REPAIRS TO MANGALORE TILES, HARDSTANDING, WATER PROOFING OF NIRMAN VIHAR, QG, RS RD AND CERTAIN MISC AREAS IN THE AREA OF AGE B/R (CENTRAL) UNDER GE (NORTH) PUNE

Complete removal of existing water proofing treatment of any thickness and cement mortar screed in existing roof including scrapping out old treatment/ bitumen etc. The roof surface shall be thoroughly wire brushed, cleaned to eliminate all sharp projections, washed, dried up and cleaned of all foreign material, dust including flushings at junctions of wall, to receive new water proofing treatment and removal of rubbish off the premises to a distance exc. 500m and not exc 1.5 Km complete all as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded broken stone aggregate) as in roof padding as leveling course on roof slab and haunching/ coping including finishing the surface of concrete even and fair to receive screed, using Integral liquid water proofing compound as per maufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and as directed. NOTES: 1. Integral liquid water proofing compound shall be measured and paid for separately. 2. The rate quoted should be inclusive of Machinery required for handling of materials.

Material and labour for water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab complete all as specified below and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge including testing :-(a) On the dried plastered surface, one coat of approved bituminous primer @ 0.25 Kg/Sqm shall be applied. (b) one coat of hot bitumen of hot blown bitumen of 85/25 shall be applied @1.20 kg/Sqm over primered surface (c) APP modified bituminous memberance 3mm thick with non woven polyster mat as reinforcement weighing not less than 3.50 Kg/Sqm with plain finish shall be laid by torch application method over the hot bitumen to make it sandwitched with bitumen on roof surfaces (d) Apply two coats of bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.15 Kg/Sqm. (e) The overlap while torching shall be at least 100mm at the longitudinal edges and 150mm at the ends. (f) The treatment shall be carried as per manufacturer instructions through authorised applicater and he should be able to furnish stage wise on site technical reports from the concerned company technologist. (g) The contractor shall furnish 10 years performance warranty as per particular specifications.

M&L Rendering 10mm thick in Cement Mortar (1:4) on roof surface finished even and fair using integral liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: Integral liquid water proofing compound shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supply only Integral liquid waterproofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing tanks, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position including cleaning and removing all scale, dirt etc from tanks, mouths of circulating pipes for capacity of tank exc.500 litres and n.exc. 1000 litres complete all as directed

All as per serial item No. 7 here-in-before but for tank capacity exc. 250 litres and n.exc. 500 litres

Fixing only for 15mm bore steel water tubing 'medium grade' galvanised, with all fittings and fixed to walls and ceiling or laid in floors including cleaning for refixing including taking up or down steel tubing and connections complete all as specified and as directed.

Fixing only 20mm bore steel water tubing 'medium grade' galvanised, with all fittings and fixed to walls and ceiling or laid in floors including cleaning for refixing including taking up or down steel tubing and connectionscomplete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix for 15mm bore steel water tubing 'medium grade' galvanised, with all fittings and fixed to walls and ceiling or laid in floors including taking up or down steel tubing and connectionscomplete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 20mm bore steel water tubing 'medium grade' galvanised, with all fittings and fixed to walls and ceiling or laid in floors including taking up or down steel tubing and connectionscomplete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for removing of plants, bushes, weeds with roots from walls, roofs, chajja, canopy, parapets, roof kerbs, around water tanks, stagings, outlets junctions of water pipe lines, waste water pipe, bends or as directed and filling the disturbed area with cement concrete (1:1.5:3) or cement motar (1:3) using water proofing compound as per manufacturer's instructions and making the patch finished as per existing surroundings complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Rate quoted is deemed to be included for scaffolding, safety measures required for working on or up to the height of 15 metres vertical or steep slopes)

Supply and fix for 500 litres capacity, rotational moulded polythelene water storage tanks (ISI marked) (cylindrical vertical with closed top), hoisted and fixed in postion including ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated Aluminium rod and high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe 25mm bore (minimum weight 455gms) and fixed and connected fittings including dismantling existing water tank complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix for 1000 litres capacity, rotational moulded polythelene water storage tanks (ISI marked) (cylindrical vertical with closed top), hoisted and fixed in postion including ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated Aluminium rod and high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe 25mm bore (minimum weight 455gms) and fixed and connected fittings including dismantling existing water tank complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for roof tiles Mangalore pattern interlocking at side joints, laid dry class A-A including dismantling single layer Mangalore pattern tiles or similar tiles in roofing complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per serial item No.18.00 here-in-before but except tiles.

