84194/E8 REPAIR / MAINTENANCE OF CENTRAL AC PLANT OF NEW FAMILY WARD AT AIR FORCE HOSPITAL JORHAT UNDER GE (AF) JORHAT

M&L for preventive and comprehensive maintenance of Central AC chiller plant of capacity 3 x 26 TR strictly through OEM (i.e. M/S Blue Star) for the plant and equipment of Model No. XWC25-025AR2. The scope of work is as under Section I & Section II SECTION I 1. All equipment under contract will be serviced four times during contract period as per standard checklists 2. All breakdown calls will be attended to during the contract period. SECTION II 1. Checking the functioning of chiller unit/Air handling unit/Pumps/Cooling tower/Controls and such equipment covered under the contract. 2. Free replacing of defective/worn - out parts with new or repaired parts for compressor/thermostat/cut outs based on our assesment. 3. Repairing of equipment as listed in the equipment list at site/service station as the case may be. 4. Descaling of condensors/chemical cleaning of evaporator coils/replacement of pre-filters based on our assessment & working parameters of the plant. 5. Replenshing refrigerant gas and compressor oil in the system arising out of system defect, excluding sealed comppressor. 6. checking the compressor for its proper working. 7. Annual pumping down and restarting as & when required. 8. Checking the microprocessor control panel, control boards, transducers of packaged chillers/condensing unit for their correctness and replace if necessary. 9. Replacing of parts due to normal wear & tear.

Supply, Assembly and Erection of 22 Gauge GI sheet with TDF flange rectangular / square duct (as per existing size & shape) made out of 'L" shaped hollow profile, duly factory boxed incl all acdcessories such as cornet, cleat, carriage bolt, gasket and appropriate sealqant on longitudinal joints etc complete includind taking down old unserviceable sheet with TDF flange complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for duct insulation 25 mm thick with resin bonded fibre glass wool roll of density 24 Kg/cum with factory laminated aluminium vapour barrier, comprising with the following:- (a) Cleaning the duct surface (to be insulated) by scrapping carefully with wire brush etc to make the surface completely free of millscale, dirt dust, grease and other foreign taterials, taking special care so that all duct joints are sealed against any leakage. (b) Applying rubber based adhesive CPRX compound. (c) Sealing of all longitudinqal joints and circular overlaps with and including aluminium foil tape 50 mm wide to make the insulation leakproof. (d) Securing the insulation with and including mechanically fastened nylon /steel straps of size 12mm /50mm at maximum intervals of 1.2 mtr.

M&L for mild steel frame work for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated form structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers,, welding, bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed including two coats of synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying in repair 25 Sqmm, 4 core XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded galvanized steel strip armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing with Galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level connected to GI strip 25 x 4 mm as earthing lead means of nut, bolts and washers made out of galvanised iron mild steel and 40 mm dia GI pipe "light grade" for protection of earth lead and connected to test point or as directed including PCC Pit in Cement Concrete 1:3:6 (20mm Graded Stone Aggregate) and RCC Cover of size 450X450X50mm in RCC 1:2:4 (20mm Graded Stone Aggregate) rein-forced with and including 8.0mm dia TMT Bars @ 100mm centre to centre both ways, Galvanised Iron Wire Mesh, Funnel, Galvanised Iron Watering Pipe 20mm Bore (dia) Medium Grade, necessary Excavation in Soft/ Loose Soil, returning, filling in and removal of surplus Soil upto a distance of 50.00 mtr and all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 5 of MES Schedule Part-I and Testing on completion, including taking down old unserviceable earthing complete all as specified and as directed.
