S & F for 1.25 mm Mild steel, plain, black sheet in steel gates, cut to size, holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel framing with plain 40 mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitred angles, etc. as required complete all as specified and directed.

Treatment of sunken floor slab comprises the following specificatons and all as specified :- (i) Demolition of existing treatment including tiling, concrete etc. (ii) M & L for cleaning the sunken/ lowered portion of RCC slab surface (including vertical total depth plus skirting height) of floors by wire brush,chisel out any mortar sticking to the surface and brooming completely. 40 mm thick avg PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5 mm graded aggregate as in padding concrete to achieve proper slope including 50 mm PVC pipe and cutting holes in bricks or RCC wall for spour. (iii) Rendering of uneven surface with 6mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with liquid water proofing compound @0.4 % by wt of cement consumed. Fill it with water and check dampness and seepage, where dampness /seepage is noticed, nozzles shall be fixed and grouting carried out. (iv) All junction points of side wall where CI/GI pipes are passing through shall be sealed with epoxy putty. (v) After drying putty, wash the slab and sides of sunken portion with water and make it clear and clean. (vi) M & L for applying two coats of polymer modified cementious water proof coating as per manufacturer's instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level +100 mm ht. The thickness of two layer shall be 1 mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface portion all as specified and directed. (vii) Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with liquid water proofing compound @ 0.4% by wt of cement consumed as per manufacturer's speciication incl rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout. Note: Test the water proofed area (ponding test) by filling water for at least 72 hrs and tested for leakage, seepage and to the entire satisfaction of GE. The treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicators of chemicals.(Cost of testing is included in the rates quoted). (viii) All pipes laid in sunken portion shall be covered with 50mm thick PCC 1:3:6 all round after painting with anti-corrosive paint( Black Japan). (ix) Two Nos of 50mm bore GI medium grade 600mm long spout shall be provided through external wall to drain out accumulated water.

M & L for joint free Non - skid Ceramic tiles 7-8 mm thick area of each tile exceeding 0.18 sqm but not exceeding 0.38 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles in 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

Treatment for damaged ceiling of roof or chajjas comprising the following specification and as directed :- (a) Dismantling and stripping the damaged concrete of Internal Roof plaster by light chiseling and other manual methods until damage surfaces clean up. That might affect adhesion are to be removed by wire brushing. The entire exposed surface shall be washed thoroughly with Clean water and then allowed to dry. (b) Exposing the corroded reinforcement completely along its full circumference, cleaned to remove all loose scale and corrosion deposit applying rust removing chemical followed by removing the rust by sand paper and cleaning the area thoroughly by water and allow it to dry. ( Dr. FIXIT / Fosroc / SIKA / REDWOP Chemicals ) (c) Supply and Application of Epoxy Zinc Rich primer on the Prepared Reinforced surface after electro welding of it’s sectional area by brush , the primer should have a minimum specific gravity 1.75. Minimum Wet film thickness /coat 100 microns & Dry film thickness / coat 40 microns. Minimum Adhesive bond strength with steel is 1.5 N/mm2. ( Dr. FIXIT / Fosroc / SIKA / REDWOP Chemicals ) (d) A general purpose Epoxy Bonding agent to be applied on the concrete surface before the application of free flow non-shrink cementitious micro concrete mortar. The bonding agent should have minimum compressive strength 40 N/mm2 as per BS6319 Part 7. Minimum Flexural Strength 25 N/mm2 as per BS 6319 Part 3 and minimum bond strength as per ASTM C88111 N/mm2 . ( Dr. Fixit / Fosroc / SIKA / REDWOP). (e) Supply and Apply non shrink highly consistent light weight high grade polymer modified repair mortar for vertical and over head cementitious patch work mortar system where local spelling has taken place or shuttering is not possible. The mortar can be applied from a minimum 5mm to 50mm thickness in vertical and overhead applications. The mortar should have a minimum compressive strength 35 N/mm2 in 7 days and 45 N/mm2 in 45 days. Minimum flexural strength should be 6.5 N/mm2 in 28days. (f) Supply and Apply, covering plaster up to 10 mm thick with mixing ratio 1- 4 Cement / Sand, adding adhesives (Butadiene Styrene Emulsion), for smooth finishing on after Application of non shrink highly consistent light weight high grade polymer modified repair mortar . ( Dr. FIXIT / Fosroc / SIKA / REDWOP Chemicals )

Treatment for parapet wall comprising the following specification and as directed :- (a) Dismantling and stripping the damaged concrete of entire Parapet wall , Fascia etc by light chiseling & other manual methods until sound concrete surfaces comes up. Any trace of loose plaster, oil, grease, and funguses if any or other materials that might affect adhesion are to be removed by wire brushing. The entire exposed surface shall then be washed thoroughly with Clean water and then allowed to dry. (b) Exposing the corroded reinforcement completely along its full circumference, cleaned to remove all loose scale and corrosion deposit applying rust removing chemical followed by removing the rust by sand paper and cleaning the area thoroughly by water and allow it to dry.( Dr. Fixit / Fosroc / SIKA / REDWOP ) (c) Supply and Application of Epoxy Zinc Rich primer on the Prepared Reinforced surface after electro welding of it’s sectional area by brush , the primer should have a minimum specific gravity 1.75. Minimum Wet film thickness /coat 100 microns & Dry film thickness / coat 40 microns. Minimum Adhesive bond strength with steel is 1.5 N/mm2. ( Dr. Fixit / Fosroc / SIKA / REDWOP ) (d) M & L formwork of smooth finish surfaces of Fascia, Parapet Wall incl. fixing and striking out after pouring of concrete at all levels with necessary Bamboo staging. (e) A modified Styrene Butadiene Emulsion for use as a bonding aid and gauging liquid for cementitious system to be mixed with cement slurry before the application of two component micro concrete to be used @ 5 Ltr./bag of cement. The bonding agent should have minimum compressive strength 24 N/mm2 . ( Dr. Fixit / Fosroc / SIKA / REDWOP). (f) Supply and Application Two component high build polymer modified cementitious reinstatement mortar where local spelling has taken place or shuttering is not possible. The Mortar can be applied in thicknesses from 15mm to 40mm thickness in vertical and 25mm in overhead situations. The Mortar should have a minimum Compressive strength 7 N/mm2 in 1 Day and 20 N/mm2 in 28days. Minimum Flexural strength should be 4.5 N/mm2 in 28 days.
