| 1.01 | Providing and Laying Reinforced cement concrete of grade M-30 in super structure conforming to IS 456-2000 and 13920 latest edition, at all floors and levels for all structural members in all geometrical shapes/ design as per drawings using graded stone aggregate of 20mm and down graded including machine mixing, conveying, placing in position, mechanical consolidation, finishing, curing, etc. complete all as per drawings, specifications & as directed by Engineer in Charge.
Notes for RCC Works:
a) All RCC works ( Staircase cap, Overhead water tanks, Lift pardi and top slab / beam / columns / any other works at appropriate height) shall be controlled concrete unless otherwise specified and shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.
b) The water tank work shall be as per IS 3370-2009 latest edition
c) The rates for RCC works shall be exclusive of cost of reinforcement and form work unless otherwise mentioned.
d) All coarse aggregate to be 20mm maximum size and uniformly graded unless otherwise mentioned.
e) For all RCC items, the rates quoted shall include the following without any extra cost to the Dept.
i) Spacers/cover blocks of same grade to maintain clear cover for reinforcement.
ii) Fixing at correct level and in proper alignment the inserts, pipe sleeves, pipe bends, hooks, other pipe specials etc. supplied by/ through the Department.
iii) Cut out in slabs, construction joints etc.
f) Test for concrete shall be done as per IS 456-2000 and the cost of the same shall be borne by the contractor.

| 1.02 | Extra for providing RMC (Ready Mixed Concrete) conforming to IS :4926 (latest) in lieu of conventional RCC and PCC items supplied by approved RMC manufacturers for all type of structural elements/ RCC/ PCC elements including transporting, pumping etc. complete as per instruction of the Engineer in charge.
Notes: i) The contractor shall obtain prior approval for RMC manufacturer from Engineer in Charge in writing.
ii) The rate shall apply for all levels and locations including all type of structure etc.

| 1.05 | Providing and applying Cement plaster using READY MIX Plaster (RMP) of approved manufacturer in double coat over concrete/ masonry surfaces in CM 1:4 of thickness inside water tanks to correct line, level, plane, plumb etc., finished smooth with neat cement finish, including preparing the surface, scaffolding, curing etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.-20 mm thick smooth finish in two coats on concrete surfaces with water proofing agent @ 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturers specifications - plastering for inside surface of water tank. | 150 | Sqm | - | - |
| 1.06 | Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc consisting of following operations:
(a) Applying a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS. 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over the RCC slab including adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including cleaning the surface before treatment.
(b) Laying brick bats with mortar using broken bricks/brick bats 25 mm to 115 mm size with 50% of cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over 20 mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1 cement :5 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs.
(c) After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry using 2.75 kg/ sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge.
(d) Finishing the surface with 20 mm thick jointless cement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement :4 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge including laying glass fibre cloth of approved quality in top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300x300 mm square 3 mm deep.
(e) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test. “All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by the Engineer-in-Charge”: 22.7.1 With average thickness of 120 mm and minimum thickness at khurra as 65 mm. | 60 | Sqm | - | - |

| 1.08 | Providing and laying autoclaved aerated cement blocks masonry with 115mm/ 150mm/ 230mm thick AAC blocks as per approved manufacturer, using approved block laying polymer modified adhesive mortar in super structure above plinth level at all locations, levels & lead with RCC band at sill level and lintel level all complete as per direction of Engineer in-Charge. (The payment of RCC band and reinforcement shall be made for separately) Notes:
a) The contractor shall get approved the samples of autoclaved aerated cement blocks from the Engineer-In-Charge before procurement on large scale and shall maintain the same for the entire work.
b) Necessary Openings/ nitches/ pipe sleeves/ cut-outs, wherever required as per drawings and asked for by the Engineer-In-Charge, shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost.
c) Masonry wall thickness shall be considered as 230mm/ 150mm/ 115mm thick and lesser wall thickness if any shall be made up to the required dimensions by the contractor in CM 1:4 using Ready Mix Mortar to proper line, level and plumb without any extra cost to the Department.
d) The rate shall include cost of making autoclaved aerated cement blocks masonry to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department. | 20 | Cum | - | - |
| 1.09 | Cement plaster using READY MIX MORTAR (RMM) of approved manufacturer (Roofit Mix, Wallplast, Readiplast, Silcoplast) in single/ double coat as specified over masonry/Concrete surfaces in thickness as mentioned, in C.M 1:4 or richer by proportionally increasing cement content as required, over plane or curved surfaces at all level including rounding of surfaces wherever required, prepare the surfaces even and smooth in correct line, level, plane and plumb including scaffolding, chemical curing etc. complete as per specification drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge.15 mm thick cement plaster using RMM 1:4 mix for internal masonry / concrete surfaces for all walls and beams flush with walls, mullions etc.
Note:
a) Before commencement of plastering, the area shall be cleaned, wetted and shall be marked with 'Thiyyas' or 'Tapanis' and shall be got approved by the Engineer-in-charge.
b) Whenever the electrical contractor/ agency has to fix up switch boxes in walls, necessary Thiyyas or 'Dhadas' shall be arranged prior to plastering so that the electrical boxes are fixed properly in line with the finished plastered surfaces.
c) Finishing around the junction boxes shall be done at all floor, level and position to the line, level and right angles as required while carrying out plastering work.
d) No extra claim/cement consumption shall be entertained by the department for the plastering done more than the specified thickness shown in the schedule of quantities, to bring the plastered surface to perfect line, level and plumb with adjoining columns and beams.
e) Only Ready mix Mortar of approved make shall be used. For richer proportion additional cement to be added in required proportion.

| 1.1 | Sand faced cement plaster as mentioned below in CM 1:4, using factory manufactured pre mix/ ready mix of 'Roofit Mix' of M/s Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Build Well ready mix plaster' of M/s Walplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s Ultratech Cement Ltd / Readymade polymerised Dry mix Plaster - Silicoplast of M/s. Precise Conchem Pvt.
