Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 SqM on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and for all lift, as directed by Engineer-in-charge.All kinds of soil(2.6.1)

Excavating, supplying, stacking and filling of local earth by mechanical transport upto a lead of 5km also including ramming and watering of the earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm in foundation trenches, plinth, sides of foundation etc. complete for all lift.(2.25a)

Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and in-equalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.All kinds of soil(2.28.1)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level 1:1½:3 (1 Cement: 1½ coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)(4.1.2)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)(4.1.8)

Supplying at site Welded steel wire fabric of required width having rectangular mesh painted with two or more coats of enamel paint of approved shade over a coat of primer (Priming & Painting to be paid for separately).(16.15.2)

Welded steel wire fabric fencing with posts of specified material and of standard design placed and embedded in cement concrete blocks 45x45x 60 cm of mix 1:5:10 (1 cement:5 fine sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size), every 15th post, last but one end post and corner post shall be strutted on both sides and end post on one side only and struts embedded in cement concrete blocks 70x45x50 cm of the same mix, provided with welded steel wire fabric fixed between the posts fitted and fixed with G.I. staples on wooden plugs or tied to 6 mm bar nibs with G.I. binding wire (cost of posts, welded steel wire fabric, painting, earth work in excavation and concrete to be paid for separately).(16.20)

Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge with material conforming to Grade-I (size range 75 mm to 0.075 mm) having CBR Value-30.(16.78.1)

Grouting of vertical or inclined post of pale/chain/security fencing in true level, alignment and in plumb or inclination as required, including cost of all labour, materials and T&P required for proper completion of work. ( Post and concrete for grouting shall be measured separately) (29.21)

Conditions:

1. All civil work shall be executed according to the approved drawings of UPPTCL.

2. The quantities in BOQ are tentative and may vary up to any extent or be deleted as per the requirement at site.

3. All civil work shall be carried out as per UPPWD/UPPTCL specification.

4. Rates in BOQ are exclusive of CGST,SGST. Labour tax shall be borne by contractor.

5. Pozzlona Portland cement confirming to IS 1489(Part 1) 1991 of approved quality like ACC,Ultra Tech,Birla or equi.shall only be used.

6. Overweight steel section within tolerance shall be measured at standard weight and underweight steel section within tolerence shall be measured at actual weight.

7. In case any change in Bill of Quantity is suggested by higher authority that will be binding on the contractor.The agreement shall be executed on the approved Bill of Quantity only.

8.Performance Guarantee shall be applicable as per GO 622/23-12-2012-2 Audit/08 dt 08 June 2012.adopted by UPPTCL BOD dated 27.06.2017

9. The 60% amount of bricks available from dismantling shall be reovered @ Rs. 2362.00/thousand + GST from firm /contractor.

10. The 30% amount of bricks available from dismantling shall be reovered as brick ballast @ Rs. 700.00/CuM + GST from firm /contractor.

11. The amount of steel/Chain link/Pale Fencing available from dismantling will be recovered Rs. 20.00/Kg + GST from firm /contractor.
