CHAIR VARENDAH FD M & L for dismantle u/s components and wornout cane of following items carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts and S& F with new components as mentioned in the drg. All joints to be fixed with arc welding and level the surface smooth with stone paper machine required during repair as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Rusted frames to be chopped-off with hack-saw blade and MS conduit pipe 20 mm dia, 16 G (1.6 mm thick) of required length to be replaced and duly welded and painted with one coat of red oxide primer.

Wornout MS rods to be replaced with new MS rod 10 mm dia connecting rear legs to be welded and apply redoxide primer.

Wornout 20 mm MS tube at leg/frame joints to be welded to retain stability and apply red oxide primer at the jointed area

Removing u/s worn out cane from the chair, Level the rough steel tube surface, if any with stone paper machine and apply redoxide and two coat of while enamel paint and thereafter cane with Mat pattern finish approved make Plastic cane 4 mm wide 0.5 mm thick half-round in white or Ivory colour.

CHAIR CB STEEL WITH ARMS AND WITHOUT ARMS M&L for Dismantling u/s components and worn out cane of followingitems carefully wothout disturbing the adjoining parts and S & F with new components as mentioned in the drg. All joints to be fixed with arc welding and level the surface smooth with stone paper machine required during repair as directed

M&L for Dismantling rusted leg or seat or back rest frame of chair with hack-saw blade and MS conduit pipe 25 mm dia, 16 G (1.6 mm thick) of required length to fixed, duly welded and painted with one coat of redoxide

Smooth the lateral surface of chair with machine paper and paint chair with OG enamel paint

Removing worn out seat frame and S & F of Seat frame made out of Ist Class TW frame and canned with 2 mm wide and 0.4 mm thick half-round of approved colour and 4 mm wide thick frame for borders and frames shall be polished or painted as required and fixed with 4 No GI Nut, bolt and washer of size 3" long

Removing worn out back rest frame and S & F of back frame made out of Ist Class TW frame and canned with 2 mm wide and 0.4 mm thick half-round of approved colour and 4 mm wide thick frame for borders and frames shall be polished or painted as required and fixed with 4 No GI Nut, bolt and washer of size 3" long

Arm rest made out of Ist class TW, french polished and fixed with MS screws in lieu of broken arms

Hard rubber bush with MS screws in lieu of worn out one

Hard rubber cap for rear leg top side to be fixed for open end of the conduit pipe

CHAIR SCHOOL WITH HAND BOARD M&L for Dismantling u/s components and worn out cane of followingitems carefully wothout disturbing the adjoining parts and S & F with new components as mentioned in the drg. All joints to be fixed with arc welding and level the surface smooth with stone paper machine required during repair as directed

Remove broken/faded seat and replace with new PVC trough seat (Aproved make) made of 4mm thick with 4x10 mm ribs moulded integrally and the same to be fitted with AI alloy screws

Dismantling u/s worn out hand board with 18 mm thick prelaminated particle board exterior grade OSL and edges fixed with PVC beeding 1.5 mm thick with wire nails

Weld the disjointed MS plain bar shelf under the seat of the chair whereever required

One coat of Painting the MS/CRCA frame of the chair with black enamel paint

Fix the PVC shoe cap, duly removing worn out one

Chair Varendah (MAP) M&L for Dismantling u/s components and worn out cane of followingitems carefully wothout disturbing the adjoining parts and S & F with new components as mentioned in the drg. All joints to be fixed with arc welding and level the surface smooth with stone paper machine required during repair as directed

Removing the broken seat and S & F of approved make PVC seat cover of minimum 3.5 - 4 mm thick

Removing the broken back and S & F of approved make PVC back cover of minimum 3.5 - 4 mm thick

Rusted legs or seat/back rest frames to be chopped-off with hack-saw blade and MS conduit pipe 20 mm dia, 16 G (1.6 mm thick) of required length to be replaced and duly welded and painted with one coat of redoxide

S & F additional MS rods made of 10 mm dia (455 mm in length approxi) either vertical or horizontal to the seat frames for base support, duly welded and painted with one coat of red oxide and two coat of while enamel paint, irrespective of drawing and as directed

Fix the PVC shoe cap, duly removing worn out one

REPAIRS OF TABLES FD- 84(M), 1004/1005 M & L for removing following unserviceable/broken portion from steel tables/teapoy verandah and S&F same to the items as per standard drgs and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

TABLE OFFICE CLERK STEEL Table top size 1200 x 610 mm for Table office clerk steel of PLB (OST) Exterior grade 18mm thick and provide 4mm thick teakwood beading alround the top including polishing.

Replace u/s Drawer with new one for Table office clerk steel as per drg duly painted with red oxide and 2 coat of OG paint

Replace the vertical MS strip for auto locking purpose, beneath drawers inside the office clerk/officer table completely with new and check open/close function of all drawers when top drawer is closed/locked

Adjust/grease the metal stiffener underneath the drawers for smooth functioning while open/close of them

Replace MS square pipe 25x25mm 16 Gauge thick as per standard drgs of steel tables as required.

