SCHEDULE A PART I [PRIME COST SUM]
Supply, fixing and testing of copper refrigerant piping for interconnection between each set of indoor units and outdoor units as per tentative scheme enclosed along with Y joint set fittings and any other item to make system complete duly insulated with closed cell elastomeric nitrile rubber tubular insulation complete all as per approved OEM instructions, as specified and directed ”. The work shall be carried out by BLUE STAR (or) CARRIER (or) HITACHI as per the drawings submitted by contractor and duly approved by the Accepting Officer.

Supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of air cooled 100% inverter single / multiple compressor based , non CFC refrigerant based variable refrigerant flow (VRF) modular type air conditioning system, suitable to operate at 400 V ±10%, 50 Hz electric supply , suitable for multi indoor units with external condensing units, copper refrigerant pipe, full charge of refrigerant with additional top up if required, drain pipe, transmission cum control wiring cordless remote controls, MS slotted angle irons, provision of winter heating arrangement (Heat recovery Ventilation System) ,etc , suitable to operate at 50 degree C without tripping including all accessories as specified below for maintaining inside temperature (24±2) Degree Celsius considering weather condition of Bamrauli

Notes for Items here-in-before: (i) COP at AHRI condition shall not be less than 3.28 and IEER not less than 4.36 under AHRI condition. (ii) The contractor should get the plant installed only by any one of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) namely BLUE STAR/CARRIER/HITACHI with their own makes (or) with their recommended makes for the components which are not manufactured by OEM. Any other makes which are other than OEM (or) other than OEM recommended makes are not acceptable. Contractor shall submit proper documentary evidence before procurement action for all the items.
(iii) The contractor shall intimate the name of OEM namely BLUE STAR/CARRIER/HITACHI and submit a certificate from the OEM confirming the entire AC plant work shall be got executed from their accredited agencies. (iv) The rate quoted for outdoor condensing units is deemed to be inclusive of mounting platform as recommended by manufacturer.
(v) The rate quoted for outdoor condensing units is deemed to be inclusive of wiring using copper cable of suitable size, lugs etc between outer units and all connected internal units and control and power wiring within outer unit. The rate quoted is also inclusive of mounting platform / staging ( on floor) which should be of adequate size and should be capable to take load of outdoor unit. The design of platform shall be as recommended by manufacturer or as approved by GE. The contractor shall submit the drawing of staging and same shall be approved by GE before commencement of construction . Height of mounting platform / staging will be not less than 900 mm and distance of staging from building should be as directed by Engineer-in-charge and as per site requirement.
(vi) The rate quoted for indoor units is deemed to be inclusive of making cut in wall, inserting PVC sleeve and making good the disturbed surfaces to match with adjoining surfaces including point wiring with suitable size FRLSH PVC copper cable
(vii) The contractor shall conduct Nitrogen test and vacuum test on refrigerant piping minimum for 02 days before commissioning. Start and stop timing & pressure maintained shall be checked and the readings recorded shall be counter signed by Engineer- in- Charge. The unit rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of these tests.
(viii) The contractor shall submit computer generated reports of the VRF system for a duration of one hour indicating pressures, temperatures, voltage, power consumed, etc complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
(ix) The quantity and TR of indoor/out door units are tentative but these shall not be varied without approval of Accepting officer.
(x) The layout plan of indoor and out door units enclosed is tentative. The contractor shall submit the layout plan and obtain approval of Accepting officer for deviation if any.
(xi) The contractor shall submit 03 sets of the wiring diagram, final layout of inner and out units on tracing sheets after commissioning.
