Earthwork excavation for roadwork in soil by mechanical means with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting to the embankment location, unloading, with all lifts and lead including all labour, hire charges of all machineries with all other incidental charges etc., complete and as per the direction of the Engineer-In-Charge for successful completion of work.

Preparation and surface treatment of formation by removing mud and slurry, watering to the extent needed to maintain the desired moisture content, trimming to the required line, grade, profile and rolling with 8-10 tonne smooth wheeled roller to get the required density as per clause 310 including all lifts and lead, loading and unloading chargres , Cost of material & labour charges, hire charges of all machineries, materials with all other incidental charges etc., complete and as per the direction of the Engineer-In-Charge for successful completion of work.

Construction of Granular sub-base by providing laying, spreading and compacting of coarse graded Material ( Table -400-1) , mixing in a Wet mix plant of 75 tonne capacity at OMC, carriage of mixed material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller 8-10 tonne to achieve the desired density of 98% including protection of edges of GSB layer including cost of all materials, labour, hire charges of machinery, lighting, guarding, barricading, maintenance of diversion road, loading & unloading, all lead and lift etc.,with lead of mixed material & with all other incidental charges to achieve minimum CBR value of 30% complete and as per the direction of the Engineer-In-Charge for successful completion of work.(Compacted Thickness) Using Grading-III Plant Mix method

Providing and fixing of Reflective Raised Pavement marker (RPM’s) / Cat eyes / Road studs confirming to ASTM D4280 type - H, having reflective panels made of prismatic lens of total internal reflection, the prismatic lens should be electronically fixed (welded) to body made of polycarbonate mould, with a height of 20mm size of 130mm X 105mm and reflecting area of 13 Sq Cm with the slope of retro reflective surface within the limit of 35 + / - 5 degree to the base on either side. The marker shall display an initial minimum luminous intensity of 279 mcd / lux at an entrance angle of zero degree and observation angle of 0.20degree. The corresponding values for 20 degree entrance and 0.2degree observation angle shall be 112 mcd / lux with colour multiplying factor on either cases for white, yellow and red markers being 1.00, 0.60 and 0.25 respectively.
