Work will be executed inside Barrack Store yard of GE Gwalior and Officer/JCO/ORs Md accns /OTM building/ Office area as per requirement. It is the responsibility of the contractor to lift the furniture from store godowns/sites/accommodations for painting/polishing and to keep it back in store godowns/ sheds/office/Govt. Md accn/OTM and at any other location in a systematic manner as directed by Eng in Charge. It is the part of CA and to be included in the quoted rates by contractor.

Wooden Furniture:-Materials and labours for carrying out polishing one coat to wooden surfaces with french polish of approved make and brand after cleaning, dusting and scratching the entire wooden surface with sand emery paper, filling putty to the bore holes making surface smooth by sanding and grinding with standard workmanship. The polishing shall be carried out after making the article intact by tightening all parts. Complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in Charge/GE.

Charpoy GI pipe FD-220 S & F following components of charpoy including dismantling taking out carefully & replace old components of charpoy. Complete all as shown on drg, specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out existing U/S ply from the frame of charpoy GI pipe. Tightening each part of the entire frame of charpoy by using pipe wrench, Drilling holes 02 Nos each in long rails, 02 nos each in short rails & 01 nos on both flat iron at centre. S & F 12mm thick plywood commercial ISI marked BWR grade made of wood and other lignocellulosic products conforming to IS-303 of size 1980mm x 900mm fixed over the GI pipe frame by fixing 3 components (i.e- ply ,flat iron and rail ) with GI carriage bolt, nut and washers 6mm dia 62 to 65mm long as directed by GE/Engr-In Charge.

Removing existing U/S long rail of charpoy GI Pipe. S&F new long rail made out of 32 mm dia medium grade GI Pipe ISI marked confirming to IS-1239 threaded at both ends complete all as specified and shown on drg & directed by GE/Engr-In Charge.

M&L to making Short Rail from old U/S long rail retrieved from charpoy GI pipe including threading at both ends and fixing the same to charpoy GI pipe complete all as specified and shown on drg & directed by GE/Engr-In Charge.

M&L to making leg from old U/S short rail retrieved from charpoy GI pipe including threading at one end and welding 4mm MS plate of dia 36mm at other end. complete all as specified and shown on drg & directed by GE/Engr-In Charge.

Removing existing U/S/short lengthed old legs from the charpoy by unscrewing, S & F new legs 32 mm dia medium grade GI Pipe ISI marked confirming to IS-1239 threading at one end and welding 4mm MS plate of dia 36mm at other end. complete all as specified and shown on drg & directed by GE/Engr-In Charge.

Removing existing U/S Elbow of charpoy GI Pipe. S&F with new GI elbow three way 32 mm dia duly ISI marked complete all as specified and shown on drg & directed by GE/Engr-In Charge.

Removing existing U/S Check Nuts of charpoy GI Pipe. S&F with new check nuts 32mm dia duly ISI marked of approved quality complete all as specified and shown on drg & directed by GE/Engr-In Charge.

Removing existing U/S MS sheet toe and S/F new toe made from 4 mm thick MS sheet 36 mm dia be welded with running welding at the bottom of each legs & painted one coat with black paint as shown on drg & Directed by GE/EIC.

BED PLY TOP STEEL : FD/E6/MAP/08 (R) S & F following components of bed including dismantling taking out carefully & replace old components of Bed. Complete all as shown on drg, specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F new 12mm thick commercial BWR ply placed in position fitted with 30/35mm long nut bolts and washers as shown in drg,

S & F new 18 mm thick MDF board exterior grade (Grade I, Type-II) ISI marked duly post -formed with 0.6 mm thick laminate in colour/shade as approved by EIC/GE placed in position for headrest duly fitted with screws as shown in drg.

S & F new 18 mm thick MDF board exterior grade (Grade I, Type-II) ISI marked duly post -formed with 0.6 mm thick laminate in colour/shade as approved by EIC/GE placed in position for footrest duly fitted with screws as shown in drg.

High Quality rubber shoes with inside MS washer at bottom 40mm high of size 38mmx38mm.

Welding work wherever required as directed by EIC

Painting to Bed Ply with one coat of synthetic enamel black paint over a coat of red-oxide primer after cleaning, dusting and scratching the entire metal surface with sand paper, making surface neat and smooth.

CHARPOY IP HARD TOP : FD/MAP-II/01 S & F following components of charpoy including dismantling taking out carefully & replace old components of charpoy. Complete all as shown on drg, specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F new 12mm thick commercial BWR Plywood of size 1916mm x 836mm fixed with nut and bolt (10 Nos). All as shown on drgs.

Replacement of Long rails with S & F New Long rails of size 1980mm x 65mm x 25mm rectungular of 16 Gauge MS pipe

Replacement of short rails with S & F New short rails of size 900mm x 65mm x 25mm rectungular of 16 Gauge MS pipe

Replacement of leg with S & F New leg of size 440mm x 32mm x 32mm rectangular of 16 Gauge MS pipe

Replacement of Stiffner with S & F New Stiffner of size 836mm x 25mm x 25mm square of 16 Gauge MS pipe

MS Clips for fixing of plywood size 60mm x 25mm x6mm thick and welded with frame of charpoy. All as shown on drgs.

Removing old UNSV 32mmx32mm rubber shoes from the legs of charpoy, S & F new 32mmx32mm rubber shoes to the legs of charpoy

Welding work wherever required as directed by EIC

Painting to charpoy with one coat of synthetic enamel black paint over a coat of red-oxide primer after cleaning, dusting and scratching the entire metal surface with sand paper, making surface neat and smooth.

CHARPOY FOLDING IP NYLON NIWAR/PLY TOP : FD-388/388(R) S & F following components of charpoy including dismantling taking out carefully & replace old components of charpoy. Complete all as shown on drg, specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing the U/S Plywood from the charpoy folding IP and S & F new 12 mm thick plywood top BWR grade ISI marked by necessary drilling and duly tightening with nut and bolts. Rest all as per drg and as directed by Engr-in-Charge and GE.

Removing the U/S flat iron stay and S & F new 25mmx 6mm flat iron stay as shown in drg.

Replacement of U/S PVC shoes with best quality PVC shoes of dia 25mm and height 30mm shall be provided to legs of charpoy. complete all per drg, specified and as directed.

Welding work wherever required as directed by EIC and GE.

Painting to all steel portion of charpoy with two coat of synthetic enamel black paint with spray machine after cleaning over a coat of red oxide/primer, dusting and scratching the entire metal surface of charpoy with sand paper, making surface neat and smooth.