Material and labour for ridge or hip tiles to suit Mangalore pattern of roofing tiles, bedded and jointed in cement mortar (1:6) etc. including demolition of existing ridge or hip tiles bedded in cement mortar complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix for 2nd class hardwood clean sawn tile battens, cross sectional area exc15 and n.exc 25 sqcm spaced at 30 cm centres to centres fixed with nails including dismantling existing battens for tiles of any size and description including tilting fillets complete all as specified and as directed. (NOTE : Measurements shall be taken overall including both battens and spaces. Deductions shall be made only for openings exceeding 0.4 sqm each).

All as per serial item No.21 here-in-before but except battens complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Serviceable materials obtained from dismantled item shall be re-used.)

Material and labour for 2nd class hard wood, clean sawn, in scantlings timber fixed unframed work including dismantling timber scantlings 40 Sqcm and over in section in unframed work in any position complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per serial item No.23 here-in-before but except timber complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Serviceable materials obtained from dismantled shall be re-used.)

Material and labour for preparation of battens, any size and spacing and treated all over (measured and paid overall on one side only, spaces not deducted) with two coats of creosote oil complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Eaves/ weather boarding with 20mm thick fibre cement board (non asbestos) and fixed with self drilling and tapping screws of CSK head and joints finished with jointing compound and fiber tape as per manufacturer's recommendation complete of approved arch pattern any size and shape including dismantling of wooden boarding any description and in any positioncomplete all as specified and as directed. Dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings complete all as directed.

Supply and fix for 0.63mm thick galvanised, corrugated mild steel sheeting with two corrugations side lap, fixed with coach screws and washers, in roofs, walls etc with grade of zinc coating 120gms/ Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per serial item No. 28 here-in-before but except sheeting.

Supply and fix in repairs 0.56mm thick plain, Aluminium sheeting, alloy 31000H4 in ridges, hips, valley gutter, crumple joint, drip and straight flashing (length and girth as fixed) complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix for aluminium powder coated louvered ventilator with provision of exhaust fan using ‘Jindal' aluminium section or of equivalent make as specified including glass 3mm thick ordinary quality, frosted and stainless steel wire mesh 0.36mm dia wire and 1.40mm aperture etc. including taking down old ventilator/ shutter of any descriptioncomplete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix for aluminium powder coated three track sliding window with two glazed shutters with 4mm thick float glass ordinary quantity and one shutter of stainless steel wire mesh 0.36 mm dia wire and 1.40mm aperture including good quality of bearing handle, locks, PVC rubber lining etc complete all as specified and as directed. Catlouge numbers of Jindal company or equivalent make Including taking down old window/shutters of any description complete all as specified and directed. Sections of Jindal company : Three track bottom – 20957, Three track top/vertical – 20958,Handle – 20606, Interlocking – 20605, Top and bottom – 20604.

Dismantling asbestos cement (plain, corrugated, semi corrugated etc.) sheets or any other sheets in roof coverings complete all as directed.

Dismantling of wall/ceiling board of any description and any thickness including cover fillets/ grid etc complete all as directed.

Dismantling of structural steel work of any description including doors, gates, framed trusses etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix for mild steel work in tubular trusses for structural work including special shaped washer etc. complete using hollow mild steel sections of square or rectangular tubes conforming to IS: 4923-1997 complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix for rolled mild steel roof trusses (framed), trussed, purlins, crane gantries, rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) including distance pieces, cleats etc. conforming Fe 410-W(Gde-E-250) quality-A complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description over 10cm girth or width not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix for 0.50mm thick pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix for fibre glass reinforced translucent corrugated sheeting 2.00 mm thick with two corrugations side lap fixed with coach screw and washer in roof, wall etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 12mm thick mineral fibre false ceiling board of size 600 mm x 600 mm on and including GI powder coated grid work with using 32mm x 23.5mm x 1.5 mm thick main tee, 23.5 mm x 23.5 mm x 1.28 mm cross tee and 23.5mm x 23.5mm x 1.5mm angle fixed to wall for false ceiling including necessary supporting hanger with 3.0mm dia GI wire and 'J' bolts washer nuts for securing frame work to ceiling, suspended @ 120 cm C/C both ways, size of grid shall be 605 mm x 605 mm including dismantling of ceiling board of any description and any thickness including cover fillets/ grid etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Make :- Armstrong, Diaken, New Age (ACE).

Note : 1. Rerformance security:- Refer Condition 22 of Special Conditions 2. Quoted Contract Sum shall be arrived at after deducting the amount of Credit Schedule (refer Schedule of Credit in pdf form for quantity, rate and amount etc.) for old unserviceable materials retrieved from site.
