 type B-0 of uniform thickness of 50mm in two layers of 25mm thickness each with chicken wire mesh 0.90mm dia and 12mmx12mm aperture, laid between two layers. Top surface of PCC padding shall be finished even and smooth without using extra cement and 12mmx12mm aperture with flase groove and 300x330mm centre to centre. Note 1. WPC will be measured and paid separately under respective item.

Dismantling, taking out & removing existing unserviceable plaster, loose/unsound weaken cement concerete etc M&L for applying one coat of epoxy resin (FAIR BOND EP FAIR BOND EP of Fairmate Constructions Chemical or equivalent as approved by GE) on old concrete surfaces of ceiling and beams, chhajja, stair case etc. @ 0.30 Kg/Sqm including preparation of surfaces as per manufacturer's instructions complete and applying 25mm thick (average thickness) of cement and sand (Fine grit) in ratio 1:3 mixed with chloride free spray concrete plastriciser (Spray crete or equivalent as approved by GE) as per manufacture instruction with guiniting machine of presser capacity not less than 5 Kg per sqcm and finished the surfaces even and smooth complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering in cement and sand mortar 1:4, 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering in cement and sand mortar 1:6, 10mm thick on fair faces of brick work, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only water proofing compound.

M&L for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint (snowcem) white or tinted over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls and applying applying two coat of distemper oil emulsion (washable) on wall over a coat of 1mm thick Birla Putty all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new plastered surface of wall and applying three coat of white wash complete all as specified and as directed

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) including removing rubbish outside MD land all as specified & as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) in roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas and similar suspended work including removing rubbish outside MD land complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles including removing rubbish outside MD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L brickwork with subclass ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement and sand mortar1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L brickwork with subclass ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement and sand mortar1:6 complete but expect bricks all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC (1:2:4), type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) in coping, chajjas kneelers apex stone and curves and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angle etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of mud or existing roof treatment of, any thickness, including plastering and leaping and tiling of any description whether part removal or full including removing rubbish outside MD land as specified and directed.

M&L mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over as in reinforcement, cut to length, bent to shape as required, including cranking, bending, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.90 mm dia complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F welded steel wire fabric weight not exc 4 Kg per Sqm as in extra reinforcement to RCC members including all cutting, bending and binding complete all as specified & as directed.

M & L cutting holes into or through brick wall built in cement mortar superfacial area not exc 150 Sqm cm and making good in cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B-1 as required complete all as specified and directed.

S&F mild steel joist channel angle or tee sections fixed independently with out connecting plates etcof grade fe-410-0 & fe 310-0 complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 5.0 cm thick sand stone slabs in sun shades, chajjas, shelves, roof slabs etc n.exc. 2m in length punched dressed on face and along exposed edges, self faced on other side and set and pointed in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing tanks, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in positionin 500 ltrs capacity hoisted and fixed in position complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and fixing in repair rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks, double layered with cover (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part I (Capacity in litres 500) complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down 20 mm bore steel tubing and connections including removal to store/ site and making good disturbed portion as required complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing 20 mm bore tubes medium grade galvanised, with all fitting and fixed complete to walls and ceilings, roofs or laid in floors complete all as specified and directed.

Refixing only 20 mm bore tubes medium grade galvanised, with all fitting and fixed complete to walls and ceilings, roofs or laid in floors complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair 110mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints, fixed to wall complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair 110 mm bore PVC (SWR) bends of any radius complete all as specified & directed.
