S/R of roads in NDMC area.

Cold milling asphaltic surface/pavement (removal) of BC/DBM/Mastic-or any asphaltic material from road surface/concrete surface in thickness of 40 to 110 mm so as to maintain surface below in shape, slope and undamaged workable lay fresh layer of asphaltic material in line, level size depth as directed by engineer in charge including transportation and disposal of removed material from site for all lift and leads, cleaning of surface and making good of asphalting work including local repair or damage/distress occurred after milling etc. complete as per method and machinery prescribed in IRC.

Providing and laying Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equipped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. 50 to 100 mm average compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 5% (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 2% (percentage by weight of Aggregate) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity.

Providing and applying tack coat using bitumen emulsion conforming to IS: 8887, using emulsion pressure distributer including preparing the surface & cleaning with mechanical broom. With rapid setting bitumen emulsion On bituminous surface @ 0.25kg/m2

Providing and laying Bituminous concrete using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equipped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction and density as per specification, complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. 40/50 mm compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 5.5% (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 3% (percentage by weight of Aggregate) and waste plastic additive @ 8% (percentage by weight of bitumen) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100- 120 TPH capacity.

Providing and laying STONE MATRIX ASPHALT using stone aggregates of specified grading premixed with Bitumen Binder and Filler using stabilizing additive @ 0.30% by weight of total mix, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equipped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller to achieve the desired compaction including spreading of aggregate of size 1 to 3mm applied over the hot surface @ 1 to 2 Kg per square meter immediately after completion, complete as per direction of Engineer-in Charge based on approved job mix formula. Density as per specification 50 mm compacted thickness with bitumen grade PMB-40 @ 6.20 % (Percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 10% (percentage by weight of aggregate) prepared in Batch type HOT MIX PLANT of 100-120 TPH capacity.

Providing and laying micro surfacing course comprising of dry fine aggregate/graded stone chippings confirming to type -III grading of specifications polymer modified cationic slow setting bitumen emulsion having 60% binder content and 3.6% polymer ordinary Portland cement chemical additives and water in the following provisions. a) Fine aggregate confirming to type-III grading @11 kg/sqm of the road surface coverage. b) Polymer modified cationic slow setting bitumen emulsion @ 13% by weight of fine aggregate. c) Cement (OPC) @ 1.5% by weight of fine aggregate. d) Chemical adhesive @1.25% by weight of fine aggregate. e) Water as per requirement to make the max. flow & speed properly. The micro surfacing mix includes proportioning mixing and laying using mechanized mixing and laying unit including cleaning of road surface all complete as per specification and the direction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retroreflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.

Credit for salvage value of the milled material i.e. Stone aggregate, bituminous material etc against item no. 1 above. The milled material should be taken over and removed from the site within a day (full quantity of road milled above shall be measured for credit.
