Scarifying or picking bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm and n exc 50mm deep and removing complete all as specified and directed at site.

Preparing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with Air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc.

Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer 5kg/10 sqm using RS bituminous Emulsion complete all as specified and directed

Bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete, consolidated thickness 40mm with 5.5% of the binder content by using VG 30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Demolition of Concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided complete all as specified and directed at site.

Removing building materials etc., (other than spoil payable under items 03028 to 03031 in Section 3--Earthwork) to a distance of 5 Km or under, beyond the lead included in the rates, including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination

M&L for PCC 1:2:4, type B-2, (using 40 mm graded coarse aggregate), 150 mm thick,as in sub base and path etc

Forming 12mm thick expansion joints filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade `B'

M & L for preparing old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with using air blower to remove all loose dirt etc complete and apply cold Polymer Modified Emulsion (Rapid Setting) (PME) mopping of total cold liquid PME 1.00 Ltr per Sqm (undiluted) for two coats with mineral filler as recommended by manufacturer of PME (after diluting with water), each coat diluted in the ratio 1:1 (PME : Water) and ensure uniform finish of urnway complete all as manufacturer instructions and all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. The tenderer shall take into consideration the following points while quoting his rate for this item :- (a) The work shall be carried out through authorised and qualified applicator of the manufacturer only. (b) Care shall be taken to fill wider gaps/cracks with 0.6mm to 2.36mm size coarse sand as per manufacturer's instructions. (c) A performance guarantee certificate for two year shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of the work as specified.

M & L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads, pavements and the like exc 10cm wide road marking paint white, golden and yellow or of any tint approved MORTH, IRTC and AAI including preparation of old Painted pavement surfaces. Note: Paint shall be applying as per manufacturers instructions.
