REPAIRS AND RECARPETING TO INTERNAL ROAD IN RESTRICTED AREA AT NEW DELHI UNDER GE E/M BASE HOSPITAL DELHI CANTT-110010

M&L for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 Sqm each, including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder @ 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Milling up existing bituminous carpet of any description, Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam, surfaces up to 50 mm deep, in area exc 400 Sqm, by using milling machine including transportation & removal of debris out side the premises as & where directed by concerned Municipal Corporation complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of black top surfaces, by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete, 40mm consolidated thickness, with 6% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity complete all as specified & as directed. Notes: (a) As a result of job mix formula, quantity of binder content if works out to more than 6% then no extra payment shall be made to the contractor and in case its quantity works out to less than 6% then minimum binder content 6% given in BOQ shall be provided. (b) Design mix shall be carried out from any Govt Approved Lab by the contractor and shall be got approved from GE before commencement of work. (c) Bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete shall be brought form hot mix plant approved by GE. For obtaining the approval of Hot mix plant it is the responsibility of the contractor to submit the requisite details of Hot mix plant form which he intend purchase the bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete as desired by GE for approval of Hot mix plant.

M & L for preparation of new black top surfaces of road and applying one coat of retro-reflective thermoplastic road marking paint of grade II 2, 2.50mm thick for longer durability, confirming to clause No 803.4 of "Specifications for Road & Bridge works" issued by MORT&H (Ministry of Road Transport & Highways) including provision of glass beads, paint material shall be conforming to MOST (Ministry of Surface Transport) complete all as specified & as directed. (Make: APCO MARK of Asian Paints or equivalent of Make mentioned in PS).

S&F in repair factory made, precast, cement concrete kerb stone, M-25 grade, size 300mm x 300 mm x 150 mm of approved pattern, set & jointed in cement mortar 1:4, on and including 100 mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4 bedding, including necessary earth work etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair 75 cm long road side delineator, ABS round body, fitted with two Nos, 100 mm dia, high reflective reflector, made out of PMMA and mounted on MS pipe of 50 mm dia, duly powder coated, antirust & antitheft steel net, fixed on 600mm height pole with retroreflective tapes in red or yellow in colour, including fixing on PCC Block foundation of minimum size 30X30X30 cm, including necessary excavation in post hole & earthwork, PCC 1:2:4, type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregates complete all as specified and as directed. (Make: Model DA 952 GP of Dark Eye or equivalent Model of Makes mentioned in PS)

S&F in repair road stud, aluminium alloy and PC construction solar powered by MMO crystal solar panel type of battery and high capacity NICD rechargeable battery view distance approx 100 m leds 0.10mm 3 pieces each side and total six pieces shall be used for high brightness six different colour backup 12 hrs of continuous lighting at night, standard quality solar stud complete all as specified and as directed. (Make: Cat-507 of Sun Eye 3 or equivalent Model of Makes mentioned in PS)

S&F in repair aluminium alloy body stud/cat eye of size 110x120x23.5mm for road surface complete all as specified and as directed. (Make: Model DA 972 of Dark Eye or equivalent Model of Makes mentioned in PS)

M&L for preparation of new brick or concrete surfaces of any description, over 10cm girth or width, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint, over & including a coat of cement base primer complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Item No 11.00 here in before but one coat of synthetic enamel paint on old surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for taking out old manhole cover, raising the manhole by 20cm by using sub class 'B' bricks in cement mortar 1:4, including rendering External & internal surface in cement mortar 1:4 on new & old brick work as required, including taking down existing plaster etc & refixing manhole cover & finished at true road level complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F in replacement Cast iron work grade FG 150, unmachined, in brackets, gully traps, gratings, railing, frames, manhole covers, fire and soot doors, dampers, stop valve boxes, gate stops, parts of ranges, balusters and similar articles complete all as specified and as directed.
