Milling of distress bituminous layer upto 50/40mm depth in a single pass with a suitable milling machine (capable of milling @ 200-300 Sqm area per Hr.) fitted with loading conveyor for loading the milled material directly on the tucks i/c hauling and stock piling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant or reclaiming to bring to required specification to reuse with the approval of Engineer-in-charge for safe disposal with all lead and lift complete in all respects. Note: - The quantity of reclaimed material shall be considered minimum 80% of theoretical volume. The reclaimed material shall be used 30% of total quantity of DBM/BM as per clause No. 519 of MoRT&H specifications.
Earthwork excavation in ordinary soil exclusive of compensation of earth. Kassi work undressed involving an average horizontal throw upto 2 metres and an average vertical lift upto 0.5 metre including breaking of clods.

Construction of embankment, for replace of sub grade upto 500 mm in NH-10 to SH-16 RD 1010m to 1395m (385m), Singhpura flyover to Singhpura STP road from Km. 0.00 to 2.100 (2100M) & Rohtak Bhiwani road from km. 91.550 to 92.100 (550+40 = 590m) with soil of minimum CBR 8% (4 days soaked) of obtained from borrow area with any lead and lift transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305. The finished road surface will be as per X-section approved by engineer the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than the actual quantity (less than 1950.00 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 1950.00 cum, then only 1950.00 cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS. Note: 1.) If soil of CBR 8% is not available then the agency will do appropriate stabilization as per IRC _ SP-89-2010 as approved by SE-in-charge and nothing extra shall be paid on this account and it will be incidental to work. No earth work will be allowed from PWD land.

The milled material to be used in BM shall be minimum 80% of the theoretical quantity. Note: 1. If bitumen required is this account more than 3.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. 2. Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping to bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by the contractor. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required is this account more than 3.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping to bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by the contractor. If coating and stripping to bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by the contractor. Providing and laying ‘B’ type seal coat with VG-10 grade bitumen excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified/desirable value of compaction as per direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect as per clause 511 and 510.1.3 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS).
Providing & Laying 40mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant with bituminous binder [email protected]% (minimum) and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher having sufficient screed width so that the BC in full width of the carriage way is laid in single opration without any longititutinal joint with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and with pneumatic tyred rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 MoRT&H specification (Vth Revision) 2013 clause No. 507 complete in all respect. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula including waste plastic material no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. Providing and marking centre line / side line 2.5 mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint 10cms wide / 15cm wide complete in all respects as furnishing all labour, materials, tools, equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site conforming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road & bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name, trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture, color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperarture. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/ Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo.The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer – in – charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirements of the specifications. The reflectorzing Glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause – 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause – 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS : 3262 (Part – 3). Note:- Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill duly signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use. Note: - i) In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR items depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and the nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable. ii) In case of any difference in the unit of any Non-schedule items depicted in this DNIT and the conventional unit of that N.S. item as per practice in this department, the conventional unit as per practice shall be applicable.
