Uprooting rank vegetation and weeds by digging the area to a depth of 60 cm , removing all weeds and other growth with roots by forking including disposal of all rubbish with all leads and lifts. (Based on CPWD DSR 2013, Item no 23.12)

Technical/scientific excavation to be done manually (trench depth upto 6 mtr) by way of carefully digging all along of the heritage structure. It also includes to avoid any damage to the heritage structure or structure underneath, without causing any vibrations and jerks to the superstructure. It also includes duly constructing centring, struting & form work to avoid any untoward incident and getting out the excavated material manually head lead approx. 50 mtr away from site. (Analysis already approved by DG ASI as per file no 39-08/2017- conservation dated 16.11.2017)

Cleareance of debris around and adjoining the heritage building by excavion upto depth 1.5mt to 2.0 mtr carefully without damaging the buried archaeological parts of the building and collect all the intct parts at proper place for reuse at the time of restoration work as per direction of engineer in charge. (Analysis as per INTACH SOR (Schedule of rates) for building and conservation works january 2016, item code 1.1)

B-Dismantling Works Demolishing lime concrete manually/by mechanical means and disposal of material within 50 meters lead as per direction of engineer in charge. (Based on CPWD DSR 2019 , item no 15.1)

Dismantling stone slab (damage and decayed) laid in lime/cement mortar including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 meters lead. (Analysis as per INTACH SOR (Schedule of rates) for building and conservation works january 2016, item code 12.4)

C- Flooring works Providing and laying lime concrete in the ratio of 1:1:1:4 ( 1 Lime : 1 Surkhi : 1 Coarse sand : 4 Brick ballast 25 mm nominal size) mixed with Gur/Sheera and Belgiri etc including ramming with wooden dhurmut. (Analysis as per INTACH SOR for (Schedule of rates) building and conservation works january 2016, item code 4.4.)

40 mm thick fine dressed stone flooring over 20 mm (average) thick base of lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 lime: 1 surkhi:1coarse sand) with joints finished flush. (Analysis as per INTACH SOR for building and conservation works january 2016, item code 7.7)

D-Masonry works Reconsolidation works Stone consolidation‐removing the loose/damaged stone and reconsolidating with new stone (matching with original)/reusable stone with lime mortar lime mortar 1:1:1 ( 1 Lime : 1 Surkhi : 1 coarse sand) wherever necessary. (Analysis as per INTACH SOR (Schedule of rates) for building and conservation works january 2016, item code 6.11)

Restoration of missing portion/patch repair with underpinning method by using bond stone techinque. Random rubble masonry with hard stones in foundation and plinth including levelling with lime concete (1 lime:3surkhi:6 coarse sand) with 20mm stone aggregate upto plinth level with lime mortar 1:1:1(1Lime: 1Surkhi:1Coarse sand). (Analysis as per INTACH SOR (Schedule of rates) for building and conservation works january 2016, item code 6.1)

Stone work in plain ashlar masonry in superstructure (bawali) in lime mortar 1:1:1 ( 1 Lime : 1 Surkhi : 1 coarse sand) including pointing with lime mortar and admixtureof pigment matching the stoneshade. (Based on CPWD DSR 2019, Item no 7.12.1)

E-Plaster Works 30‐40mm lime plaster in two coats with 20mm base coat in lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 lime : 1 Surkhi :1 Coarse Sand) and top coat in lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 lime : 1 Surkhi :1 Fine Sand). (Analysis as per INTACH SOR (Schedule of rates) for building and conservation works january 2016, item code 9.5)

Repairing ornamental plaster works to match with the existing design using lime plaster (1lime putty:1surkhi : 1 fine sand). (Analysis as per INTACH SOR (Schedule of rates) for building and conservation works january 2016, item code 9.10)

F - Miscellaneous Works Construction of tanks of different sizes for slaking of lime and making lime putty as per archaelogical specification. Brick Work with common burnt clay F.P.S (non modular ) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth in: Cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand) (As per CPWD SOR- 2019, Item no 6.1.1)

Provision for hiring (for 6 months) of special type of lime mortar mill (pan type) electrical/mechnical for thorough grinding & mixing of lime mortar and making lime putty as per site requirement. (NS)

Providing, erecting, maintaining and removing temporary protective screens made out of specified fabric with all necessary fixing arrangement to ensure that it remains in position for the work duration as required by the Engineer-in-charge. (As per CPWD DSR- 2019, Item no 26.36)

Removal of blackening, old sulphated lime wash in multiple application without causing damage to the below plastered surface. Scrubbing (not by scraping which leaves surfaces scarred and scratched ) with bristle brushes and hot water ( Care to be taken if the surface is weak one it will break down). Hot water should be used if the blackening/limewash has an oil or tallow binder. Gentle cleaning with air abrasive tools can be used if the wall surface is not very week.The final clean will almost invariably have to be carried out by hand scrubbing and rinsed with clean water on completion. The work should be done under supervision of a trained conservator. (Analysis as per INTACH SOR for building and conservation works january 2016, item code2.1)

Documenation Work: Photo Documentation of the entire site. Photographer to be there at site to document the exiting condition, onging site work and after the completion work. Note: If there is a requirement of videography, then it will cost eaxtra as per acutual market rates. i) Exiting site condition

Architectural drawings including plans, sections and elevations Hiring for architect for detail documentation of site, showing condition mapping, material extent drawing, conservation drawings as required in conservation work and a per archaeological conservation norms. i) Senior Architect

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven storey height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffoldings for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. NOTE:- To be used for maintenance work judicially necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done. (As per CPWD DSR- 2019, Item no 24.2)

Pumping out water from bawali very very carefully to avoid any damage to the heritage structure or structure underneath, without causing any vibrations and jerks to the superstructure. (As per CPWD DSR - 2019 item no 14.23)

Removal of mosses, muddy, slushy silt mixed with bricks/stone pieces, animal/brid dropings, monkey beats, garbage, plastic bags etc away from site manually lift upto 10-12 meters and lead upto 50 meters from site for further disposal by mechanical means. It also include excavating/ scopping out hardend silt from the surface and cavities with the scopping rods and other equpiments. (NS)

For Coping: Providing and laying lime concrete excluding cost of centring and shuttering. With graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size and mortar comprising of 1 Slaked lime :1 surkhi : 1 fine sand. (As per INTACH SOR January 2016 Item no 4.1.1 & CPWD DSR 2019 item no 4.2)

Repointing of raked out joints of Ranodm rubble masonry by using lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 Lime: 1 Coarse sand : 1 Brick Zeera). (Analysis as per INTACH SOR for building and conservation works january 2016, item 9.14 & CPWD DSR 2019 item no 24.5) Material cost are as per prevailing market rate specially used for restoration & conservation work of heritage buildings as per different site conditions and requirements and Labour rates are as per DM Mahendragarh, Narnaul.
