Demolition of PCC block masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc., but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided forcomplete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster of any description on brick or stone walls etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cutting out existing cracks in wall and forming a groove of size 75mm width and 40mm depth, cleaning the groove with mechanical air blower and filling the groove with cement concrete (1:1:2) (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) after placing chicken wire mesh of 75mm width inside and all along the groove and finishing the surface even and smooth complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for pre-cast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks made up of (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate), masonry exceeding 10cm in width and setting in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for pre-cast reinforced cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in cover slabs chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, hangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces set in CM(1:4) complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: Reinforcement will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this BOQ.

M&L for plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including necessary form work, exposed surfaces of concrete finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for mild steel framed work such as gates, grills, gratings, etc., with ornamental and intricate design, ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters, walk ways, railings, framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for mild steel rolled sections as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters, purlins where connected to common rafters and running rails and guides for sliding doors, fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates etc., conforming to Fe-410-W (Gde E-250) Quality 'A' complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 100mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub base of floors complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for glossy finished chequered cement concrete tiles 30cm x 30cm x 25mm thick, made of grey cement and pigments, machine pressed as in flooring, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry laid over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 10mm thick in CM (1:6) on fair faces of brick work or concrete, surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in two coats 5mm thick in CM (1:4) mixed with integral water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement over 10mm thick in CM (1:6) on fair faces of brick work or concrete, surfaces finished fair and even complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: Water proofing compound will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound.

M&L for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of first quality over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old steel and iron surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, over 10cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of first quality complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of walls of any description over 10cm girth or width, not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls of any description over 10cm girth or width, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of external walls of any description and applying two coats of weather proof antifungal (exterior grade) acrylic emulsion over a coat of primer from the same manufacturer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old plastered surfaces of walls by complete removal of existing treatment by scraping, washing, cleaning etc., and applying two coats of weather proof antifungal (exterior grade) acrylic emulsion over a coat of primer from the same manufacturer after filling the cracks with filler complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old plastered surfaces of walls by removal of vegetation/fungus etc., and applying one coat of weather proof antifungal (exterior grade) acrylic emulsion after filling the cracks with filler complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old plastered surfaces of walls and applying one coat of cement based paint after filling the cracks/holes with filler and levelling the undulations if any with cement putty complete all as specified and as directed.
