Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 metre wide and not exc. 1.5 metre deep for foundation of poles,stays or for taking out/laying of cables and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specied and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading , leveling , watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 Cm in soft/loose soil, complete all as specied and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Removing excavated material in soft/loose soil n.exc-50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point, complete all as specied and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L for sand cushning to underground cable with clean dry river sand in layers of 23cm thick (8 cm before laying the cable and 15 cm thick after laying the cable) in trenches including watering and consolidiation, complete all as specied and directed by Engineer in Charge. Supply and laying of sub class 'B' bricks locally available of best quality old size, laid flat (length of brick laied across the length of cable) in trenches for the protection of under ground cable, complete all as specied and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L Earthing complete with galavanised steel earth plate electrode 60x60cmx6mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.25 mtr below normal ground level, connected to galavanised 32x6mm earth strip by means of nuts, bolts, washer of GI steel as shown on electrical plant No 3 of MES schedule part I connected to earthing test point and testing on completion with including necessary excavation and earth work, earth electrode, earthing lead from electrode to equipment/substantion, adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt, test point, PCC 1:3:6 type C-I (using 20mm graded black trap/granite/basalt stone aggregate) for earth pit with 40x40x6mm mild steel angle iron frame for cover ,precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-I (using 20mm graded black trap/granite/Basalt stone aggregate) 40mm thick cover reinforced with 6 mm dia bars 3 Nos both way with 12mm dia round bar handle , GI light grade earth lead protection pipe 7.5 mtr long from the top of earth electrode are deemed to be included under this item and additional earth lead, if any, required at site shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of schedule “A” complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Horizontal boring in soft/loose soil/under roads of any width by manual arrangements for inserting GI pipe up to 100mm bore for passing cables complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- GI pipe shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply & laying steel tubing, galvanized light grade 50 mm bore, for passing LT/HT cable under road or PCC floor or fixed on wall/on pole or drain etc or whenever protection is required including necessary clamps and nut bolts with GI fitting complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
