REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OVERHAULING TO CEILING FAN GEYSERS EXHAUST FAN AND MISC EM SERVICES AT AKHNOOR UNDER GE NORTH AKHNOOR

M&L for taking down of ceiling fan of size 1200/1400mm for safety checking by replacing defective parts/painting/rewinding and re-fixing the ceiling fan after repairs,all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. (Note:- The replacement of unserviceable items like capacitor, Bearings, Bush, Canopy, down rod etc.shall be made as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge which will be measured and paid separately under respective items as Supply only. However, parts of minor nature such as screws, lugs, insulation tape, nuts, bolts, washers etc after cleaning the metal surface, greasing/lubricant etc to make it functional and making connection by replacing PVC insulated unsheathed cable of copper conduct of size 1.5 Sqmm from ceiling rose/ connector fan (minimum 0.50 Mtr length) including cost of labour for above replacement are deemed to be inclusive in quoted rate all as directed. Note for item No 1: The following items shall be deemed to be inclusive in the unit rate quoted against Sl Item No 1:-

(b) The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having qualified in ITI ( electrician Trade), documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced, before commencement of work. (c) Replacement of unserviceable parts like rubber bush, clamps, bolts, nuts, washers, safety pin, bearing etc will be paid under respective item here-in-after as supply only through proper documentation. (d) The entire job will be carried out in Akhnoor station and necessary documents showing qtr No, bldg No supported with user signature shall be prepared as per format directed by Engr-in-charge and will be deposited to concerned JE (E/M) within 24 hrs. (e) Maitenance of documents ie complaint slip/complaint register & other stationery required shall be of contractor's responsibility. (f) Necessary T&P such as ladder, required manpower for taking down and refixing after repair shall be of contractor's responsibility. (g) All types of T&P, PVC insulation tape, minor nuts, bolts, washers etc required for maintaining the services shall be provided by contractor without any cost to the department. (h) Any fan found defective/not working shall be brought to AGE E/M store yard & re-fixed after repairing.

(j) In case of major defects, entire job shall be completed within 10 days from the date of registration of complaint, failing which penalty charges @100/- per day shall be recovered. (k) In case of minor defects, entire job shall be completed within12 hrs from the time of registration of complaint, failing which penalty charges @ 50/- per job shall be recovered. (l) The contractor shall maintain a record of all urgent/ routine works and if the work is repeated due to poor workmanship, he will be liable to repair the same without any extra expenditure to the Govt.

Supply only 'U' clamp for hanging ceiling fan with all nuts, bolts and washers.

Supply only outer body of ceiling fan of any size

Supply only blades (made of aluminum) suitable for 1400mm sweep ceiling fan of any make with set of screws complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only safety pins 40mm to 50mm long with nuts and bolt with washers for ceiling fan of size 1200/1400mm

Supply only steel screw (for fixing of fan blade) as per site requirement for any make of ceiling fan complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only blades (made of aluminum) suitable for 1200mm sweep ceiling fan of any make with set of screws complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only down rod for ceiling fan with 15mm dia (of length not less than 90cm and not more than 120cm) with hanging clamps for ceiling fan complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only down rod for ceiling fan with 15mm dia (of length not less than 180cm and not more than 210cm) with hanging clamps for ceiling fan complete all as specified and directed.

M&L painting the ceiling fan 1200mm /1400 mm sweep with one coat of syntetic enamel paint as existing colour and writing the MES No- as directed by Engr in Charge.(Taking down of fan, and re-hanging shall be measured under item No.1.) Note:- Painting of ceiling fan shall be done inside MES complex only.

Material and labour for winding of ceiling fan motor 1200 mm sweep of any make with super enameled copper winding wire of existing gauge (wt of copper winding wire per fan 350 to 500 gms) including cutting and getting out old burnt winding, sleeve work, varnishing with E class insulation varnish, threading, connections with twin core copper flexible wire of size 0.0076mm of length not more than one meter with each fan complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Motor shall be wound with machine inside MES complex only. (ii) Old burnt wire shall be contractor’s property and necessary credit shall be recovered as per credit shedule. (iii)taking down of fan,and re hanging measured under item No. 1 seperately.

