Annual Maintenance work of Bituminous pavements (Runway, Taxiway, perimeter road etc) at Raja Bhoj Airport Bhopal. (2 years)

Dismantling of flexible pavement (bituminous courses) by mechanical means and disposal of dismantled material up to a lead of 1 kilometre, as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Provinding and appliying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of Viscosity grade VG-10 (80/100) conforming IS: 73 including heating the bitumen , spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preparing the existing Runway/Road surface as per specification complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer In Charge. If the the actual quanitity of bitumen varies from the quantity assumed above, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of bitumen shall be done as per rate in actual supply voucher from nearest refinery at the time of execution . The rate of VG-10 bitumen exclusive of GST shall only be considered for payment. a) 0.35kg/sqm on bituminous surface

Providing and laying of HOT Mix Semi Dense Asphatic Concreate (SDAC) using crushed stone aggregate of quality size grading as specified and cement filler of quality as specified and Viscosit Grade Bitumen ( supplied in buik) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specifiled levels, grade and camber as per specification , drawings and as directed bt the Enhineer-In -Charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specifed values of compactiion , strength, surface accuracy with bitumen of grade VG-30 (for tendering purpose bitumen content shall be taken as 120 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% cement by weight of aggregate as filler meterial).

Providing and laying of HOT Mix Dense Asphatic Concreate (DAC) using crushed stone aggregate of quality size grading as specified and cement filler of quality as specified and Viscosit Grade Bitumen ( supplied in bulk) in proporations as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification , drawings and as directed by the Engineer-In -Charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specifed values of compaction , strength, surface accuracy complete with bitumen of grade VG-30 (for tendering purpose bitumen content shall be taken as 135 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% cement by weight of aggregate as filler meterial).

Providing and applying tack coat (Fog-seal) using rapid setting bitumen emulsion conforming to IS:8887 on bituminous surface @ 0.50 Kg/Sqm, using emulsion pressure distributer including preparing the surface & cleaning with mechanical broom. The emulsion is to be diluted with an equal quantity of water and this diluted mix is to be sprayed @ 1 ltr/sqm on prepared bituminous surface.

Providing and applying tack coat using bitumen emulsion conforming to IS:8887, using mulsion pressure distributer including preparing the surface & cleaning with mechanical broom. With rapid setting bitumen emulsion On WBM / WMM/ old disused pavement surface (concrete/bituminous) @ 0.4kg/sqm

Providing and laying a protective layer of premixed graded stone aggregate of 6.7 mm down size (full passing 11.2mm seive) over prepared surface of runway/taxiway using 224 kg of bitumen of VG 30 grade with 2.00 cum of stone aggregate per 100 sqm of runway/taxiway surface, laying with paver finisher to the required grade & camber including rolling and finishing with road roller etc. all complete. (Applying of VG-10 bitumen tack coat under protective layer to be paid seperately).

Providing and laying bituminous macadam using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density, complete as per ecificatonsand directions of Engineer-in-Charge. 50 to 100 mm average compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 3.50% (percentage by weight of total mix) prepared in Drum Type Hot Mix Plant of 60-90 TPH capacity.

Hiring of Road roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity including driver, diesel and mantenance etc. including cost of getting issued Airport Entry Permit and ADP(Airport Driving Permit) complete and as per direction of the Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing suitable Passenger vehicle of cylinder capacity minimum 1400 cc of not more than three years old with valid commerical registration number alongwith driver during the progress of work for NIGHT HOURS (From 0800 PM to 0800 AM next day). The engineering in-charge shall be the controlling officer for movement of vehicles. The rate shall be inclusive of cost of fuel, driver's salary, Overtime, mobil oil, repair & maintainance cost, charges of airport entry permits. Airport Driving Permit with per day/ night running of approx.50km. [Note: Rs. 3500/- per day shall be recovered from agency running account bill as a penalty for non availability of vehicle or break down of vahicle].

Painting runway/taxi track/apron marking with adequate nos of coats to give uniform finish with road marking paint of superior make (Nerolac or equivalent) as approved by the Engineer-in-charge, i/c cleaning the surface of ail dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc. and lining out complete. New work (Two or more coats)

Providing temporary markings on runway/taxi track/apron marking with adequate nos. of coats to give uniform finish with hydraulic lime as per directions of Engineer-in-charge, i/c cleaning the surface of ail dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc. and lining out complete. New work (Two or more coats)
