SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I Preparing the crater of the runway by Excavation, cleaning and making upto required size and up-heaved surronding area including filling the crater using excavated eartyh mixed with boulder/RBM of required size and compacted in layer n.exc 25cm thick each layer including watering and well ramming with vibrator compactor etc complete all as specifed and directed by Engr-in-charge

Preparing the crater of the runway by cleaning and filling with GSB materials (RBM), 25mm thick and compacted with vibrator compactor, watered and well rammed complete all as specifed and directed by Engr-in-charge

Material and labour for 200 mm (compacted thickness) wet mix macadum (WMM) in single layers with premixing coarse aggregate of 40mm to 75 micron with water at optimum moisture content in mechanical mix plant, spread, rolled and consolidated using power roller 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achive the desired density, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Preparation of wet mix macadum (WMM) surface by air blower and sweeping with broom or any suitable mechanical equipment and fainally fanning the surface to remove all loose dirt etc and applying cationic bitumen emulsion @ 10 Kg / 10 Sqm on WMM surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supplying and Laying of bituminous emulsion (cationic type) over existing runway and connecting road approaching to main runway (flexible portion) @ 5 Kg of emulsion per 10 square meter with 100 % dilution (diluted quantity 10 Kg) applied in thin layer by using painting brush or by mechanical sprayer including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete, 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of Grade VG-30, rolled and compacted, mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and pre-mixed material laid by using mechanical paver, finished including rolling to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to required compaction complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting grass and all vegetation etc along the shoulders of runway, taxi track, runway approach and maneuver area of runway, stacking into heaps and removing off the premises, outside of Ministry of Defence land complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- The work shall be carried out as an when ask by The Engr-in-Charge in writing within the contract period.)

Cleaning of sides of drain in runway, by removing all vegetation, roots, silt etc and removing the spoil to a distance exceeding 250 meter but not exceeding 500 meter comlete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning of surface channel or drain of runway, girth not exceeding 30cm by removing all deposited silt, mud etc and removing the spoil to a distance exceeding 250 meter but not exceeding 500 meter complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge
