Repairs to 50kVA oil immersed, manually operated, 3-phase voltage stabilizer. A. Preliminary Works: • Disconnecting all incoming and outgoing electrical connections of the voltage stabilizer. • Opening and removal of top lid for access to internal components. • Careful dismantling of voltage regulator, core and associated internal parts. B. Dismantling, Inspection & Fault Rectification: • Dismantling of voltage regulator and core assembly. • Detailed inspection and diagnosis of faults in windings and magnetic core. • Rectification of identified electrical and mechanical defects. C. Rewinding of Damaged Phase Legs: Rewinding of 01 Nos. damaged phase legs by removal of burnt/damaged winding wire. •Rewinding with new electrolytic grade copper conductor suitable for 50 kVA rating. • Providing and fixing new insulating sleeves, cotton tape, varnishing and impregnation of windings. • Drying and baking of rewound coils to ensure proper insulation. D. Transformer Oil Topping-Up: •Topping up of stabilizer with fresh transformer oil up to 20 liters. •Transformer oil to conform to IS:335 specifications. •Rates include rebate on old scrap material (approx. 15 kg), and to and fro charges from WSS to workshop and vice versa. •Connecting back the repaired voltage stabilizer to the electrical system and testing of the voltage stabilizer on no load and then on full load.
