Preparing old bituminous surfaces by brushing with wire brushes and finally cleaning with runway power sweepers or compressor complete all as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen (Grade VG-30) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for hot mix dense bituminous macadam (DBM) with VG-30 (Minimum marshal stability 900 KG) base course average thickness 50 mm (consolidated thickness) with bitumen binder content 4.5% (minimum) including rolling and consolidation to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for hot mix dense asphaltic concrete (DAC) wearing course of thickness 40 mm (Consolidated thickness) with 6 % (minimum) binder content by weight of total mix, including rolling and consolidation to required gradient and camber using polymer modified bitumen 70 (PMB-70) (Minimum Marshal stability -1400 KG) complete all as specified and directed. Sprayer :- Self propelled or towed pressure sprayer with self heating arrangement and spraying bitumen at specified rates and temperature so as to provide a uniform and even spread of bitumen. 2. Hot mix plant :- Hot mix plant of not less than 100 tonne/hour output and capable of producing a proper and uniform quality mix shall be used for preparation of mix confirming to clause 20.B.3.3.2 of SSR Part-I 3. Paver:- Self propelled mechanical paver finisher with electronic sensor and hydraulic controls confirming to clause 20.B.3.3.6 of SSR Part-I 4. Tipper :- Tipper shall be of minimim six (06) cum capacity and be directly able to dischange into the paver hopper and shall have suitable hydraulic control for operating the system. 5. Tandem vibratory Roller:- Tandem vibratory roller shall be of make Bomag, vibromax 752B or equivalent. The machine shall have both modes of compaction i.e. static mode as well as vibratory mode. The machine shall have auto water spraying system. 6. Pneumatic tired Roller :- Pnuematic tired roller shall be of make Bomag, vibromax 752B or equivalent. The empty weight shall be to the tune of 10 tonne shall be possible to increase to about 21 tonne with ballast or other materials for compaction purpose. The machine shall have auto water spraying system.

M&L for preparation of new or previously untreated surface of road and painting lines, dashes, arrows, letter etc on road pavements and the like exc 10 cm wide with aquabased road marking paint (White or golden yellow) complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil including removal of soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre complete all as specified and as directed.
