Note for all items of this BOQ: - Contractor special is invited that at site DG set of Make:- Kirloskar / Cummins / Greaves / Ruston are installed. Make of spear part of DG set shall be as recommended by OEM, except for the items make specified under respective item(s) of this BOQ.

Phase I

Deployment of manpower / tools etc for carrying out Preventive Maintenance / routine maintenance as 'B' check norms for DG Set of capacity 7.5 KVA to 40 KVA ( Make:- Kirloskar / Cummins / Greaves / Ruston) through authorised / approved agency by OEM, comprising Inspection and checking as per B-check parameter i.e. lubrication service, lube oil filter, cooling system, fuel system, fuel filter, servicing of air filter and bypass filter, servicing and testing carried out of batteries, engine including replacement of oil filters, fuel filters, air filter, 'O' rings and drain out the old engine oil and filling up with the new engine oil including testing of diesel generator complete all as specified and directed by the Engr- in- charge

Note For Item No 1 to 4: (i) Engine oil, spares parts will be measured and paid separately as supply only under relevant items of this BOQ. (ii) Cleaning & maintenance of Radiator & Oil cooler will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this BOQ. (iii) The contractor shall submit documentary evidence that maintenance / servicing done by OEM of DG set and same shall be defaced by Engineer-in-Charge.

Phase II

M&L for disconnecting the oil cooler from DG Set of capacity 7.5 to 40 KVA (Make:- Kirloskar / Cummins / Greaves / Ruston) from the the existing locations by removing of all mechanical connections and taking down from the engine for complete servicing, opening into parts and cleaning thoroughly by using chemical cleaning and pressure testing, refixing back to its original positions with 'O' rings / gaskets complete all as specified and directed by the Engg- in- Charge

M&L for disconnecting the oil cooler from DG Set of capacity 55 to 100 KVA (Make:- Kirloskar / Cummins / Greaves / Ruston) from the the existing locations by removing of all mechanical connections and taking down from the engine for complete servicing, opening into parts and cleaning thoroughly by using chemical cleaning and pressure testing, refixing back to its original positions with 'O' rings / gaskets complete all as specified and directed by the Engg- in- Charge

M&L for disconnecting all the incoming and out going rubber hoses and drain out the water from the choked radiator assembly of DG sets of capacity 7.5 to 40 KVA, taking down the radiator assembly by unscrewing all mechanical connections from the existing mounting, transporting the same to civil workshop for carrying out Chemical cleaning, opening the top and bottom covers of the radiator assembly cleaning thoroughly the chocked pipe of the radiator, cleaning of all the deposited sediments in the pipes / tubes including arresting of leakage by means of soldering, brazing and re-fixing the same to its original position with suitable size of nut, bolt and washers etc, complete all as specified and directed Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No 23 above for carrying out all the work mention under item No 23 above and including replacement of old unserviceable copper core and fins completely with new Copper Core and fins, pressure testing, complete all as specified and directed Engineer-in-Charge. Note : - (i) Repair maintinance of rediater work shall be carried out through authorised agency by OEM. (ii) The contractor shall submit documentary evidence that maintenance / servicing done by OEM of DG set and same shall be defaced by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for supply, fabricate, installation, testing and Commissioning LT Indoor panel, weather proof, dust / vermin proof, powder coated, made out of 2.0 mm thick CRCA Sheet, double openable door and necessary hinges, IE-65 distribution pillar CPRI approved manufacturer, IP-65 Protection, 415 V with necessary double compression Copper, SS gland for incoming and outgoing cable suitable size PCC (1:2:4) TYPE B1 (Using 20 mm Graded aggregate) raised base with control internal wiring etc and Comprising of Cooling fan and other accessories as mentioned below:-

(a) Air Circuit Breaker 800 Amps with Microprocessor , 3 pole, 415 Volts, 50 Hz ICU 50 KA thermally adjustable between 70-100% - 01 Nos.( Incoming for 500 KVA Dg Set) Make- Havells Cat Part No.-IHATE1E080** or Equivalent cat No of Make C&S, L&T

(ii) Indication lamp 22.5 mm dia LED type, 240 Volts AC at the incommer of the unit to show 3 phase availability at the outgoing of incommer with back up protection by 2 Amp MCB.

(iii) Inspection lamp 50 Watt with movable non ferrous chromium plated arm fitted on topside of inner shell.

Note- The unit rate includes the PCC work for the foundation and fixing the panel at requisite location all as Specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for overhauling of DG set of capacity 125 to 250 KVA (Make of Engine: Greaves and Make of Alternator:Stamford) by opening complete engine replacing worn- out / unserviceable parts like connecting rod, piston, piston rings, gear and Pinnion set etc, and reassembling the engine, coupling engine with alternator including alignment and testing and commissioning of DG set complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Note:- (i) Engine oil, spares parts will be measured and paid separately as supply only under relevant items of this BOQ. (ii) Cleaning & maintenance of Radiator & Oil cooler will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this BOQ. (iii) Overhauling shall be carried out by authorised agency by OEM, the contractor shall submit documentary evidence for the same and same shall be defaced by Engineer-in-Charge.

(iv) The Quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of engine head grinding, intake and exhaust valve grinding/ seating , testing and calibration of fuel injection pump and injectors

(v) Diesel for testing purpose shall be supplied by the contractor without any extra cost to department

M&L for cleaning the carbon deposits inside the stack / cachiminy of exhaust manifold and repairing / welding of outer damage surge and insulated the same with asbestos rope complete all as spd and directed by Engr-in charge.
