Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter in depth for laying of pipe line and getting out in soft/loose soil and in road cutting ; Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Returning, filling in excavated material/soil including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25cm in soil ; Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Removing excavated material/surplus soil not exceeding 50 meters and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 meter above starting point ; Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Material and Labour for Cutting hard standing/road not exceeding 1.5m deep and making good with and including PCC (1:3:6) type C2 (using 40mm graded aggregates) and removal of debris and making the damaged areas uniform as per existing ; Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Dismantling and taking out the Old unserviceable complete Sluice valves of size 150mm bore, from the valve pit and Material and Labour for repairing of same by opening up the whole valve and seggregate all spare parts and refacing, regrinding all the required items, clean whole valve and make the sluice valve functional to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge and refixing the same at its original location after repair ; Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
All as per ser item No. 05 above but for sluice valve of size 100mm bore ; Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Material and Labour for repairing of leakages CI/DI pipes of size 100mm to 200 mm bore by replacing the Tees, bends, sockets and providing the other materials required at site such as lead joint, tyton joint etc., to complete the job including excavation and other earth work, returning, refilling & removal of surplus soil and as described in notes below complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE: (a) The cost of CI/DI fittings will be measured & paid seperately under relevant item, whereas cost of lead joint/tyton rubber joint shall be included in the quoted rate (b) One supervisor will report to the JE in charge on daily basis along with complaint register, complaint slip in duplicate which shall also be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost for recording/monitoring of water supply complaints. (c) All minor complaints shall be completed within 24 hours and all major complaints shall be completed within 48 hours (d) A penalty of Rs. 200/per complaint will be levied on the contractor for all the pending complaints beyond the completion period as specified in S.No (c) above. (e) Contractor shall arrange at his own expense the security passes for himself, his supervisor and his plumbers and labours as per stn security policy.

Dismantling and taking down the unserviceable Sluice valves any size/any class, in position by opening of bolts, nuts & washers; checking, repairing of water leakage from sluice valves, air release valve, NRV etc., any sizes in different locations under GE Amritsar including replacement of required size of gland packing, worn out synthetic ball, etc. and making leak proof, reassembling the same after repair and refixing the same in its original location including cleaning the valve chamber of any dimensions by removing water, bushes and any other unwanted materials complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE: Cost of gland packing, synthetic ball will be included in the quoted rate
Material and Labour for cutting existing CI/DI water mains of 150mm/200mm dia (in position) for insertion of new tees, branch connections include for turning water off and on and draining and refilling ; Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: Cost of CI/DI fittings shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant item.
All as per ser item No. 12 above but for CI/DI water mains of 100mm dia ; Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Material & labour for DI/CI fittings conforming to IS:9523 for flanged/spigot socketed type DI pieces special any type upto 150mm dia bore such as bends (any type of radious and angle) tapers any type (straight bend increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) Tee pieces, single branch, 'Y' junctions, doubled branch, cross (all sockets and sockets & spigots), collars, caps and plugs ; Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Supply, lay and testing Ductile Iron pipes pressure with spigot & socket ends of 150mm bore class K-9 centrifugally cast conforming to IS:8329/2000 blast furnace slag cement portland cement properties suitable for push-on jointing with inside surface cement mortar lining, with internal metallic zinc coating and external black bitumen coating, duly ISI marked complete laid in trenches or under the roads, with and including tyton rubber gasket push-on joints as required at site complete including dismantling & taking out old Unserviceable water supply pipe line any type from trenches ; Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE FOR SER ITEM NO. 15 & 16: (a) The cost of DI fitting shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item. (b) Excavation & other earth work will be measured and paid separately under relevant items.
All as per ser item No. 15 above but for DI pipe of 100mm dia ; Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Cutting existing GI/steel tubings in position for alteration/additions or branch connections etc. all as specified of size 80mm bore ; Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and Labour for preparation of old painted external surfaces of CI/DI/GI pipe of any size, not exc. 60cm girth including holderbats, distance pieces, etc. (length measured over bends, branches etc.) with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of colour as directed by Engr-in-Charge, over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer after necessary scrapping off old surface using wire brush inside the Pump House Area complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and Fixing in replacement of MS plain black sheet of 1.60mm thick in wall cladding, steel gates and similar work, for valve chamber cover cut to size, holes punched, including round headed screws, clout nails or riveting, welding and fixed to and including steel framing of required size with plain 40mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitred angles, etc., complete all as specified and directed
Material and Labour Surface excavation n.exc 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep in soft/loose soil including clearing away all grass vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots, and trees not exceeding 30 cm girth and getting out rubbish upto a distance of 50 metres outside the periphery of the area under clearance including levelling of the area complete including necessary glyphosate 41% SL Glykol Herbicide required to remove vegatationa in the entire pump house complex within the fencing ; Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: (a) T&P required for this job to be brought by the contractor. (b) Rate of necessary glyphosate 41% SL Glykol Herbicide required to remove vegatation will be included in the quoted rate
Supply and fixing glow sign board of size 750mm x 1000mm x 100mm fabricated made out from GI sheet of size not less than 2.0mm thick for all four sides and back side of the board and for front side using acrylic sheet with white colour vinyl film with computerised cut/printed letters/pictures as required size/shape as approved by Engr-in-Charge including provn of 04 Nos. LED tube light fittings 2'x10 Watts fixed inside the board complete all prewired with 3 core flexible copper conductor cable and including welding griding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary nuts and bolts on inside wall of the MES installation/ pump house building with angle iron of size 40mm x 40mm x 6mm with nut/bolts or grounting on wall complete and writting letters of installation details, flow diagrams, water distribution area, MES logo as per direction/sample etc., ; Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: Cost of service cables of suitable size required to connect the glow sign board from switch board and testing will be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
Material and labour for construction of brick masonary pits (230mm thick wall) of 900x600x1000mm internal dimension (bottom PCC floor of the pit should be minimum 30cms below the bottom surface of sluice valve flange to provide sufficient working space), bottom floor of the pit be constructed in PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 15cms thick with 20mm stone aggregate for foundation, brick wall with sub class 'B' bricks built in CM 1:6, inner and exposed surfaces and bottom floor of the pit should be plastered in cement mortar (1:4) 15mm thick, PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for coping. The sluice valve and other fittings should be housed in center of the pit. The vertices of the pit should in right angle and chamfered. The top cover of the pit will be made out of MS sheet 3mm thick with angle iron frame made out of MS angle 50mmx50mmx6mm with galvanized steel hinges two Nos. and locking arrangements duly painted with two coats of water resistant synthetic enameled paint over one coat of red oxide including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil complete all as shown in Drg No. CEJZ/TD-1060 Sheet 1/3 to 3/3.

Supply and Fixing MCCB triple pole & neutral (4 pole) 200 Amp, 415 volts, 50 Hz, having thermal setting range 70% to 100% and adjustable magnetic setting and breaking capacity 36 kA and making incoming and outgoing connections including taking down old Unserviceable one from site complete all as specified and directed.
