CERTAIN PETTY REPAIRS, DAY TO DAY MAINTENANCE, OTHER CONNECTED B/R NATURE WORKS, REPAIR, CLEANING OF SEWAGE LINE/MANHOLE AND REPAIR TO DRAINS IN TECHNICAL AREA AT BHISIANA UNDER GE (AF) BHISIANA

Dismantling of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles in any description, stacking serviceable brick for re use if directed and balance removing rubbish from the site complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for brick work using old serviceable bricks obtained from dismantled item shall be reused after cleaning old cement mortar, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for brick work in half brick thick wall straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for Brick work with well burnt clay, old size sub class 'B' bricks, laid on edge as in sides of drain or in floor, bedded and jointed in cement mortar (1:6) and flush pointed in cement mortar (1:6), complete all as specified and as directed.

Labour for raking out/cutting out existing joints and decayed/loose mortar from brickwork or brick tiles, whether laid flat or on edge, in floors, surface channels and other similar works, to a minimum depth of 12 mm, including thorough cleaning and washing of the raked joints, removal of loose mortar and debris, and removing all rubbish and waste material from the site to a location as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Flush pointing to brick laid flat or on edge in drain or brick wall as in cement motar (1:4), complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc. (inner girth only measured) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel exceeding 30 cm and not exceeding 55 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc. (inner girth only measured) complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster/rough cast plaster from brick walls/soffits of roof projections & chajjas /ceilings etc. including racking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc including disposal of rubbish material to any distance out side MOD land complete all as specified and as directed.
