SPECIAL REPAIR/RPLACEMENT OF EVAC SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT AT ACD DOCK ND (MBI)

Taking down unserviceable macerator pump from the existing sewage treatment tank system by disconnected all inlet and outlet pipes electric connections sensors etc and Supply, installation , testing of macerator pump (for ORCA II A 500 STP) of following specifications: (i) Type:centrifugal macerator pump with rotary cutter for grinding solids. (ii) Power rating: 1.0 HP (0.75 KW). (iii) Function: Macerates raw sewage upon entry into the treatment tank to facilitate intial chlorination by mixing with 5% hypochloride solution. (iv) Material: Housing: corrosion resistant marine grade materials include sacrificial anode for protection, Impeller/cutter: stainless steel or compitable durable alloy for abrasion resistance. (v) Flow capacity: 14 GPM (0.88 Ltr/Sec) for standard toilet, surge capacity upto 150 GPM. (vi) Pressure rating: Operates at system pressure upto 40 psi feeds into downstream flow pump. (vii) Voltage : 415/380 Volt AC, starting current of 7.3 amps, running current of 3.3 amps. (viii) Motor protection: Thermally protected integrated with microprocessor for overload shutdown and alrams.The macerator pump is of submersible type and is installed inside the treatment tank of STP submerged in the sewage water and recirculation within treatment tank with complete accessories all as specified and directed. Note for items 1 to 10: (i) All the maintananace work will be carried out by authorised OEM rep in this regard MOU between contractor and OEM will be submitted to Deptt. (ii) Any minor spares required for operation of STP will be included in the quoted rate. (iii) The contractor will be fully responsible for coordination with OEM to carry out all the repair work and for servicieability of STP plant. (iv) All T&P required will be arranged by the contractor.(v) Any fresh water required for functional of STP plant will be arranged by the contractor. (vi) Any defects occurs after repair or serviceability of STP will be carried out by the contractor within defects liability period on priority basis and all liason with OEM will be fully responsibility of the contractor. If the contractor fails to attend the defects a penalty of Rs 5000/- per day will be imposed. (vii) The contractor in consultation with OEM will provide 1 month training to the staff deployed at STP in during the completion period of contract.(viii) The contractor will arrange technician to operate the STP till completion of contract agreement.

Taking down unserviceable discharge pump from the existing system and supply, installation , testing of discharge pump (for ORCA II A 500 STP) used for effluent pump responsible for pumping treated, disenfected water from the sendimentation chambers to the overboard discharge line having following technical specifications: (i) Type: Centrifugal, single stage, electric driven. (ii) Flow rate: 342 Ltr/Min 6-8 mtr head. (iii) Power rating: 0.5-0.75 HP, 380 VAC, 3 phase, 50 Hz. (iv)Vvoltage rating 430V, with starting current of 3.3Amps, running current 1.2 Amps. (v) Motor Type: Totally enclosed, non ventilated TEFC, IP55 protection. (vi) Material: Impeller made of Bronze or stainless steel for corrosion resistance. (vii) Pump housing material: cast iron or stainless steel with epoxy coating, shaft seal: Mechanical seal carbon/ceramic. Bearings: Grease lubricant ball bearing rated 20000+ hour of run. (viii) Inlet/outlet size: 1.25-1.5" NPT flanged option available. (ix) Dry run protection: Integrated thermal overload and low level sensors with complete accessories all as specified and directed.

Taking down unserviceable transfer pump from the existing system and supply, installation , testing of transfer pump (for ORCA II A 500 STP) with fllowing technical specifications: (i) Type: Transfer pump upto 60 m3/Hrs maximum open flow, typical transfer rate 10-20 m3/Hr, system capacity supports 500 gall/day treated effuent. (ii) Power rating: 1.5 KW (2 HP). (iii) Voltage/frequency: 380 VAC, 50 Hz, full load amp: 4.2 Amp at 380 Volt, 3.6 amp at 460 Volt. (iv) Speed: 1450 rpm at 50 Hz or 1750 rpm at 60 Hz. (v) Head: Maximum discharge head: 10 mtr suitable forlift from holding tank to treatment unit. (vi) Material: Housing:Cast iron corrion resistant for marine sewage, impeller: stainless steel shaft, seals mechanical carbon/ceramic, viton elastomers for chemical resistance. (vii) Connections: 50 mm flanged inlet and 40 mm outlet. (viii) Motor Type: Totally enclosed fan cooled TEFC induction motor, IP55 protection class automatic operation via level switches in holding tank to prevent dry running., overload protection via control panel compitable with flocculant dosing upstream for enhanced treatment. The pump has starting current of 12 amps, running current 2.3 amps, ON cycle time in auto mode is 420 sec, OFF cycle time in auto mode is 780 sec with complete accessories all as specified and directed.

