Dismantling, floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store yard and rubbish off the premises as directed.

M&L for non skid ceramic coloiured tiles joint free 7 to 8 mm thick (square/rectangular ) area of each tile exc 0.06 Sqm but not exc 0.11 Sqm as in floor of shade & designed as approved by GE,set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed with white cement with colour pigment to match the colour of tiles,15 mm thick rendering in bedding layer or screed bed in cement mortar (1:4) in floors etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Glazed rectfied jointless light coloured group ceramic tiles, PEI Grade-0 of size 300mmx450mm, thickness not less than 6mm as in vertical surfaces such as skirting/dado etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed with white cement and pigment to match, laid over and including 10mm thick plastering in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified.

Taking down chowkats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from frames) area not exceeding 1.50 sqm each complete all as specified

S&F Steel windows made up of box steel section of 16 gauge MS sheet outer frame, shutter frame and centre frame with outer side glazed shutter and inner side wire mesh shutter fixed as shwon in drg consisting with two nos pintol hinges 100 mm long, two nos stove enemaled tower bolts 150 mm long and one no steel handle, deovitailed are welded each panel complete with necessary cleats and stopers all as specified as directed.

Steel ventilator made up of box steel section of 16 gauge MS Sheet frame, partly fixed and partly openable with outer glazed shutter and inner side wire gauge shutter consisting with 2 Nos pintos hinges 100mm long 2 Nos stove enamelled tower bolt 150mm long and 1 Nos steel handle dovetailed or welded with each shutter complete with necessary cleat and stopper complete all as specified and directed (MS Gaurd bar/grill work will be measured and separately.

S&F sheet glass ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty in square n. exc 0.50 Sqm in each pane 3mm thick all as specified

S & F for stainless steel wire cloth 0.36mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm and fixed with stainless steel wire staples or wooden beads complete all as specified and directed.

Powder coated Aluminium windows/vents complete all as specified in particular specification and as shown on drawings for various sizes and pattern with following powder coated aluminium sections :- Notes:- A. The rates quoted for powder coated aluminium sections shall be deemed to include the following:- (i) The aluminium section and fittings shall be Pure polyster powder coated of thickness not less than 50 microns. (ii) Rubber gasket for fixing glass to windows/vent shutters. (iii) Fixing of window in openings with and including min 75x10 GI screws all around @ 300C/C (Min 2 Nos on one side) with PVC RAWL PLUGS/Sleeves. (iv) Rollers, concealed lock cum handle & other fittings for sliding shutters shall be provided as per manufactures instructions and approved by GE. (v) Silicone sealant shall be applied on internal as well as external periphery of window and masonry joint to avoid water seepage. (vi) All other sundries all as per manufacturer instructions and as directed. B. The rates quoted for powder coated sections shall exclude the cost following and shall be paid seperately under respective items of Sch`A'/BOQ:- (i) Glass and wire mesh (ii) 40x40x3 aluminum angle provided on all corners of the windows. (c) Aluminum-U-channel shall be provided for fixing of wire mesh. (d) Powder coated aluminium handles and hinges for fixing of openable shutters C. OTHER (i) No allowance for wastage/overlaps shall be considered for payment. (ii) Range of dimension of opening size has been mentioned. The same shall be fixed as per measurements of opening of windows as per site requirement by the GE/EIC during execution of work. (iii) Powder coated aluminium section shall be provided all as shown on drawings and as directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete, all as specified.

SMART PAINTING

M&L for complete removal of existing treatement by scraping with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 80 Grit having dia 7"/9" to make the surface free from dust, loose paint etc, by skilled labour complete all as directed.

M&L for waterproof cement based putty @ 1Kg (undiluted) per Sq mtr. of average thickness 1mm over the plastered/old painted wall after scrapping to prepare the surface even and smooth complete and sanding of the putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 240 Grit ofr above to make the surface free from dust etc, by skilled labour as per following steps :- Step 1) Mix the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturer instructions and mix it with putty mixer with the capacity of min 2.5 Kg putty per minute. Step 2) Apply the first coat the prepared mixer with the help of fully automatic airless spray machine of putty application having flow speed spray machine of putty application having flow speed of max 6 ltrs per minutes with a maximum pressure 3300 PSI. Step 3) Allow 6-8 hrs time dry the putty surface.

M&L for applying two coats of oil bound distermper using airless technology with max working pressure of 3300 PSI and capable of operating single spray gun with max material hose length of 30 mtr the spray machine should be of reputed manufacturer with pro paint manufacturer and as mentioned in PS and accessories for applying distermper should be able to spray in hard to reach areas and penetration of distemper on the surface complete all as specified and directed. Note : Sanding of surface to be done by mechanical sander with 1500-2700 rpm, with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by paint manufacturer.

M&L for one coat of acrylic water based exterior grade primer @ 0.8 ltr (undiluted)/10 Sq mtrs diluted with water in 1:1 ratio to be applied with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of min 1 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface for painting subsequent coats.

M&L for two coat water based premium acrylic smooth exterior emulsion of approved colour with silicon additive & Colour stay technology, excellent Drit pick up resistance with low VOC less than 50 gram/litre as per LEEDS specifications, Anti Algal properties in two coats @ 1.79 ltr (undiluted with water as per manufacturer instructions applied over priming coat with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of min 1 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in both the coats of paint complete all as directed. Note for item No 72.01 to 72.05 above (a) The work pertaining to periodical services & water proofing shall be executed from authorized applicator through manufacture of which the materials.i.e. Paint Distermpe, Cement base paint, Putty etc. is proposed to be used by the contractor and approved by Garrison Engineer.

M&L for preparation of old surfaces (Plastered or unplastered) of walls including cornices, plasters etc including brooming or steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss, efflorescent salts, trading oil, greasy spots and aplpying one coat of white wash on wall, complete, all as specified and as directed.

Note for Ser Item Nos 72.01 to 72.07 (i) Painting work shall be carried out according to smart painting procedure. (ii) Painting work shall be carried out directly through a paint manufacturer or his approved applicator as approved by the GE. (iii) After completion of work,the contractor is liable to obtain and submit warranty for one year on workmanship and warranty on product as applicable from approved paint manufacturer or their approved applicator.
