New Hydrant Equipments

Supply and installation of Lightning Arrester system unit on roof of the building / Tower / Gopuram / Vimanam by assembling the ESE Air Terminal - unit of L-model having 86mtrs radius protection with special mounting structure of 4.0 mts height GI/Alu. Pipe and 300x300x8mm MS plate, 3mts-48mm OD Class 'C' GI outer pipe, 1.8m-38mm OD inner pipe on roof mounting with concrete base with the support of fastners and with FRP adapter complete. The said ESE Air terminal (ESEAT) is the main unit of L.A. and it should satisfy and conform to IS standard norms / specifications / CPRI / ITE Testing conditions etc. for the good functioning of the system which should be, as described below.

The ESEAT (Early Streamer Emission Air Terminal) has corrosion resistant stainless chrome body made up of AISI 316 grade of height 0.50 metres capable of working in hazardous atmosphere. The Air terminal is non-radioactive and requires no special licensing. The unit is fully autonomous (no battery, no external power supply is required), collects energy from the ambient electric field. The ESEAT model has been tested in a high voltage laboratory in accordance with NFC 17 102 in order to measure the average gain in triggering. The average gain in triggering time ( ∆TS) obtained during the lab test for the offered model is 60 us.

The ESEAT works on negative as well as positively polarizes discharges. ESEAT has been tested for such discharges in Central Power Research Institute (CPRI). (Page No.37, Point No. 3 of Clause 8.6 of the Revised NFC 17-102 version 2011. L-Radius of protection: 86M Level of protection considered for the Project-II level.