Supply and fixing in replacement of unserviceable energy efficeint Ceiling fan 1200 mm sweep, energy efficient ISI mark with 5 star rating (BLDC) 230 Volts AC 50 Hz, single phase including provision of fixing arrangement, nut and bolt and flexible 3 core of size 1.5 sqmm not less than 0.5 m long complete including taking down existing one, writing MES No with synthetic enamel paint all as specified and as directed. Make : Havells cat Part No. ES Neo or equivalent in Bajaj/ Orient./Halonix Note:- (a) The contractor shall given a written guarantee of minimum two years from completion of work. (b) Old Unserviceable ceiling fan shall be deposited to MES store yard.

Taking down of exhaust fan any size/capacity after disconnecting cable connection, and refixing same in original position after necessary repair/over hauling including replacement of parts of minor nature such as screws, lugs, insulation tape, nuts, bolts, washers etc after cleaning the metal surface, greasing/lubricant etc to make it functional and making connection by replacing PVC insulated unsheathed cable of copper conduct of size 1.5 Sqmm from ceiling rose/ connector fan (minimum 0.50 Mtr length) are deemed to be inclusive in quoted rate all as specified and as directed. (Note:- Repair, rewinding, over hauling and materials to be replaced are measured seperately.) Note: The following shall be deemed to be inclusive in the unit quoted rate :- (a) In each job checking of functioning of fan including its connections, cleaning of fan, greasing of fan, mechanical check i.e. tightening of loose screw , nuts, bolts, are inclusive in unit quoted rate. (b) The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having qualified in ITI ( electrician Trade), documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced, before commencement of work.

(c) Defected unserviceable part like fan bush, bearing etc will be paid under respective item here-in-after as supply only through proper documentation. (d) The entire job will be carried out in Akhnoor and necessary documents showing qtr No, bldg No supported with user signature shall be prepared as per format directed by Engr-in-charge and will be deposited to concerned JE (E/M) within 24 hrs. (e) Necessary complaint slip/complaint register & other stationery required shall be contractor responsibility. (f) Necessary T&P such as ladder, helper shall be contractor responsibility. (g) All types of T&P, PVC insulation tape, minor nuts, bolts, washers etc required for maintaining the services shall be provided by contractor without any cost to the department. (h) Any fan found defective/not working shall be brought to AGE E/M store yard & re-fixed after repairing.

Taking down aluminum/copper point wiring on & including hard wood battens, surface conduit and board/ blocks etc or through conduits for light, socket or power point, fan point complete (Taking down of fittings such as switches, sockets, bells, ceiling rose, holders , regulators light fittings, MCB, lamps etc shall be measured and paid seperately) and making good the disturbed plaster surfaces of wall, floor, ceiling and apply 2 coats of white wash/distemper to match with the existing surface and removing materials and debris to reinstate the premise neat and clean complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for point wiring for 5 Amp switch /sockets independent using approved colour coding as per IS with 1.5 sqmm single core PVC insulated, unsheathed FRLS cable 1100 volts grade ISI 694 marked, multi stranded with copper conductor drawn through and incl concealed PVC conduit heavy duty, 19/20mm dia, ISI marked with accessories in wall/roof/ceiling etc incl terminal boxes fabricated with 1.6mm MS/ cast iron sunken boxes duly painted with two coats of anticorrosive paint over a coat of red oxide primer on surface in touch with wall and synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide on other side, covered with 3mm thick plastic laminated sheet for mounting switches, regulators, sockets etc including 1.5 sqmm (nominal area) copper conductor PVC insulated, unsheathed, multi stranded FRLS cable as earth wire and connected to earth dolly complete all as specified and as directed. Taking down and dismantling geyser of any make and cap 25/50 ltrs & taking out water inlet outlet assly, removing glass wool and taking out the inner tank, descaling the assembly and tank , detecting the leakage, welding / brazing the defected part , repacking the glass wool and refixing the same after making it funcional including replacement of worn out nuts bolts washer etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: Cost of material and labour for providing new items shall be measured under relevant items of sch A.
