Earth work in excavation for structure in all depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads August 2004 clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring abd bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all leads and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where balsting is prohibited) all earth work in cutting/ excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width , camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. All the surplus excavated earth to be dumped at dumping site(dumping sites will be arranged by the contractor on his own cost).Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be dully compensated by him at his on cost in all cases. including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying , spreading and compacting by mechanical means crushed stone aggregates of specific sizes 63mm to 40mm(Sixty three milimetre to forty milimetre) to water bound macadum specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 KN (Kilo Newton) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening Type B 11.2mm (Eleven point two milimetres) binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 2 (Two) as per MORD Technical specification Clause 405 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro reflectorised sign as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide clause 1701.2.3 fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2mm (two milimetre) thick with area exceeding 0.9 sqm(zero point nine suqare metre) supported on mild on dia G.I. pipe firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M-15 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