Taking down unserviceable cell probe from the existing system and supply, installation , testing of cell probe submersible electrode (for ORCA II A 500 STP) designed for corrosive environments in sewage treatment and mounting the probe directly in the electrolytic cell assembly with following technical details: (i) Type: Electrode probe for elctrolytic monitoring(measure voltage, current or ORP in the cell). (ii) Material: Titanium or platinum coated titanium corrosion resistant for saline /sewage exposure, non refillable gel electrolyte. (iii) Function: Monitor electrolyte cell performance, including chlorine generation efficiency, tempreture compensation and fault detection i.e low current alarm. (iv) Pressure rating: upto 10 bar for submersible use in pressurized cell all specification as per OEM all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair, maintainance, servicing,greasing,cleaning,testing of existing macerator pump voltage rating of 430V, starting current of 7.3 amps, running current of 3.3 amps complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair, maintainance, servicing,greasing,cleaning,testing of existing discharge pump of voltage rating 430V, with starting current of 3.3Amps, running current 1.2 Amps, head of 6.4 meter and discharge rate of 342 ltr/min complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair, maintainance, servicing,greasing,cleaning,testing of existing transfer pump with head of 9 mtr, discharge rate of 114 ltr/min,voltage rating of 430 volts, starting current of 12 amps, running current 2.3 amps complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for servicing, cleaning,filling of chemical , setting of response time and operating tempreture, setting of pressure rating, clean the probe with acid solution measurement of ORP, check the probe sense during oxidation-reduction potential to regulate current, ensure effluent chlorine residual of 1-3 ppm etc in cell probe with complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning of STP tank by mechanical flushing of treatment tankpreparation of tank by close all valves, isolate electrical power to pump and motor, drain the holding and treatment tank partially using the recirculation pump to a certified waste facility, ventilate the tank for 24 hrs and test with multi gas detector. Inspection visually sedmintation chamber, aeration diffusers and wall for scale, slime or residue, check PH and chlorine level in residual liquid, flushing chamber by pump and with fresh water or sea water with mild non corrosive cleaner for descaling, sedisediment removal by vacum pump via drain pump, use high pressure rinse for wall and diffusers. backwash diffusers with compressed air/water. Refill with clean water for priming resart the system in manual mode monitor effluent for 24 hrs and put record to office of Eng-in-charge complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning of sewage holding tank of capacity 12 KL by following procedure: (i) Preparation: hut down the system by closing inlet valve, set control panell to OFF and run the system empty, Drain the holding tank with the help of macerator/transfer pump to move contents to the treatment tank, pump out via hull connection or portable pump, inspect for leak, check seams and vent lines etc. (ii) Initial Rinse: Access through manway, remove cover by unscrewing bolts etc, flush with fresh water through inlet hose, agitate manually with soft brush, take care of corners, baffles and sensor probe. (iii) Disinfection and deepp clean: Add 5% sodium hypochloride solution recirculate for 20-30 minutes using pump. Scrab surface by using soft bristle brush to remove biofilm or light scale, Avoid metal tools, use mild acidic cleaner for stubborn, Clean sensors, wipe with soft cloth and distilled water, clean pump strainer with water ispect impelle and flush with compressed air. (iv) Final Rinse and dry: Rinse with fresh water containing 50 ppm chlorine for sanitization, drain completely and allow to air for 24 hrs, check all for cracks, odors, residue etc complete all as specified and directed.
