AC SYSTEM

DX type, air cooled condensing unit of minimum 60 TR (ACTUAL) capacity. The refrigerant compressor shall be Scroll, hermetic / Semi-hermetic type suitable for Refrigerant R-134a / R-407c / R-410a environment friendly HFC refrigerants with drive package, Suction and discharge valves, capacity control system, expansion valve, crank case heater etc. A control panel shall be provided to house all gauges and controls. The panel shall contain all necessary terminal strips to facilitate external wiring. The unit shall be complete with expansion valve, all necessary fittings, accessories, insulated refrigerant piping to and from AHUs, foundation bolts, nuts, washers etc complete in all respect.

Sheet metal cabinet type air handling units (double skin as per specification) The draw through horizontal AHUs (min. 65 mmWC SP) shall comprise of Dampers, pre filter, fine filters, DX- cooling coil, Fan section with fan & TEFC sq cage induction motor, drive set, condensate drain pan, thermostatic controls and other accessories, like ladder along with supporting structure for filter and plenum, etc. to meet the AC load of control room area as per specification. (min 28500 CFM)

MONSOON REHEATING / WINTER HEATING KIT comprising strip heaters, safety controls, airstat, contactors, frame work, thermostat & humidistat/ sensors etc. for above mentioned AC system (min 36KW)

HUMIDIFIER for above mentioned AC System complete with humidistat, safety controls, make up water piping from make up tank /nearest source of water, valves fittings etc (min 3 KW)

Fresh air fan (axial flow type), complete with motor, inlet cone, air filters (pre and fine), dampers etc. along with support structure and other accessories for above mentioned AC System (min 1350CFM)

Drain piping with and without insulation from various equipment upto nearest available drain point with necessary fittings like tees, reducers, expanders, elbows, flanges, valves with flanges, U trap etc as per specifications.

2.0 TR capacity non-ductable type Split Air Conditioner (240 V, 1-phase), complete with indoor and outdoor units, ISImarked isolation switch (MCB of suitable rating with MCB box), voltage stabilizer, ISI-marked power accessories for each single-phase Split AC (1 No. 5-pin power socket of min. 20A rating, 1 No. 3-pin power plug of min. 20A rating, and 1 No. MCB with MCB box), refrigerant piping with insulation as per site requirement, drain piping up to nearest drain point, electrical cabling from power source to AC units including interconnecting cable, supporting structures/brackets, clamps, fasteners, and all materials and works required to complete the installation in all respects as per specification.”

Mandatory spares listed in Price Schedule are bare minimum requirement. In case any additional mandatory spares requirement is covered elsewhere in the tender specification apart from specified above, same shall be deemed to have been covered in bidder’s scope of supply.

Wherever "set" is indicated, it shall mean complete replacement for one main equipment of similar size & capacity.

All Spares shall be supplied as per the requirement of the specifications. In case any spare indicated in the specification is “not applicable” for particular equipment, then suitable applicable alternate spare has been offered / shall be supplied by the bidder without any financial implication.

Bidder to write “Quoted / Not Applicable” against all items. Any item which is quoted as “not applicable” by the bidder in the above list and is found to be “applicable” at a later date shall be supplied by the bidder without any commercial and delivery implication.

Estimated power consumption (EPC) figure for the system (for working drives only) has been considered as 206 KW. So long bidder's quoted guaranteed power consumption (GPC) above remains within this EPC, there will be no technical loading of bid on power consumption for evaluation. However, if bidder's quoted GPC exceeds EPC, there shall be technical loading of bid for evaluation @ USD 2129 per KW of additional power over EPC. Bidder’s guaranteed power consumption at motor input terminals (not shaft power) as furnished in relevant schedule shall be demonstrated by the successful bidder during performance testing at works/ site. In case power consumption is noted higher than EPC / bidder's quoted GPC whichever is higher, during inspection/ PG test, penalty @ USD 2129 per KW shall be levied on vendor. USD conversion rate shall be taken as defined in NIT. Above guaranteed power consumption value shall be at 20 deg. C for centrifugal fans for AHUs and 30 deg. C for centrifugal fans of UAF units and at an elevation of RL of site for both AHUs and UAF centrifugal fans.
