The UPS shall include aRectifier, inverter, battery bank suitable for 30 minutes back up(Battery VAH capacity shall not be less than 1600 VAH per KVAof UPS rating per Hour backup time) on full load (Battery shallbe VRLA, SMF in ABS Container) and Static Bypass switch alongwith manual bypass, suitable isolation transformer for additional protection against neutral faults etc.The UPS systems shall be Microprocessor based DigitalControl, using Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT)'s bothfor the rectifier & inverter with PWM (Pulse Width Modulation)Technology. The quality of design, manufacturing andinspection process should confirm to the relevant Inter-nationalstandards such as IEC/EN/VDE. The operating efficiency of theUPS systems shall be >95% at 100% non-linear loads. Currenttotal harmonic distortion(ITHD)/ total demand distortion (TDD)on the input grid shall be < 5% at 100 %load. (The required LCfilters shall be included in UPS cost), extreme power factor kit tobe include to limit the input pf to 0.99 and output power factorshall be unity (i.e. kw rating of the UPS shall be kva rating x 1 )however UPS shall be suitable to take load at 0.7 laging to 0.7leading power factor loads. UPS shall be suitable for incomingsupply AC single phase 160-270V 50 Hz and delivering outputAC supply true sine wave single phase 220/230/240 Volt, 50Hz +/- 0.2Hz, Overload capacity of 120% for 10 mins and 150%for 1 minute. Operating temperature 0 to 40 deg C, Relative humidity 0-95%non condensing, noise level less than 60db at 1 meterdistance,Protection for Under voltage, over voltage, abnormaloutput voltage, battery over charging, output over current, shortcircuit, battery deep discharge , 10 KV surge. Display forwatt/VA,Amp and Voltage power parameters etc. UPS shallcomply with low voltage electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)achieved as per EN 6204, EN6204 Part I and Part 2, it shall be a Voltage and Frequency Independent (VFI) type UPS (as perstandard IEC 62040-1, 2 & 3) . The UPS should be with IGBTBased Inverter Technology, CommunicationRS232/RS485/SNMP port open protocol for BMS integration asper approved by Engineering in charge. Required battery racks,DC breaker of suitable rating and interconnecting copperconductor cable of suitable size and connectors and all requiredaccoseries are inclusive in the cost. | 2Providing AMC for Ups under item No.1. Under the AMC the supplier shall provide comprehensive Mtc. service of the s including the spares and there shall be no hidden cost. Preventive Mtc. service of the equipment under AMC must be carried out once in fortnight. During the period of AMC service/repair calls are to be attended by the supplier within two hours from the time of such calls. The defective equipment should be repaired on the same day at purchaser’s location. In case of major defects requiring the defective item/ equipment to be taken to the supplier workshop. It should be returned within a week’s time duly repaired and immediate substitute item/ equipment will be provided by the supplier for the smooth operation of the lifts. The to and from transportation of the item/ equipment will be the responsibility of the supplier. Delays in attending the calls and or repairing the defective equipment beyond time limit of one day will attract penalty @ Rs.500/- per day. The bidder will undertake the supplies of necessary Mtc. equipment and spare parts will be made available for all the equipment and the complete system for a period of 5 years on continuing basis 1st year free and thereafter for four years on paid basis.
