Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, up to a lead of 1000 metres including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness. RCD-2.03

Filling in foundation trenches and plinth in layers. Not exceeding 150 mm thick well watered, rammed fully compacted and fine dressed with earth obtained after cutting within a lead of 50 M and lift of 1.5 M all complete as per building specification and direction of E/I (Mode of measurement compacted volume) BCD-5.1.7

Earth work in flood embankment, canalbanks as well as special repair of embankment in canal bank in grade in grade A&B types of soil (vide soil- A and B) in proper profile excavation by hydraulic m/c and carriage by tipper truck obtained from borrow area or any other sources free from logs, roots, or any other ingredients with all lifts including breaking clods to maximum 60 mm size, placing earth in layers not exceding 225 mm thick all complete as per building specification and direction of E/I. WRD-7.1.26.2
