The pump should be fitted with bronze impeller of suitable alloys as per IS 8034-1979 latest suitable for Clear water having greased packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP, RPM 2900 of reputed make conforming to BIS 9238-1979 latest with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. (Cost of excavation in trenches,M.S flanges, butt wellding and gasket sheet etc. to be measured and paid for separately)

GMS pipe 150 mm dia Heavy class PE

Providing, Laying , jointing and testing of MSERW flanged/ butt welded joints by considering three layers pipes including cost of bends complete as per API specification i.e. 5L( standard pressure) Grade X-60 as per dimensions, weights and test pressure mentioned below in a random length of 4 to 7 metres . The M.S. flnages are to be provided on 1% of total joints as per Table given below conforming to 6392-1971 and welding of flnages wiht electrodes as per relevants codes including required number and size of nuts and bolts as per less than 3mm thickness as per relevants codes. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers to make the joint lead proof and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge . The laying of pipe should be conformed to IS 5822-194 . (earth work in trenches flnages joints and butt welded joints to be measured and paid for seperately) The pipe shall have put side coating as per AWWA specification as per5 C-223 -1978 followed by a flood cost of coaltar approximately 3/32". Tapa completely dipped in coaltar inside cost shall be black bitumenous anticorrosive paint complete in all respects and to the enitre satisfaction of the Engineer-in- Charge.

MSERW Pipe 80mm dia 4.5mm wall thickness from RD 0/0 to 1500 Rmt

Providing welding and fixing of MS flanges at 1% of total joints, conforming to following tables as per IS 6392-1971 (Last with upto date amendments) and welding of MS flanges with GMS pipes in three layers on both faces i.e two layer on outer faces and one layer on inner face to make the joint leak proof (The cost of providing and laying of GMS pipes to be measured and paid for separately). The welding of flanges should conform to IS 816-1969 with electrodes as per IS: 814-1991 and required number of nuts and bolts conforming to IS 1364. the thickness of gasket not less than 3.00 mm conforming to IS 2712-1998. The work shall be done as per entire satisfaction of engineer in charge within all leads and lifts.

Providing Circumferencial Butt welded joints by electrical are welding to below mentioned dia and wall thickness GMS /MSERW pipe welded in requisite number of weld runs so as to achieve the minimum effective throat thickness of weld conforming to IS 816-1969 specifications, by using welding electrodes of 2.5 mm to 6.3 mm of Advani Oerlikon (Adore)-CITOJET/ESAB make, conforming to IS 814-1991 including Die pentration test, at site of work complete in all respects, including manual/machanical handling of pipes in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge.
