PROVN OF STANDBY DG SET FOR SECURITY LIGHTS AT UNIT AREA AT AJMER MIL STN UNDER GE NASIRABAD

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of silent Diesel Engine driven generating set 15 KVA 415 volts 3 phase 4 wire, engine as per IS: 10001/ 10002 and Alternator as per IS: 13364 complete with relay panel and switch gears for automatic starting on main failure, control panel having meter and sound proof canopy as per CPCB IV + norms and foundation etc. of capacity of 15 KVA. (A) ALTERNATOR :- Self-regulating with brushless self-excitation, 415 volt, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz, 0.8 PF, 1500 RPM, with voltage from no load to full load, foot mounted, screen protected, revolving field, self-exited Stamford Alternator conforming to IS/IEC 60034-1 drip proof with class 'H' insulation, steel ball/roller bearings at both ends of the alternator shaft, with necessary controls as recommended by the manufacturers and capable of supplying unbalanced load, with rating 15 KVA at PF at NTP conditions. (B) ENGINE:- 4 Cylinder, in line 4 stroke water cooled engine, dry type, replaceable paper element air cleaner with restriction indicator air to aftercooler, optimised turbocharger for increased altitude capabilities, HPCR fuel system with A1 class electronic governing, duel fuel filter system pre filter including water separator and Water In Fuel (WIF) sensor and main filter, integral set-mounted radiator system suitable for 50°C ambient temperature, electrical starter motor with soft start arrangement all as per BS-5514/ISO-3046,1500 RPM control gauges, RPM/hours meters etc. and capable of giving an output of 15 KVA at 0.8 PF for coupled alternator under NPT conditions complete with following :- (i) Flexible-coupling set directly mounted to engine and alternator with coupling guard. (ii) 12V DC electric starting system with 12V, 35 Ah battery, charging alternator etc. with built in regulator. (iii) Industrial type silencer including MS exhaust pipe. (iv) Vibration damper. (v) Engine over speed stop/trip switch. (vi) Radiator with fan. (vii) Dynamo for battery charging. (viii) Corrosion inhibitor coolant. (ix) Engine control panel including ammeter, battery charging indicator, battery voltage indicator, lub oil indicator Engine Oil pressure, Fuel level indicator and DG set running hours. (x) Fuel tank shall be in built in base frame of suitable capacity made up of 14/16 SWG sheet duly painted and fitted with inlet and outlet, air vent, drain valve, level indicator. The fuel tank shall be of suitable capacity for 8 hours of continuous operation all as OEM specification.

(C) SKID :- The engine and alternator shall rest on skid mounting type base frame fabricated from suitable MS frame suitably machined to ensure perfect alignment and the engine and alternator with rigid construction and necessary reinforcement to ensure minimum vibration all as per OEM recommendation. (D) CONTROL PANEL : Auto mains failure panel 415 V, 3 phase, 50 Hz made up of angle iron frame of size 50x50x6mm and 2 mm thick MS sheet vermin proof, dust proof, powder coated, consisting of following :- (i) Copper bus bar with suitable capacity with incoming/outgoing terminals. (ii) Air break, 3 pole, power contactors with standard coil voltage, 440 V, 50 Hz, Instrument fuses duly wired and ferruled, MCCB of suitable rating wih overload and short circuit protections. (iii) Microprocessor based suitable relay with suitable nos of incoming outgoing terminals for operating contractors. (iv) Suitable electronic timers for efficient operation of AMF penal. Annunciator shall be provided for indication of failure state of panel, indication for hrs shall come in the panel with 12 and 24 Volt DC operation (v) Over speed protection, over voltage protection, over current protection. (vi) Low oil pressure protection, coolant temperature, Battery voltage. E) SILENCER Hospital grade silencer suitably optimized to meet stringent noise emission standards laid down by MoEF/CPCB. (F) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE To meet stringent MoEF/CPCB norms of 75 dBA @ 1 mtr a 75% load under free field conditions. The acoustic enclosure is to be made of by CRCA sheets. High quality nose absorb and fire-retardant grade acoustic insulation material (PU Foam) complying to IS 8183. (G) EMISSION CONTROL DG Set engine should comply the following emission norms as per CPCB Guidelines:- NOx & HC< 4.00, Co<3.5, PM2.5 < 0.2 and Smoke Limit < 0.7.

item 1.00 contd/-.... Note 1 : Installation and anything extra required technically for efficient functioning of AMF Panel shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. Three sets of following documents shall be provided by the contractor:- Maintenance and operation manual for engine and alternator, spare parts catalogue, warranty/test certificate, schematic diagrams of control panels. Note 2 :- Contractor shall satisfactorily conduct load test of DG Sets for 12 hrs continuous run including run on 10% overload for 1 hour. Testing eqpt shall be arranged by the contractor. Fuel/Oil required for test shall be supplied by the Contractor and Two year servicing (DLP) is responsibility of the contractor. Note 3 :- Rate for Preparation Foundation and base of appropriate size made of appropriate material for DG set shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Supply, laying and testing cable XLPE Insulated ,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 25 Sqmm 4 core including cable glands and lugs complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and n.exc. 1.5m in depth for laying of cable and foundation in hard/dense soil rock complete all as specified and directed

Returning filling in and well ramming in layers n. exc. 25cm including spreading, leveling and watering all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soil/rock) and depositing at a distance not exceeding 50m where directed.

Supply and laying in replacement of DWC Double wall corrugated Duct Pipe of size 40 x 32 mm [sizes (OD X ID)] as cable protection pipe in trench/wall/pole including all fittings complete all as directed and as specified.

M & L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60×60cm.× 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less'than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected using galvanised iron strip 25×4mm as earthing leadby means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion and as directed including testing on completion.
