Cooking of lunch, making tea, snacks etc., by deploying suitable person having knowledge of all cooking activities at the Departmental Canteen including cost of all the labour, taxes, accessories such as uniform/over coat, Appron, Head cap, gloves etc., all as per the direction & instruction of canteen in charge. NOTE : 1 Person required for full day.

Cleaning/ washing of all types of departmental canteen utensils, crockeries, stoves, hoods, tables, chairs, platforms etc., including assisting in cooking like cutting of vegetables, grinding of ingredients etc., and serving of lunch, tea, snacks etc., including cost of all the labour, taxes, accessories such as uniform/over coat, Appron, Head cap, gloves etc., all as per the direction & instruction of canteen in charge. NOTE : 2 Persons required for full day.

GENERAL NOTES 1. The workers should have experience in cooking, serving the food, Cleaning/ washing of all types of departmental canteen utensils, crockeries, stoves, hoods, tables, chairs, platforms etc. to perform their duties satisfactorily. They should be skilled, trained, strong, healthy and medically fit, alert, polite, courteous and able to perform their duties diligently. The said workers should be properly dressed and disciplined. Any discourteous behaviour on their part may lead to termination of the contract. 2. The contractor shall provide Uniforms to his workers having name of Contractor with address and telephone number. All the workers must wear uniform while on duty. 3. The tenderers are advised to visit the site and understand the prevailing site conditions, scope of the work etc.before quoting the rates. 4. If performance of the contractor is found unsatisfactory , the department reserves the right to terminate his Contract at anytime during the contract period. However, if the services rendered by the contractor is found satisfactory, the annual contract may extend for a further period of one year on mutual agreement. 5. The contractor is required to pay his employees / labour as per the prevailing minimum wages approved by State/ Central Govt. The Officer In –Charge or his representative will witness the payment of contractor’s labour and is required to certify that the contractor does not pay less than the minimum wages approved. Payment to the contractor will be released only on such certification from Officer In –Charge. The contractor shall maintain 1. Register of Workmen employed 2. Muster roll 3. Register of wages etc.

6. The rates quoted shall include cost of all tools and tackles, manpower including wages and GST etc. as applicable but exclusive of EPF and ESI. EPF and ESI are reimbursable as per relevant clause on production of proof of payment as per CPWD norms. 7. The Contractor shall, at his own expense, arrange to take and maintain an Insurance Policy towards Workmen’s Compensation from any subsidiary of General Insurance Corporation for any body till the end of the contract period, in the name of Contractor, injury and/or death etc. of the persons engaged for this work 8. The Contractor, on the request of the Department, shall immediately dismiss from the work any of the Contractor’s workers or any person/s engaged by them to carry out the above jobs, who, in the opinion of this department may be unsuitable or incompetent for the work entrusted. Further if any of the workers commits any misconduct, such person/s shall not be employed again by the Contractor without the permission of the dept. Suitable replacement to be made immediately.
