Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre depth and getting out in any type of soil for taking out/laying pipes complete all as specified and as directed

Returning, filling in including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed

Removal of excavated material (soils) from site to a distance not exceeding 50 meters away and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 meters above the starting point as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for excavation in any type of soil through trenches technology by HDD (Horizontal directional drilling method) including preparing amd setting up the plant and equipment. Preparing new pipe work material included all related civil work and mechanical work like excavation, shoring/strutting etc drilling, stringing, reaming and pulling back the new pipe work on the path alignment proper disposal of drilling fluid and ground penetrating radar survey to protect any existing utilities at he pipe installation location restoration of site after completion all inclusive as pet and STT IS No 2.3.2.2.2.2. second edition 2008 code of practice for trenches technology suiting Indian condition for making horizontal bore of size 250 mm dia suitable for insertion & provision of HDPE pipe 150mm nominal dia of 22 to 28 mm wall thickness of grade PE 80 for protection of MS/DI pipe of 100mm dia to any depth by manually or any means complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- (i) MS pipe will be measured and paid for separately. (ii) Permission required from civil authority/department prior to executing the work is the responsibility of contractor and the cost for the same shall be deemed in unit rate quoted by the contractor complete all as specified and directed. (iii) Cost of HDPE pipe 150mm dia included in quoted unit rate.)

Supply and fixing jointing and testing of cast iron Non return valve without by pass arrangment swing type confirming to IS 5312 flanged ends pressure rating PN 1.0 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note - Flanged joints complete with rubber jointing materail shall deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item.

Note 1: - Excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of BOQ. Note 2:- Contractors will provide route indicators mild steel body with top 150 mm plate 3mm thick and height not less than 300mm above finished GL at suitable intervals as directed by EIC. Cost of route indicators shall be deemed included in quoted unit rates. Note3:- DI pipe whole quantity of tender shall be procured by contractor in one time and submit PV's MTC & e-way for whole quantity of DI pipe alongwith 1st RAR for payment material laying at site. Note4:- Piece meal site for laying of pipe shall be given by EIC and contractor arrange to transport the DI pipe accordingly at his own arrangement. No any additional payment for transportation will be given to contractor. Contractors are requested to quote rate accordingly. Note5:- Rubber fibre (Tyton) Joints shall be deemed included in quoted unit rate. Note6:- Layout plan for laying of DI pipe shall be given by EIC in writing.

M&L DI fittings/specials in replacement such as Tees, bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type, collars, tail pieces, caps and plugs of the following sizes confirming to IS: 9523 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Upto 150 mm bore

S&F cast iron Air relese valve with two air outlets 50 mm dia and fixing up in cast iron water supply mains 100mm dia bore complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for extension of MS pipe header 300mm dia size 6 mm thick 2 meter long with flanged ends closed with ends plates not less than 16mm thick plate fixed with and including provision of two outgoing connections of 100 mm dia MS Pipe with flanged ends conneted to existing header including painting as per exsiting shade and colour with two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying , laying , jointing, welding and testing MS Pipe (Heavy class 'C') IS : 1239/3589, 100mm bore dia laid in trenches or in Horizontal/Vertical/inclined position or laying on floors for connections to centrifugal pump set for suction, pump to header and connected to out going water main CI/DI pipe line complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note:- MS Flanges shall be measured and paid separately.)

Supplying and fixing MS flanges of 100 mm bore not less than 16 mm thick duly welded on ends of MS pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply, fixing, jointing & testing of cast iron sluice valves class PN-1.6, conforming to IS:14846 flanged ends drilled having stainless steel spindle with cast iron operation wheel at top complete with nuts, bolts, washers and rubber gaskets including taking out unserviceable sluice valve and removal from site for the follwing sizes complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- (i) Flanged joints complete with jointing material shall deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item. (ii) Excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of BOQ.)

Supply, installation and testing of flanged ends water meter ISI marked woltman type, Class 'B' of following sizes and making good connection with flanged ends, with gasket rubber sheet and nut & bolts fixing in horizontal/inclind/vertical position, including taking out unserviceable water meter complete all as specified and directed at site by the Engr-in-Charge. (Note :- Flange joints including jointing materials shall deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item.)

100 mm bore

M&L PCC (1:2:4) type B-I (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation of brick pillar to support the pipe line complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, installation and testing flanged ends strainer/dirt box of 100 mm bore sizes PN-1.0 with stainless steel mesh suitable for cold water meter to avoid foreign material entering into meter and making good connection with flanged ends, with gasket rubber sheet and nut & bolts fixing in horizontal/inclind/vertical position, including taking out old unserviceable strainer/ dirt box complete all as directed at site by the Engr-in-Charge. (Note :- Flange joints including jointing materials shall deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item.)

Excavation and in trenches by providing labour for Cutting RCC/PCC/Road/Brick Wall in the Position for Insertion of new pipe of Size upto 200 mm bore Including making good surface as before complete all as Specified and Directed by Engr-in-Charge.