S & F for hard rubber shoes to bottom of steel table's legs in shape as square 25mm. FD- 84(M), 1003/1004/1005/1008/165

REPAIRS OF STEEL ALMIRAHS AND LOCKERS

M& L for Removing old unserviceable locks from Almirahs S & F new 6 lever lock with duplicate Flat key (2 Nos of key) Make Godrej/Bharat or Equivalent of existing size fixed with screw/ welding to shutter of almirahs all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M& L for Removing old unserviceable 3-way Assembly from Almirahs and supply and fix new assembly including 6mm thick bars round with necessary fittings of approved quality all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M& L for Removing old unserviceable broken handles from Almirahs and supply and fix new Godrej pattern handle with necessary fittings of approved quality all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M& L for Removing the unserviceable/rusted bottom from Almirahs steel and supply and fix new bottom made out of 1mm thick MS sheet made to shape and size on drawing and fixing by welding matching with existing almirah and two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and all as specified.

M& L for Removing the existing unserviceable legs from Almirahs steel and supply and fixing the new legs made out of 1.5 mm thick MS sheet and fixed with welding/riveting for the bottom portion as per existing size and duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint shade over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified.

M& L for Removing old broken hinges of Almirahs steel and S & F new MS hinges or U clips of same shape & size as existing in steel almirah by fixing duly welded and all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M& L for Removing the unserviceable shelves from Almirahs steel & supply and fix new shelves made out of 1mm thick MS sheet made to shape and size on drawing and fixing with cleats, nuts and bolts all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M& L for Removing wornout doors shutter of Almirahs and bringing the item to the original shape and refixing the repaired door shutters with suitable hinges all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M& L for Removing the existing dented shelves from Almirahs steel bringing the item to the original shape and refixing the shelves with necessary cleats/nuts/bolts including one coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for removing u/s or broken pipe and S& F new Chromium plated conduit pipe 20 mm dia of length 360 mm

M & L for removing u/s or broken socket for handing rod and S&F new one

M & L for removing u/s or broken socket Hasp and staple and S& F new of size (75X40X5 mm) made of SS or AL

M & L for removing u/s or rusted legs and S & F new leg having 100 mm high of size 600 x 150 mm made of MS SHEET 1.25 MM thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer.

Removing the u/s short rail (whose thread ends were cracked) and fixing of 32 mm dia GI Pipe medium grade short rail 900 mm length made out of long rail retrived from item No 21.02, duly threaded the ends upto 22 mm size complete irrespective of what is shown in the drawing

Removing existing u/s legs and fixing of leg 440 mm length made out of long rail retrived from item No 21.02 or short rail retrived from item No.21.03, duly provided with MS base plate 6 mm welded & painted twice with black paint

Dismantling u/s 3-way elbow and S & F of new 36 mm dia 3-way elbow (ISI brand), having 32 mm bore for the joints of long/short rails as shown in the drg

Dismantling u/s check nut and S & F of new 6mm thick check nut for the corner joints of long/short rails as shown in the drg

S& F 25 mm square MS Pipe of 1.6 mm thick short rail 890 mm (approved brand : TATA/SAIL/JINDAL/BST/SHYAM STEEL/BHUSAN) duly welded the ends to the long rail at an equal distance as shown in the drg for resting the Ply top and connecting to 32 GI Pipe from underneath rails for better grip while placing the Ply top

Apply one coat of red/zinc oxide and two coat of black paint to the short rail square pipes fitted at item 21.06 above

CHARPOY GI NEWAR : CONVERSION TO PLYTOP

Removing the unserviceable / worn out newar from the existing charpoy GI Pipe

M & L for removing the u/s long rail (whose thread ends were broken either at one end or both side) by loosing existing check nut and elbow and S & F of new 32 mm dia GI Pipe medium grade long rail 1980 mm length (approved brand i.e., TATA/JINDAL/BANSAL/BST/ZENITH/PRAKASH/NEZONE), duly threaded the ends upto 22 mm size as shown in the drawing and as directed by the Engr-in-charge

Removing the u/s short rail (whose thread ends were cracked) and fixing of 32 mm dia GI Pipe medium grade short rail 900 mm length made out of long rail retrived from item No 21.02, duly threaded the ends upto 22 mm size complete irrespective of what is shown in the drawing

Supply and fixing of 12 mm size BWR Grade Plywood IS: 303 of size 6'.6" x 3' Type A / AA (approved brand i.e., Greenply/Kitply/Century/Sylvan/National/Assam ply/Archid/Alishan) made from the standard size 7' x 3' over the Long rails & short rails through drilling holes with 10 in No. Nickel Nut, bolt and washers. The four corner parts of plytop to be made curve shape as directed and also alround edge of Ply should be applied mixture of french chalk powder, shellac & spirit and added colour for smooth finish irrespective of drawing and as directed by Engr-in-charge

PANTING OF ITEMS M & L for preparation of old steel surfaces by scraping with emery paper, cleaning, redusting, making the surfaces smooth and apply putty whereever required and one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade of approved make & quality inside and out side of almirah large steel with shelves with spray machine wherever appliacble and all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge For the following items at OTMs , Md Accns and furniture yard
