Relaying or refixing or repassing in trenches/ on poles/ through pipes after taking out/ taking down the existing HT 11000 volts grade PILCA/ XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor of cross section area 95/120 sqmm, 3 core from trenches/ poles/ pipes and testing on completion complete all as directed. Notes:- (i) Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning and cable covers/ brick protection shall be measured and paid seprately under respective items. (ii) Joints shall be measured and paid seprately under respective items. (iii) Taking out/ taking down shall be done only after disconnecting all the connections of the cable from over head lines and panels.

M&L for earthing in replacement complete with galvansided steel earth pipe 3000 mm long, 65mm outer dia and 50mm inner dia, directly burried in the ground (earth pit not less than 2.25M deep below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.50M deep below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, 40mm bore GI pipe medium grade including necessary fittings for protection of earthing strip, watering pipe 20mm bore GI medium grade, concrete chamber in PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm grade aggregate, coping shall be in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm grade aggregate and internal surfaces of concrete chamber shall be given 12mm thick plaster in CM (1:4), funnel with wire gauge of 22 gauge (0.63 mm) 8 mesh per linear incl 50mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm grade stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm MS deformed bar @ 75 mm C/C both ways, char coal dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) including all necessary excavation & earth work and removal of surplus soil to a distance n. exc 50M and providing connection points with MS/ GI bolts & washers as required and connection from earth test point to earth electrode with same GI earth strip alongwith protection pipe and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- GI strip and protection pipe from earth electrode to test point max upto 7.50M shall be deemed to be included in the unit rates as quoted by the contractor.

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation, for laying of pipe, cable etc or n. exc.10 Sqm on plan and n. exc. 1.5m in depth for shafts, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point including spreading complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and spreading clean and dry fine sand free from sharp materials (unwashed) laying in trenches around the cable for cushioning in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23cm (15cm under the cable & 8cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable covers, Class HVP type1 with peak, size 300 mm x 180 mm x 40 mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and fixing/ laying of 80mm bore dia GI pipe light grade in trenches/ under roads/ along pole/ wall including all fittings, ISI marked as required for cable protection etc after taking out the old unserviceable pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Drilling (Horizontally) to existing road (maximum 10M wide) suitable for passing GI tubing of dia upto 80mm/ 100mm as required at site complete all as specified and directed. Note:- All necessary T&P required at site for drilling shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Supply, fixing and stretching of new aluminum conductor, steel reinforced on LT poles including copper binding wires or aluminium tape after taking out the old unserviceable aluminium conductor of any size complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminum paint after taking out the old unserviceable cross arms, bracing, supports etc of any section complete all as specified and dircted.

Supply and fixing of new pin type porcelain, vitreous, white/ brown/ green insulator 150mm high and 150mm dia including one galvanised mils steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, suitable for HT 11000 volts after taking out the old unserviceable insulator complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of new pin type porcelain, vitreous, white/ brown/ green insulator 150mm high and 150mm dia including one galvanised mils steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, suitable for HT 33000 volts after taking out the old unserviceable insulator complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of new disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous white/ brown/ green 145mm high and 225mm dia ball & socket type single disc assembly for tension with GI tension clamps for conductors for working pressure of 33000 volts after taking out the old unserviceable insulator complete all as specified and directed.

Supply &Fixing, in replacement, post type insulator suitable for 33 KV complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of new disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous white/ brown/ green 145mm high and 225mm dia ball & socket type single disc assembly for tension with GI tension clamps for conductors for working pressure of 11000 volts after taking out the old unserviceable insulator complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for new lightning arrestor expulsion type complete with all fittings, transmision/ distribution class 65 KA, conforming to IS-3070 (Part-III) 1993 suitable for 11 KV system and mounting on poles including all necessary bolts, nuts and washers and making electric connection after taking out the old unserviceable lightning arrestor and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Make:- SCHNENIDER or BHEL or GE POWER or W/S INSULATORS or SOUTHERN INSULATORS as approved by GE.

