Excavating in trenches in soft / loose soil, n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth: for foundation, etc. Or for shafts, wells, cessapits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n.exc 10 Sq.m on plan and in.exc 1.5m in depth and getting out all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Excavating in trenches in soft / loose soil, additional 1.5m wide and part thereof in depth beyond the first1.5m in depth for foundation,laying of pipe line complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cms in any type of soil all as specified and as directed

Removing excavated matrial to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above starting point in soil.

Cleaning and repalcement of exisisting filter media (filter bed capacity 15000 glns/hr) materials such as fine sand, core sand, small, medium and large pebbles and provision of new materials like fine sand and core sand in filterbed. Cleaning of sediment with bleaching powder slurry and clear water including discarding of unusable filter media and disposing off same to a distance exc 500m and exc 1km, scrapping the internal surface of filter bed with wire brush, cleaning with bleaching powder slurry, washing all surfaces with fresh water and refilling filter media complete all as specified and directed. Filter bed size - (3.9m x 3.00m x 1.32m). Note: Filter media shall be measured and paid as supply only under relevant item.

Dismantling incomming line to the filter tank of capacity 1000 LPH at Chouldhari by unscrewing bolts & nuts, taking out filter media like sand, gravels & pebbles cleaning with wire brush using bleaching powder and washing complete with clean water. Supply and replacing filter media and PVC nozzels in position as required. Refixing incoming pipe line connections with new steel bolts & nuts, new flange joint, testing & commisioning complete to the satisfaction of Engg-in -charge. 02 Nos filter. Note :Sand, gravels & pebbles will be measured and paid seperately under relevent items.

M & L for paintng to external surface of Pressure filter plant unit (size 1.5 mtr dia 1.8 mtr height at Chouldhari Pump house -2Nos) including connected pipes, valves etc. with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of sky blue colour/shade duly matching with the existing paint including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L in replacement of 100mm bore DI pipe class K-7 with socket and spigot ends centrifugally cast (spun) with cement mortar lining inside and zinc coated outside with blue epoxy coating as per IS 8329/2000 in available lengths suitable for push on tyton joints (rubber gasket D jointing) laid in trenches complete all as specified and as directed. (At Chouldari MES Qtrs.)

Supply and lay in replacement of DI pipes grade K-9 with Spigot socketed ends centrifugally cast in any length of size 250mm bore complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay in replacement of DI pipes grade K-9 with Spigot socketed ends centrifugally cast in any length of size 350mm bore complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay in replacement of DI pipes grade K-9 with Spigot socketed ends centrifugally cast in any length of size 400mm bore complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for provision of washout pipe in existing Raw water UG sumps at prothrapur filteration plant by cutting/drilling hole in UG sumps wall by inserting / fixing puddle flange 250mm bore connected to washout pipe 250mm bore (UG sumps of capacity 2 Lakhs GLN) with nuts & bolts and making good the disturbed portion using cement concrete 1:1½:3 nominal mix using 20 mm graded stone aggregates including plastering of surfaces for water proofing complete, filling water and testing for leakage all as specified and directed. Note:-1. Excavation & PCC shall be measured and paid separatly. 2. CI pipe and CI Special shall be measured and paid separatly.

M&L for Servicing of Sluice valve by removing nut and taking out spindle for turning on Lathe machine at workshop, replacement of necessary spare parts and refixing at original position after service complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes:-

M&L for attending break down complaint by execavating in muddy condition by using earthmoving machinery / labour ( for pipe line from chouldhari to Prothrapur) and forming bund with excavated mud to avoid sea water/ raw water entering into the working area including pumping/bailing out water by using portable diesel engine driven pumpset complete all as directed and including the following :- (i) Cutting of CI/DI pipe of size 350 mm dia after thorough inspection for the damage. (ii) Taking out DI pipe after removing from tyton joints at both ends and keeping aside for further disposal. (iii) Transporting DI pipe of size 350 mm dia to the site from Chouldhari dam, cutting the pipe into two pieces as per requirement and laying in the trenches. (iv) Jointing 350mm dia pipe to the corresponding socket and spigot ends of the existing pipeline by using rubber tyton rings after aligning the pipe line as per site condition, inserting the CI collar of size 350 mm dia complete all as directed. Note : (i) The quoted rate is deemed to include cost towards tools and plants and transportation required for attending the repair work. (ii) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusives of additional soil required for refilling/ making bunds to prevent raw water/ sea water entering into the work place including RFR and removal if any complete. (iii) The cost of pipes, specials, Tyton/lead joints shall be measured and paid seperately under relevent item of this schedule. (iv) Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

Supply and fix in replacement foot valve Heavy duty cast iron body conforming to IS fitted in position including rubber/leather gasket, nuts & bolts and washers with synthetic metal ball complete including dismantling of unserviceable valve all as directed for the following sizes:-

S&F in replacement 250mm bore MS ERW pipe, flanged ends, heavy duty inlcuding nut bolts, washer and gasket of suitable size and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of metal primer, testing complete for suction / delivery pipes all as specified and as directed.

M&L for MS ERW pipe fittings such as bends and reducers 250mm dia both side flanged complete.

Supply only alum (non ferric), crystal type also called aluminium sulphate (non ferric) conforming to IS: 299/1989, colour white, chemical formula Al2(SO4)3, having water soluble aluminium compounds (as Al2O3) % by weight 17% min, soluble iron compounds (as Fe) % by weight 0.01% max, PH (of 5% solution) not less than 2.8, insoluble matter % by weight 0.3% max, in 50 Kg bags complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-In-charge. Supply only CALCIUM HYPO CHLORITE - 65 to 70 % chlorine content (calcium based granular or in tablet form disinfectant more stable than chlorine gas) in 45 Kg plastic drums, properly closed & sealed for treatment of water at water supply installations.

Supply only Bleaching powder conforming to IS 1065-89 (Revised) in 25 Kg Plastic drum, properly closed & sealed for treatment of water at water supply installations.

Supply only lime in dust form, best quality suitable for treating raw water in 25/50 Kg bag.

M & L for Repair/maint of Clariflocculator bridge Reduction gear box and motor disconnecting electric connections shifting the Reduction gear box assembly to local workshop for repairs complete. Removing all parts like bearing bushes, penion, etc. cleaning all rusted surface and scales formed inside /outside reduction gear box, replacing the worn out parts by lath work, cutting welding brazing such as roller bearing, gear, oil seal, bush, bolts and nuts including cleaning, oiling and greasing. Aligning the reduction gear box in proper position and painting with one coat of anti-corrosive paint over red oxide primer and testing and commissioning for smooth running condition all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge .

Supply and fill gear oil HP-90.

Supply and fix in replacement oil seal of reduction gear box of greaves make all as specified.

S&F in replacement of MS coupling with rubber( spider type) L-276 suitable for 165 /125/100 Hp pump sets complete all as specified and as directed..

Servicing of existing centrifugal pump of capacity 170/ 165 Hp (as per manufacture instructions) by disconnecting motor and pump set, pipe line and removing of all parts like bearing, bushes, impeller, shaft etc cleaning all rusted surfaces and scales formed inside/out side pumpset etc cleaning, oiling, greasing at proper places and re-fixing with oil paper packing in position, duly aligned with motor with all serviceable parts incl painting with one coat of anti corrosive paint over red oxide primer and writing MES /SM No, testing and commissioning all as directed by Engr-in-charge. Notes: Item requireing replacement if found unserviceable shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and fixing in replacement suction diffusers 250 x 200 mm heavy duty, pressure rating 2A PN 16 bar, including nut bolts, washer and gasket of suitable size complete all as specified and as directed.
