REPAIR/ PRINTING/ REPLACEMENT OF STEEL FURNITURE AND FIXING OF PLY TOP ON DIFFERENT TYPES OF CHARPOY BED HARD AND TABLE TOP AT VARIOUS AIR FORCE STN UNDER BSO OF GE (AF) GURGAON

Charpoy GI Pipe(Drg No FD-220): M&L for repair to charpoy GI pipe consisting of following works:- (a) Taking out existing u/s ply wood from charpoy GI pipe complete all as specified and as directed. (b) Supply and fixing of 02 Nos of flat iron of size 40mmx5mm of length equal to width of ply wood/Charpoy GI pipe, bending the flat iron to the shape required to fix tightly to GI pipe with mild steel nuts, bolts 62 to 65mm long, 6mm dia and washers including necessary drilling into GI pipe and fitted in the top portion of flat iron complete all as specified and as directed. (c) Drilling holes 2 Nos each in long rails, 02 Nos each in short rails and 02 Nos at centre of ply wood complete all as specified and as directed. (d) Supply and fixing 12 mm thick ply wood BWR type of size 1980x900mm and fixed to GI pipe frame with nut bolts 6mm dia 62 to 65mm long Make of ply wood Green/Duro/Archit with ISI marked complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down unserviceable/broken long rails of charpoy GI pipe and S&F new long rails of charpoy made out of GI pipe 32 mm dia bore medium grade ISI marked and approved by Engr-in-Charge including threading as shown on drg complete all as specified and as directed. Make of pipe Prakash Surya/Tata/Zindal

Taking down unserviceable/broken short rails of charpoy GI Pipe and fixing the short rail (Short rail shall be made from long rail obtained from serial item No 1.01 above) including cutting and threading complete all as specified and shown on drg.

Taking down unserviceable legs of charpoy GI pipe and fixing legs in charpoy (Legs shall be made from short rail obtained from serial items 1.02 above) including cutting and threading. The bottom of legs shall be provided with Cap (Plug) complete all as specified and shown on drg

Taking out unserviceable elbow 3 way 32 mm dia bore of charpoy GI pipe and S&F of new elbow 32mm dia bore ISI marked as approved by Engr-in-Charge, completed all as specified and shown on drg.

Taking out unserviceable check nut from Charpoy GI pipe and Supply and fixing new check nut suitable for charpoy GI pipe as approved by Engr-in-Charge, completed all as specified and shown on drg.

Charpoy Folding IP Hard Top (Drg No.388 R) Taking out old UNSV ply wood, Supply and fixing 12 mm thick ply wood BWR type of size 1980x900mm and fixed to charpoy folding with nut bolts 6mm dia 45 to 50mm long, Make of ply wood Green/Duro/Archit with ISI marked

Replacement of U/S PVC shoes with best quality PVC shoes of dia 25mm and height 30mm shall be provided to legs of charpoy. complete all per drg, specified and as directed.

M&L for one coat to old and two coats to new surfaces of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade and quality over a coat of red-oxide primer by means of spray painting (internally & externally complete) including preparation of steel/iron surface by removing of old paint by using grinding machine, taking out dents & filling with putty. After thoroughly preparing the surfaces of the Charpoy Folding IP Ply Top paint them through a spray machine to obtain a high gloss finish similar to new furniture (Make of Paint: Asian/Berger/Nerolac).

Removing the U/S flat iron stay and S & F new 25mmx 6mm flat iron stay as shown in drg.