Supply, installation and testing, in replacment, single pole zinc oxide (gapless surge type) heavy duty station class, self supporting outdoor type lightning arrestor having rated voltage 12 Kvrms, discharge current 10.2 KAp, insulation level suitable for rated system voltage of 33 KV supply system with maximum continuous operating voltage (MCOV) not less than10 KV (rms) with highly non-linear ceramic resister made of zinc oxide in hermetically sealed container complete with metal base, base inculator and suitable terminals for ground connections and pressure relieving arrangement complete all as specified (Make : Cromption Greaves or equivalent type in Raychem RPG Ltd/ELPRO as approved by GE) Note : The rate quoted against above item shall include necessary fixing arrangement of lightening arrestor on two pole/four pole structure as per recommendations of Manufacturer.

Routine and periodical cleaning of inside area of 11 KV Sub Stations including cutting and removal/ uprouting of unwanted grass/ bushes, small trees near all around sub station and pump houses complex complete including surface dressing and leveling by surface excavation and removal of debris to out side MD land wherever as required or as directed.

Supply and fixing, in replacement, Sealed maintenance free battery 12V, 150 AH complete all as specified and as directed

S&F hand held search light LED 10 watt 12 Volt 7 AH with charging facality complete all as required and directed at site (Make : Kalin model KDL 10 SE or equivalent as approved by GE)

M&L for writing of details such as, Sl No, SM/MES NO/ Capacity on transformer body after cleaning of dirt/oil particles from the existing surfaces complete all as specified and directed

S&F,in replacement, PVC insulation tap 25 mm width, 5 mtr long complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Anti climbing device, spikes type, fabricated out of mild steel bars (round, square and flat) including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole complete including taking down old unserviceable anti-climbing device etc complete all as specified and as directed

M & L for 40 mm crushed stone agregate , laying and spreading complete all as required and directed at site

Supply and fixing in replacement capacitor bank , 50 KVAR, type PP, Cn 2.68, 50 Hz, Un-7.7 KV, Insulation level 28/75 KV, single pole, out door type, suitable for fixing in series in 33 KV gantry complete all as specified and directed

Readjustment, cleaning of contact, greasing and testing of out door type air break switch 11 KV current rating upto 200 Amps including all materials required for alignment for Air Break switch in position and replacement of unserviceable parts complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items of this BoQ.)

Supply only brass terminal plate for mounting male contact of Air Break switch insulator including GI nuts and bolts, washers etc as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Note:- All necessary T&P required at site for painting shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Note:- All necessary T&P required at site for painting shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Providing the cable fault locating machine with all necessary tool and plants at work site for locating the exact pin point of fault along with the exact length of armourd 6.6/11 KV XLPE/ PILCA insulated HT cable complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Cable fault locating machine along with all necessary T&P as required shall be arranged by contractor within very short notice as when asked by GE without fail and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

(A) Disconnecting and taking down of faulty/ defective copper wound POWER TRANSFORMER of capacity 1600-5000KVA, ratio 33/11 KV from HR sub station/ Ridge Road Sub Station in Jabalpur cantt and transporting the POWER TRANSFORMER to workshop for complete overhauling/ repairing & servicing as specified in sub Para (B) here- in- after and transporting back the POWER TRANSFORMER from workshop to its existing location after complete overhauling/ repairing & servicing including loading & unloading of POWER TRANSFORMER in to the truck with the help of skilled labours and re-installation of POWER TRANSFORMER at its existing position with the help of chain pullies & skilled labours and making all necessary incoming & outgoing connections and tightening of all connection nuts, bolts, screws etc including following testing at 33 KV before installation and commissioning at site complete all as specified & directed :- (a) Insulation Resistance Test (By 5000 V Megger) (b) Ratio Test (c) Double Voltage & Double Frequency Test (d) Transformer Oil Value BDV Test (e) Tap Changing Test of load for all tap position Notes:- (i) POWER TRANSFORMER shall only be got repaired from authorised Workshop of Manufacturers of transformer or any other Workshop which have been authorised by MPSEB for repairing of transformer of such type & capacities and GE will approve the workshop in writing before shifting the POWER TRANSFORMER for repairing. (ii) Contractor will submit the certificate of authorised workshop along with RARs and final bill dully verified and signed by Engr-in-Charge. (iii) Cost of cable jointing materials such as cable glands & lugs etc as required shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (iv) All necessary T&P required at site for shifting of POWER TRANSFORMER shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and quoted rate shall be deemed to include for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

