Item Breakup - 001- GROUP-I (Items of SOR S&T 2026)
Supply of optic fiber splice closure (48 fiber) as Numbers per technical Specification No. G/OJC-02/01, March'99 with latest amendment or latest including all miscellaneous items and consumables for fiber splicing. Inspection: Consignee.
Jointing, terminating & splicing of 48 optical Numbers fiber cable and fixing of termination box/FDF/placing of joint closures in the pit required at various locations including transportation of all the jointing & terminating materials from railway store to the work site and returning leftover materials to the railway store.
Excavation of the jointing pit and provision of Numbers RCC/FRP joint /Loop chambers of 90 cm. Inner dia. 60 cm. depth and 3mm thickness with two pieces of top cover with hooks each and bottom cover with hole for drainage and cable entry as per Drg. No. RAILTEL/SR/OFC/ 2009/12 and as directed by Engineer to be provided at every joint location and at every Kilometer loop etc., The chamber shall be filled with sand mixed with ariti-stermic power, back filling and ramming of trench after HDPE duct laying, splicing and commissioning.
Supply of 40 mm. dia. permanently lubricated Kilometre HDPE telecom: ducts (with chord) as per RDSO Spec. No. RDSO/SPN/TC/45/2013 Rev.2.0 with latest amendments or Latest in length of 1000 mtrs./roll For each km. of HDPE duct following items are to be supplied (a) end plugs-2 nos. (b) cable sealing plugs - 2 nos. (c) plastic couplers slip fit/push fit type-2 nos. (d) end plugs to be provided along with drum 2 nos. Color to be specified by Railways. Inspection: Consignee.
Laying of HDPE/DWC/GI Pipes.
Blowing of armoured optic fiber cable (OFC Kilometre Cable supplied by Railways) into the HDPE duct by using a blowing machine and associated works. 10% of OFC length to be blown extra on both ends of Duct i.e. total 20% of Duct length. Before blowing the duct integrity shall be tested. The payment shall be made after ensuring duct integrity and corrective action wherever required at his own cost. Payment will be made as per the length of Duct from which OFC is Blown.
Laying cores/pairs/quads in trenches/GI pipes/RCC pipes/DWC pipes/Trunking.Power Cable as required will be supplied by Railways.
Excavation of trench at a of Depth of 1200 Kilometre mm. and width of 300 mm., including marking of cable alignment, clearing of jungle, roots of trees, bushes, refilling with excavated soil, ramming and consolidation after laying of cables complete to the finished item of work in all type of Soil. NOTE: In case 1.2 m. depth of the trench is not achievable due to site conditions approval of officer in charge is to be obtained and payment shall be made on a prorate basis. Arranging unskilled labour at S&T Stores for Man- loading/ unloading/stacking of departmental Days materials.
Segregation, stacking, loading, unloading and Per Unit transportation in a 6 MT capacity vehicle from Store to Scrap Depot or Store to Store within a city as per instruction of Engineer In charge. ('Per unit' is to be treated as 'Per Load')
Installation of Relay Rack Assembly including Numbers IDF pillars if any complete with wall supports, scaffolding, ladders, runway for cables, fixing of Relay / Relay group base plates, fixing of Tag blocks etc. The work shall be done as per approved plan, extant practice on ER & the instructions of Rly engineer at site.
Circuit diagrams in the relay racks/IDF rack tag blocks. This includes preparation of Jumper sheets by wire-man duly checked by firm's site supervisor & wire to wire testing as per circuit diagram. Any wrong jumper done by a wireman will not be paid & correction shall be done free of cost. Jumper wires will be supplied & issued by Railways. Good quality solder resin core to be supplied by contractor for soldering of Jumper wires. Soldering of jumper wires to be done after completion of testing by Railways. This item is to be used for only Alterations in any EI/PI/RRI. Inspection: Consignee. ('Per unit' is to be treated as 'Per Jumper') Total 384260.00

Tower foundation, tower fabrication, tower Numbers erection including survey, soil investigation, design, drawings, testing, supply, transportation, storage, painting, earthing and fencing as per RDSO approved 40m tower drawings.
Independent consultant for certification of Numbers activity completion (safety consultant).
Dismantling of Existing Kavach Tower ER HQ-S AND T/EASTERN RLY
Transportation accessories including handling of stores materials, preparation of site and boring for laying of Two (02) nos. Of 40mm HDPE pipes or as per site engineer for placing and for crossing of signalling /telecom. Cable through HDPE pipe at bridges/ culverts/ track crossing/ pucca road crossing, boring trench shall be minimum 03 (three) meter below the river bed and 01(one) meter below the track/road/pucca road crossing area. This includes supply of permanently lubricated HDPE telecom. Ducts 40mm/33mm (with chord) as per RDSO SPEC. NO.RDSO/SPN/TC/45/2013 REV. 2.0 with latest amendments. For each km. of HDPE duct the following items are to be supplied (a) end plugs - 02 nos. (b) cable sealing plugs - 02 nos. (c) plastic couplers slip fit / push fit type - 02 nos. (d) end plugs to be provided along with drum - 02 nos. Note: - cost of fuel and all other items which will be required for laying of cable through HDPE pipe. The work shall be executed as per site engineer. Material (HDPE Pipe) Inspection by RITES. Cables will be supplied by Railway.
