REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF GEYSERS AND ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL PLUMBING WORKS AT ITARANA AND CITY AREA, ITARANA MILITARY STATION UNDER GE ALWAR

Taking down carefully existing unserviceable water storage type electric geyser, 25 litre capacity, of any type and make, from wall after disconnecting water and electrical connections, including dismantling, handling and safe removal, and reinstallation after repair at the same location, including reconnection of water and electrical connections, testing and commissioning, complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Repair/replacement of unserviceable accessories/parts shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items here-in-after. (ii) Tradesman with helper shall be detailed by the contractor for collection of complaints from MES Complaint Cell/Service Centre daily in the morning and completion/rectification of defect/repair of geyser shall be reported in the evening on the same day to Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) Delay in rectification of defects shall be penalised at Rs 500/- per day for each day from the date of intimation of complaint to the contractor.

S&F in repair corrosion-resistant flange assembly (apparatus plate), ISI marked, made of mild steel or brass as per existing, suitable for water storage type electric geyser of 25/50 litre capacity, including nuts, bolts, gasket and drain dead nut, including taking down old unserviceable item, cleaning, refixing and testing, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Rate shall include taking down and refixing of geyser, if required at site, at the same position and cleaning of water tank using suitable cleaning agent, if required at site.

S&F in repair indicator lamps, green and red colour, square/round type as per existing, including connection wires and necessary accessories, suitable for 25/50 litre capacity geyser working on 230 Volt AC supply, including taking down old unserviceable item, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair water vessel/tank, cylindrical shape and size as per existing, heavy duty corrosion-resistant, fabricated from 22 SWG stainless steel sheet, complete with flange for flange assembly, vent pipe connection and glass wool insulation, suitable for 25 litre capacity geyser, including taking down old unserviceable item, fitting, sealing, reconnection and testing, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair thermostatic switch, ISI marked, temperature range 0°C to 75°C, suitable for 25/50 litre capacity geyser, including taking down old unserviceable item, electrical connections, adjustment and testing, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Shape of temperature-sensitive element shall be as per site requirement. Make: AI/Theeta/Hotmax.

S&F in repair heating element, round/triangular/threaded/hole type as per site requirement, capacity 2 kW, suitable for 25/50 litre capacity geyser, including rubber washer, bolts, clamps and all necessary accessories, taking down old unserviceable item, fitting, electrical connection and testing, complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Shape of heating element shall be as per site requirement. (ii) Rate shall include taking down and refixing of geyser, if required at site, at the same position and cleaning of water tank using suitable cleaning agent, if required at site. Make: Theeta/Hotmax/Ralson/Orient/Racold/Marc or equivalent.

S&F in repair pressure release valve/safety plug, spring-loaded, brass, chromium plated, ISI marked, suitable for 25/50 litre capacity geyser, including taking down old unserviceable item, fitting, sealing and testing, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair PVC braided connection pipe, 450 mm long, suitable for 15 mm bore GI pipe, including 2 Nos CP nuts and washers at both ends, suitable for hot water connection, including taking down old unserviceable item, fitting and testing, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair PVC braided connection pipe, 600 mm long, suitable for 15 mm bore GI pipe, including 2 Nos CP nuts and washers at both ends, suitable for cold water connection, including taking down old unserviceable item, fitting and testing, complete all as specified and directed.