(B) M&L for opening the top cover of defective copper wound POWER TRANSFORMER of capacity 1600-5000KVA, ratio 33/11 KV for complete overhauling/ repairing & servicing in folllowing manner:- (a) Taking out the transformer oil from POWER TRANSFORMER and store the same into seperate barrel container . (b) Taking out the core/ coil assembly of POWER TRANSFORMER. (c ) Cleaning of POWER TRANSFORMER inside by using transformer oil. (d) Re-fixing the core/ coils after complete repair/ replacement of core/ coils in POWER TRANSFORMER including heating up of POWER TRANSFORMER core assembly to remove complete moisture. (e) Replacement of HV/ LV spindles and bushings etc. as per existing make/ as per manufacturer's recommendations duly approved by GE complete all as specified & directed. (f) Re-filling of the removed POWER TRANSFORMER oil after filtration/ centrifusing. (g) Re-fixing of the POWER TRANSFORMER top cover with and including new rubberized gasket set and nuts, bolts and washers for top cover as per existing make/ as per manufacturer's recommendations duly approved by GE and tightening of all nuts, bolts, screws & gasket etc (h) Checking of all electrical and mechanical components at workshop after making the POWER TRANSFORMER fully fuctional. (j) All other parts/ items/ components of POWER TRANSFORMER which are necessary to be replace in the opinion of Engr-in-Charge/ as per manuacturer's recommendations for smooth functioning of POWER TRANSFORMER, same shall also be replace for smooth functioning and cost of the same shall also be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor.

(A) Disconnecting and taking down of faulty/ defective alumunium/ copper wound TRANSFORMERS of capacity upto 750KVA, ratio 11/0.433 or 0.415 KV from 2/4 pole structure or Sub Station in Jabalpur cantt and transporting the TRANSFORMERS to workshop for complete overhauling/ repairing & servicing as specified in sub Para (B) here- in - after and transporting back the TRANSFORMERS from workshop to its existing location after complete overhauling/ repairing & servicing including loading & unloading of TRANSFORMERS into the truck with the help of skilled labours and re-installation of TRANSFORMERS at its existing position with the help of chain pullies & skilled labours and making all necessary incoming & outgoing connections and tightening of all connection nuts, bolts, screws etc including following testing before installation and commissioning at site complete all as specified & directed:- (a) Insulation Resistance Test (b) Ratio Test (c) Double Voltage & Double Frequency Test (d) Transformer Oil Value BDV Test (e) Tap Changing Test of load for all tap position Notes:- (i) TRANSFORMERS shall only be got repaired from authorised workshop of Manufacturer of transformer or any other workshop which have been authorised by MPSEB for repairing of transformer of such type & capacities and GE will approve the workshop in writing before shifting the TRANSFORMERS for repairing. (e) Replacement the HV/ LV spindles and bushings etc. complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (f) Re-filling of the removed TRANSFORMERS oil after filtration/ centrifusing. (g) Re-fixing of the TRANSFORMERS top cover with and including new rubberized gasket set and nuts, bolts and washers for top cover as per existing make/ as per manufacturer's recommendations duly approved by GE and tightening of all nuts, bolts, screws & gasket etc (h) Checking of all electrical and mechanical components at workshop after making the TRANSFORMERS fully fuctional. (j) All other parts/ items/ components of TRANSFORMERS which are necessary to be replace in the opinion of Engr-in-Charge/ as per manuacturer's recommendations for smooth functioning of TRANSFORMERS, same shall also be replace for smooth functioning and cost of the same shall also be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor.

Supply only LV leg coils of copper conductor for POWER TRANSFORMER of capacity 1600-5000KVA, ratio 33/11 KV complete with insulation, varnishing by vaccum impregnation and baking of coil assembly in oven, complete all as specified & directed.

Supply only HV leg coils of copper conductor for POWER TRANSFORMER of capacity 1600-5000KVA, ratio 33/11 KV complete with insulation, varnishing by vaccum impregnation and baking of coil assembly in oven, etc complete all as specified & directed.

Re-conditioning of LV leg coils of aluminium/ copper conductor for TRANSFORMERS of capacity upto 750KVA complete with insulation, varnishing by vaccum impregnation and baking of coil assembly in oven, complete all as specified & directed. (Note:- Reconditioning of LV leg coils shall be done if only insulation found damaged and conductor strip is intact i.e. not deformed/ damageed. This item involves all turns of leg coil to be reconditioned, removing complete insulation from conductor strip, cleaning of conductor, wrapping of conductor with fresh DPC insulation and remaking of LV leg coils with reconditioned strip complete all as directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Re-conditioning of HV leg coils of aluminium/ copper conductor for TRANSFORMERS of capacity upto 750KVA complete with insulation, varnishing by vaccum impregnation and baking of coil assembly in oven, etc complete all as specified & directed. (Note:- Reconditioning of LV leg coils shall be done if only insulation found damaged and conductor strip is intact i.e. not deformed/ damageed. This item involves all turns of leg coil to be reconditioned, removing complete insulation from conductor strip, cleaning of conductor, wrapping of conductor with fresh DPC insulation and remaking of LV leg coils with reconditioned strip complete all as directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Supply and fixing of new rubberized gasket set and nuts, bolts and washers for top cover, LT terminal box and replacement of LV/ HV spindles & bushings if found unserviceable etc as per existing make/ as per manufacturer's recommendations duly approved by GE suitable for indoor/ outdoor TRANSFORMERS of capacity up to 750 KVA to stop the leakage after opening the top cover and taking out and re-filling the transformer oil after filtration/ centrifusing of oil as required in various sub stations under GE (W) Jabalpur complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) HV/ LV spindles and bushings shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ as supply only. (ii) Filtration/ centrifusing of usable transformer oil including filter action by using automatic centrifusing machine shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ. (iii) Topping of TRANSFORMERS with new transformer oil if required and same shall be measured and paid seprately under respective item of BOQ.

Supply only LV leg coils of aluminium conductor for TRANSFORMERS of capacity upto 750KVA complete with insulation, varnishing by vaccum impregnation and baking of coil assembly in oven etc, to be fixed, complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and fixing, in replacement, dial type thermometer of minimum 100mm dia with maximum temperature indicator as per existing make/ as per manufacturer's recommendations duly approved by GE suitable for indoor/ outdoor TRANSFORMERS up to 750 KVA in various sub stations under GE (W) Jabalpur complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Semco or Osmadial or Remax or Systems as approved by GE.

S&F, in replacement, pin type porcelain, vitreous, white brown or green insulator including 1 galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nuts suitable for 33 KV complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and erecting steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug , bolts, nuts & screws complete all as specified, type 410 SP- 55, 11.0 metre long, including painting of pole with one coat of red oxide primer & two coat of aluminum paint & emedded portion shall be painted with two coat of black paint all as psecified in IS including the following:-(Refer TD drw No CEJZ/TD/824/91, Sht No1/2 dt 16.04.91 (a) Excavation in post holes in any type of soil ,returning, filling , well ramming and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr from the starting points.(b) PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation up to ground level all as specified and directed .(c) PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in coping including necessary form work. (d) M&L for writing letters of figures ( Black, Roman, Itallic or Indian) with thick enamel paint of approved shade not exc 5cm height in numbering of pole all as specified and directed .

S&F in replacement DO fuse element of capacity 25Amp to 60 Amp having 10 Nos of fuses in each pkt for 33 KV grade complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement DO fuse element of capacity 10 Amp to 50 Amp having 10 Nos of fuses in each pkt for 11 KV grade complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting and taking down of faulty/ defective alumunium/ copper wound TRANSFORMERS of capacity upto 750KVA, ratio 11/0.433 or 0.415 KV from 2/4 pole structure in Jabalpur cantt with the help of chain pullies & skilled labours for repair at site and re-installation of TRANSFORMERS at its existing position with the help of chain pullies & skilled labours and making all necessary incoming & outgoing connections and tightening of all connection nuts, bolts, screws etc after repairing work complete all as specified & directed. Notes:- All necessary T&P required at site for taking down and re-installation of TRANSFORMERS shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

M&L for cleaning/ prepration of complete external surfaces of POWER TRANSFORMER of capacity 1600-5000KVA, ratio 33/11 KV for painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of colour/ shed as approved by GE including writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) with and including thick enamel paint of approved colour/ shed not exc 5cm in height for SM/ MES No. etc of tranformer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning/ prepration of complete external surfaces of DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER of capacity upto 750 KVA for painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of colour/ shed as approved by GE including writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) with and including thick enamel paint of approved colour/ shed not exc 5cm in height for SM/ MES No. etc of tranformer complete all as specified and directed.
